This small business is cheerful, courteous, and responsive to costumer requests. The owner and staff work hard to make sure customers are happy even if they have to rearrange a bouquet or tagged it out of the vase to sell it to you. I know because they had to do both for me when I wanted a small bouquet for a colorful backdrop at my virtual Seder! Yes, thanks to the good old Pandemic my very first Seder in my new apartment was VIRTUAL! OY! Talk about a downer! This year, I wanted pretty things, laughter, creativity, and lots of good vibes to chase the pandemic away! I needed some pretty followers with purple and orange (my favorite colors) to set the mood. Since, I have never had to make my own Seder, I needed things to (at least) look pretty. See, single people usually get invited to someone else's Seder! I've never had to cook all the food myself. I was done (overwhelmed) before I even started! I had no Seder plate (enter a Charcuterie Board). I had no Matzah cover (enter a rainbow Penzey's towel that said, "Save the World"), my Elijah's cup was my best wine cup -- which left me the chipped one! So, the flowers needed to be perfect!! My little Seder was coming together but I was feeling the pressure but the time I got to the florist. All the food was almost done. The pressure cooker, crock pot, dutch oven, kitchen aid mixer, food processor, and toaster oven had all been deployed for the big event. I had candles and even found all the right prayers. I was ready as soon as I got that last touch -- my flowers. The florist was marvelous. She was calm and accommodating. She took the time to listen to me and went right to it. She went in the refrigerator and pulled this little cowboy boot out. I frowned. Then she got rid of the boot and explained she could make a second small bouquet from flowers in the refrigerator. The 2 bouquets fit perfectly in my case and we're gorgeous! VOILA! It's Pesach! It was a lovely dinner and a fabulous Seder! The food was great!! My table turned out pretty (I think). They flowers lasted for 3 weeks and I got to smoke every day thinking of my Pandemic Seder in my new apartment with the beautiful flowers -- a real fantasy come true! Thank you! read more

The first floral shop I went to had dead flowers all over the floor (this was noon) and one person working behind a desk. When I told her I wanted to discuss flowers for my daughter's wedding she handed me a wedding price list and walked away. Next stop, Fantasy Flowers in Thiensville. The outside of the shop was beautifully decorated for the season, and the inside even more so. Cute fun things to look at no matter which way you turned. The owner, Nancy, sat down with my 2 daughters and I and just chatted and got to know us. We flipped thru books of bouquets while we talked to try to get an idea of what we liked or didn't like. None of us had planned a wedding before so we needed all the guidance we could get, and Nancy came thru in spades. Once we had decided on the theme of Autumn, rustic/classy, Nancy was able to put together some costs of what we needed and in no way tried to talk us into more than what we needed. By finding one picture of a bouquet the bride really liked she was able to suggest changes or additions to the arrangement to customize it for us. When the flowers arrived on the Big Day we all were just amazed at the beauty and artistic talent that went into creating everything. Each arrangement right down to the boutonnieres was attractive and kept the focus shifting to the different colors & textures creating a sense of action and excitement. Not only was I pleased with the feeling that I had gotten a lot of value for my budget, but I was touched to receive a personal thank-you card from Nancy a week after the wedding. Boo! I ordered through their online website and paid for my order. My dad's birthday was in two days. They called and texted the day after saying that they could not fulfill my order because I had not purchased enough?? Really? Left me having to pay a higher shipping rate from the next business I ordered from with due to the now limited time. Was not able to get my dad what I wanted because my budget was now sapped with shipping costs! I am a business owner and do whatever it takes to make my customers happy, even if it means losing some money because of a mistake I made. Great store, great selection, great staff, overall I've found my new go-to florist! I work near here and always wonder what the inside of this place looks like. In Thiensville there isn't much going on yet when you walk into Fantasy Flowers you are transformed into a really cool floral and knick-knack store. I was greeted by the two women that were working there on a Tuesday during lunch. They had a few arrangements yet have a large cooler filled with fresh flowers that they can make an arrangement based on what you like. I decided to go with the latter and told them what I like, what I don't like, and the price. Within a few minutes they put together a great arrangement. For the few minuets she was making the custom arrangement, I walked around the eclectic store. They have tons of stuff for the home and yard. Plus they sell local wine too! You got to love that. They are very detailed and educational in their approach with a great selection that is much more than just flowers. Nancy and her staff are awesome!! She helped guide us through wedding planning from the church to the reception. Her suggestions when we had no idea were right on. Pew markers, corsages, boutonnieres, bridal & bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces-she was able to read my daughter's personality and produced the most beautiful, exquisite floral arrangements that we couldn't even imagine being so gorgeous. Nancy went above & beyond her duties by sewing on groomsmen buttons that had fallen off & the mother of the groom's dress that lost a snap right before the ceremony. She was able to get double-duty out of the pew markers by using them to decorate the head table at the reception saving us money. She was pleasant and smiling the whole time which put us at ease. Fantasy Flowers has been a part of my life growing up in some way or another. Back in high school, we would order flower corsages from here for various dances and proms. The flower arrangements were always beautiful and contemporary. In later years, I've used Fantasy Flowers for special occasion flowers. Each and everytime, the flowers were hearty and gorgeous. Nancy was very warm, friendly, and enthusiastic throughout our wedding planning process. We had a very fun first meeting brainstorming with her even after her shop had closed! We were planning our wedding from out of town but after the first meeting we had an understanding about what we wanted so it was fairly easy to communicate with Nancy over the phone to work out the details. Everything arrived at the church and the reception on time. I mentioned to her that I wanted to donate our centerpieces to hospice the day after our wedding and she generously offered to pick them up at the venue on Sunday and deliver them herself. read more
