The…read morePeter Pan bus depot is one of the most pleasant bus stations ever, with clean bathrooms, high tech schedules, a ticketing desk (tho currently discontinued due to COVID-19 concerns). It has a clean, well-arranged waiting area. One can do people-watching of folks on the Shining Sea Bike Path&gaze upon Beebe Woods. Bonanza/Peter Pan is (was?) popular for its cheap fares among MBL students. It's about $35 to go just about anywhere- Logan Airport, New Jersey, Providence (Rhode Island), Provincetown, Woods Hole. In 2017, the bus station completed its remodel- https://www.capecod.com/newscenter/officials-celebrate-newly-renovated-falmouth-bus-station/ A real plus is that the Falmouth Bus Station, in addition to being clean&pleasant, has the Station Grill, offering sandwiches, Peet's Coffee, and ice cream.

They do try to stay on schedule as much as possible, so it's worth being aware of their scheduled departure times, while also being willing to roll with the punches of timings, such as the possibility of arriving in Woods Hole -just- as a boat is leaving. (You'll be fine as long as it's not the LAST boat.)

The bus left the Sycamore Street station and headed right straight to Boston. Didn't even stop and there were about 6 other people waiting there too. I only found out about this by calling dispatch. Who runs a bus company and avoids stops because they forget or don't feel like stopping? I sent an email the next day and have not heard back from them to this day. Poor customer service. The bus drivers can be cranky too. You better be able to lug your bags yourself under that bus, because there is no guarantee that he/she will help you with that. Since they are the only bus company in the city that goes to Boston, I guess we're stuck with this. I do hope the train comes to this area and then we can say bye bye to Dattco.

Driver seems afraid to do 65-60mph. Hov lane is missed 99% of the time because we end up there late at 10:03-10:10. If the bus would show up on time then we would be in the hov lane in the morning. That's what $320 a month get you. Also you won't make it to work when one of the drivers calls out sick because dattco can't create a contingency plan. POOR!

First, the desk attendant might as well not exist because if you ask him/her a question, they don't bother to help you. For example, I asked them if my bus was running late and the only response I received was an immediate and default "yes". C'mon, really? There's a computer in front of you and you can't even bother to check? After believing that the bus is on time, I wait outside in the near zero degree weather and, after FORTY-FIVE minutes past the scheduled arrival, it arrives. On time...right. My next complaint is probably for Greyhound as an entity. The drivers I worked with this past month were all incompetent, apathetic, and power-tripping. People were smoking cigarettes on the bus and the driver did nothing. People drank to a stupor in the back and filled the restroom with putrid vomit and the driver did nothing. Oh, and if the driver is running late, can you have them not take it out on the customers? Just because you're behind schedule doesn't mean you get to freak out on your customers.

But honestly, my experience was amazing. I'm 19 years old and was traveling alone from Philly to Hyannis, and I'm still not very confident with traveling on my own. What really made this experience so good was the driver. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and kind, but the driver especially stood out. He was a bald man with glasses and a big beard, and he was genuinely one of the sweetest and most caring people I've met while traveling. He was patient with everyone, calm, respectful, and made sure people were okay throughout the ride. That kind of hospitality is honestly hard to find nowadays. Usually traveling stresses me out a lot, but for the first time I actually felt relaxed and comfortable during the trip. He made the whole experience feel safe and easy, and I'm really thankful for that. So thank you again to him and the company for such a great experience.
