She had a big mini van so the perfect amount of space for 2 adults, 2 kids and plenty of baggage. He told me that it was impossible; wanted me to call 15 minutes before arrival despite the fact that everyone knows there is poor connectivity on the ferries. Refused to accept the reservation and hung up on me. I then booked an Uber with no difficulty. I would love to give my business to the locals but this is why they give a bad impression to the tourists I have been coming to the island yearly since 1984 and never understood why some people had a negative impression but now I know.

I was quoted $120 for the car transport from the airport to hotel which is a 15 minute ride. I agreed to pay this which is way more than anyone would pay because I had an child and needed the car seat. When I got the final charge, they charged be over $200. They claim they charge per hour and build in a 30 minute wait time for driver at airport and 15 minute return time to the lot. If this is the case, show this in the pricing instead of making it fine print in your contract. When I voiced my concerns about this, they said sorry for the confusion and sent me a breakdown of the timing- UNACEPPTABLE!
