They had a plastic barrier set up between the driver and passengers and the driver wore a mask the whole time. They also provided us with a tourist packet full of fun things to do on the island, which was amazing, because we were just going to wing it. We ended up following their self guided tour instructions and it was actually a lot of fun and easy to do. We even called the owner for directions getting back to the ferry at the end of the day so we didn't miss it lol. Anyways. Highly recommended family business. Thanks again! We hadn't done this for a while and we called several available services for a quote. We found Majestic CLS to offer the best rate, and it included the gratuity so we gave them a try. We won't ever use anyone else!! Amani (the proprietor) picked us up at our home in a spotless Mercedes sedan class vehicle. He was right on time, loaded our luggage into the back and we were on our way. Amani is a young veteran and a man on the way up. He was courteous, well dressed and politely engaging (which means he will converse if you'd like and provide music or movie to watch if you don't). Majestic wants you to have the best experience possible and Amani and his staff will make notes (what beverage you like for example) about your preferences for possible future bookings. While we were in Florida we heard there might be a big storm in New England on the day of our return and Majestic was in regular contact with us so there was no hiccup. We arrived at Logan and Amani was right there to bring us home. Great company, great owner, great experience. We're Majestic CLS customers from now on!

The cool thing is you get soup or salad with an entree and two sides. That makes the 26 bucks worth it. Kale soup was AMAZING. The bread served was those crappy rolls and they were cold. But once in my soup tasted great ;) The other guest with me had the Cobb salad. The chicken portion was small and it had a lots of salad on a little plate. Given they are new all the little things that I thought they improved on seem to be part just opening. Hopeful with time they become five stars! I'm not a utopian transit wacko who thinks it's plausible to ban cars on the Tappan Zee and of course New Bedford isn't New York but SRTA needs to do better. If I want to be an optimist I can say I enjoyed the scenic walk across the bridge as well as the excellent conversation about food with a Lyft driver. The buses that did exist were generally reliable and drivers were friendly and helpful. And of course I'm grateful that I got there just before the temporary free fare program ended. Tourism/geography notes: the bus can get to you to the scenic Fort Taber area. I stayed in Fairhaven and took the bus to/from downtown several times. It's somewhat indirect, presumably to avoid the bridge that opens for boats, but is listed at a relatively brisk 16 minutes.

Last year I spent the last day of my vacation driving around the VH lot and refreshing the change reservation page for hours before I finally got a boat. This year I tried to get our boats in February for August and they were already booked all day on Sunday. I rode the waitlist and inched toward our desired day of departure, and spent our whole vacation knowing when we'd be going home. It's crazy that you have to secure so early in the year, and even then nothing's promised, but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad. The people are always really lovely and the chowder onboard is arguably better than Larsen's - I said what I said!

I can honestly say that I have never had this much fun camping in my life! They accommodate both tent and RV campers, there is a spot to please anybody. The facility is secure, and you will feel good knowing that people that don't belong will not get past the gates. They have an amazing store, with all sorts of camping gear, food, firewood, and plenty of ice. They also rent golf carts for use around this beautiful, massive park. There is a beach, swimming area, food shack, and even an ice cream shop. Not only do they offer a variety of regular and seasonal events, they do an amazing job of putting them together and getting people involved. We had the pleasure of being there for their Halloween celebration, including a massive golf cart parade, costume and decorating contests as well. Considering all that you get, their fees are very reasonable. So why not give camping a try and get yourself to Maple Woods to join in on the fun!
