We luckily ran into "Your Taxi Service" after getting off of the ferry. We were a party of 5 with luggage. He was reasonably priced and his van was super clean. He clearly takes pride in his business! We made arrangements to have this service pick us up at our airbnb for our return trip. Highly recommended read more

Charles and Gordon have never steered me in the wrong direction ... perhaps attention to the Safety and Emissions Inspection required by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles and the Department of Environmental Protection is called for but the limited resource of licensed inspection stations and inspectors on the island makes it understandable that this task, from time to time, may fall to the wayside. read more

Amazing service and your along the whole island. Charles knew the spots to make our trip amazing and worked with us for our entire stay. The service is Amazing and they are extremely knowledgeable about all of Martha's Vineyard. read more

I was very happy with the service and cost. I will use them again the net time I'm in MV. The driver was pleasant and knowledgeable.

They did not tell us it would be costed per person to drive us to the airport when we booked the taxi. When we arrived at the airport, they then told us it would be $45 each. When we said that was ridiculous; he then threatened to go to the police if we didn't pay over $120 for the ride only miles to the airport. read more

On time, reasonable prices, great drivers. Would definitely use them again. You can call in advance to schedule your trip with them.

Called the evening before and scheduled pickup, they were on time and the driver was polite.

Driver got lost. 10 minutes late. Didn't even get out of car to help me as I struggled with my suitcase & small dog. Drove too fast. $40 for a 15 minute drive. Used to be the one reliable & reasonable taxi. Not anymore. read more

AWESOME COURIER SERVICE! They helped me in a pinch delivering a package while I was not on the island in person. Very kind and accommodating. Honest pricing and fast delivery. Highly recommend. read more

As a state employee who uses this company ( because they have a contract) I was initially reluctant to leave a review. But after this afternoon's taxi ride, I changed my mind... As our driver dropped myself and one other passenger off at the ferry terminal he told us to ..."move it along ladies, I'm in a hurry". I can ASSURE you that we were in no way dawdling! As anyone who has ever had to ride in one of this company's taxis can attest to, there is ZERO desire to spend even one moment more than absolutely necessary inside one of their vehicles. Always beyond filthy, the layers of floor dirt and window grime appear older than the vehicles themselves...which is saying something, since I'm pretty sure none of the taxis are less than 15 or 20 yrs old. Now I'm not saying a 20yr old vehicle can't be perfectly fine. But maintenance is usually involved. If you're lucky, you'll get in one that doesn't smell like 10yrs of stale cigarettes, b.o. or like the last Cheech and Chong movie was filmed inside of it.... Professionalism in customer service seems to be a slightly foreign concept both in management and the drivers...10 minutes of your drivers sh*t talking each other and the owners combined with the dispatch conversations you'll hear (while praying silently not to die inside one of these rattle-traps) is all the proof you need... Don't say I didn't warn you! Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to "move it along"... read more

All island taxi companies charge way too much, but you are locked in on this island and at their mercy. We islanders have some taxi stories that could enhance a best seller, turn you into a hitch hiker or make you laugh for a solid day. People, Vineyard taxis are over priced drama queens on wheels. This cab company does not have the newest, cleanest cabs by any means, but their rates are the best on the island. When other companies want to charge you thirty dollars for a five mile trip, the friendly folks at Your Taxi will only charge you twenty. That is for just one person. You will be charged more for each person in your group. The cab companies on the island can pull in an astonishing two or three hundred dollars per trip for a very short ride and close to a thousand for a trip out to Aquinnah and back if their cab is full. That is before the tip. (And they will often say that they have no spare change, forcing you to tip way more than you should.) Take the VTA, bike, walk or hitch. If you have to use a cab, go with Your Taxi. read more

We were visitors to the island for the first time May 2013. Thank God for Your Taxi. Another taxi company by the name of Adam Cab said their normal fare was $22, but would charge us $44 because we want them to pick us up at 5:45am to catch a 7:00 flight to Boston. After we said that was outrageous they lowered the price to $35. We called Your Taxi and they got us to the airport for only $16 for two of us. When I go back to Martha's Vineyard I will only use Your Taxi. It was one of the owners that took us to the airport. he was very kind and professional and kept us entertained talking about the island life. Thank You, Your Taxi! :) read more

Took trips with this company several times this summer and was generally pleased with my service each time. Except once when I think the dispatcher got offended because i thought he sounded like someone else. But he could've been having a bad day and in my defense, i was outside making the call and there was a lot of background noise so i didn't hear clearly. All in all i found them to be accommodating and reliable. would use again if i go back. read more

This taxi company Is very easy to use and have an easy phone number to remember. They always provide accurate eta for pick ups. I service equipment on the island and try to use this service for rides back to the ferry. read more

Very odd behavior from driver. While sitting and waiting for oil change, driver came in walked by, stopped by where I was sitting and reading a book, and commented "omg, what... is... that.... stench?" about my "perfume" I can only assume. The scenario was just odd, uncalled for and if anyone was offensive in scent, it was the driver not me in my one spritz of body spray. If you cannot control yourself walking through a room for a hot second, I wonder how you control yourself in a customer-facing job all day. read more

Typically on the island it is very difficult and frustrating to arrange for a last minute ride, especially during the times of the ferry boats. I have been told to call ahead the day before etc, but in a last minute ferry change, thats doesn't help one bit unfortunately. For a 2 mile ride into work at the hospital, I have been charged $8-$12 with any given taxi company. This morning I was able to catch a ride with "Your Taxi", despite someone already having this particular taxi saved for themselves and the driver was unsuccessful with dispatch obtaining me a ride. So thankfully she let me tag along, which I was extremely grateful for seeing it is a whopping 18 degrees outside. I was shocked to learn that the fare was only $5 and I was compelled to give her the same back in a tip! Even though the taxi vehicle is extremely outdated etc, if you are looking for something fancy, call a limousine company. I absolutely 100% recommend this taxi company to anyone looking for a friendly and fair ride!! read more

OK, so the taxis are old and decrepit. But they show up on time and the prices are the best on the island, competitive with the mainland for some destinations. Let's keep these folks in business. One of the island's best-kept secrets. read more

We recently spent several days on Martha's Vineyard. We felt the best way to get around the island was by taxi. We used Your Taxi the entire time. All the drivers were punctual and pleasant. We also found the rate to be very reasonable. We will definitely use Your Taxi the next time we visit the island. read more

I have used Your Taxi service for many years now on Martha's Vineyard. They are always on time, their taxis are clean, their drivers are friendly and their prices are more than fair. read more

Me and my friends odered a taxi and they had said that they would be there in 10-15 mins, it took OVER AN HOUR for them to get there and we ended uo cancelling anyway and not being able to go to a dinner party. They were also extremely rude and ne er apologized for the huge inconvenience. Absolutely awful exporoence and extremely frustrating read more

Ridiculous. After an off-season snowstorm, they won't drive down a plowed dirt road to pick up a senior customer for fear their van will get stuck. Having inadequate vehicles that can't serve customers in whatever weather is a sorry excuse for an everyday taxi company. read more

15$ from Oak Bluff to Edgartown...5$ cheaper than Atlantic Taxi. That's a win in my book.

Your taxi gets five stars for having the lowest rates for fares, always being on time and very courteous drivers!!!

I am not sure who this Dorthy W. is but there are no taxi fares on Martha's Vineyard that charge even $100 for a taxi ride let alone $1000.
