AFAICT, this is one of two ways to travel between Boston and Provincetown easily and without having…read moreto rent a car. Also note that having a car in PTown seems to be... challenging. I picked this because of the schedule, but learned that the Boston pier is very out of the way, and it's not near any subway line. So the best way to get to and from the pier in Boston is by Uber or taxi. The ticket office is very efficient and you can sit while queuing up. The seats are comfortable and our ride was smooth. The PTown queue is a little more chaotic but similar. People tend to cut in line, so like the airlines, you need to just shrug it off since you're all getting there at the same time anyway. They sell drinks onboard and have two heads. Some people hang out outside but the ship moves quickly so it's a wind tunnel out there. One more thing... when you disembark in Boston, there are scammy drivers who act like they are taxi drivers and they won't commit on a price. We had a naive member of the group who just told him our destination and dropped his bag in the car. I would not have, as I don't like to support illegitimate commerce. But I had to, then when we got there, I was arguing with the driver and my companion just paid him in cash, depriving me of any opportunity to resolve the situation. Just don't support those scam artists.

It's been hard with covid and getting enough drivers on the road so I was thankful for Conway willing to go to Wellfleet. The cab driver was so friendly and cordial, offering to pick me up when I was done at the beach. I mistakenly forgot I told her I'd meet her at the Beachcomber to take me back, and she drove up and down the 'comber looking for me, and went back to White Crest where I was. It was a hot day and she even offered her unopened liter of water to me when I told her I ran out of water and Beachcomber didn't sell any bottled water. An Uber/Lyft would have left me stranded, but not Conway. Thank you for the service!

One night she came to pick us up for a girls dinner with the song "Girls just wanna have fun" blaring over the speakers. A fun time was had by all, including Dot, riding through the streets of Ptown singing and dancing at the top of our lungs. Besides Dot's willingness to have fun with us on our rides, she was very responsive to calls, picked us up as needed when we requested a ride, and always was kind and showed up with a smile on her face. Our only regret was not getting a group picture with Dot after our Epic girls weekend! I would highly recommend using Conway Cabbie!

We got to pick our tour time and we were the only ones on the tour, so the price was even more of a steal. My wife and I did this a day after taking the Mayflower trolley bus tour and this was a great follow-up because it went into more detail on the history topics discussed on that tour, as well as going into topics that tour didn't even touch. Plus he showed us some architectural gems we would have never found on our own.

THE WHALES PERFORMED While on the cape, I knew we needed to see whales. We came at the right time of the year and with Captain John Boats offering that 99% success rate for seeing whales on all their trips, I knew we would have to at least see one. AND WE DID. We boarded from the Provincetown dock and as soon as we were leaving on our way out I'd say not even 5 minutes in, we spot the first little guy: a mola mola (I believe that was the name!). That was super cool but moments after, we get to encounter, LIVE, first row to the 2nd largest animal in the WORLD: the fin whale Let that sink in: the second largest animal in the world. The largest being the blue whale. Like WHAT??????????? I got to witness this gorgeous masterpiece of creation feeding and living its best life FIRST row. Despite it staring to rain, wind picking up, temperatures dropping, we kept it together and stayed at the top floor of the boat where we kept getting soaked. Was it worth it? Was IT-WORTH-it? The moment will always and forever repeat in my mind when that fin whale made its appearance and all I could do was scream in excitement and look in AWE. It as for sure a tear jerking moment and something I will always remember. What a highlight. We also saw porpoises just casually hanging out and being SO cute we thought they were dolphins AND got to see a humpback whale. I mean, it was a SHOW. Theatre of the ocean worth way more than what we paid for. Thank you to Captain Josh and the crew for being so amazing and incredible. When entering the dock in Provincetown, this kind lady told us to be back at 4:30PM. But, for some reason, us running down the pier at 4:31PM about 10 feet from the dock... the boat had already left? I'm sorry but it takes about 5-10 minutes at least to undock the boat, so you're telling me the boat was GONE and in the WATER by 4:32PM? Beyond ridiculous. Read the email back from the ticket, maybe next time list that parties should be back BY 4:15PM. Key emphasis on the "BY"... not be back AT 4:30PM. Never will be riding again with this charter.

We rolled our luggage over to their desk inside the Ace Hardware and picked them up to roll them to Macmillan Pier close to departure. It cost us $15 for two bags. No big whoop. THe prices have gone up and are very high…read more The facilities need upgrading (the bathrooms ) seem to be out of order more than they are open, which is very concerning. The pavment on the roads is buckeling and falling part. THe grounds are not maintained as well. Internet is not reliable or strong. Many perm sites have been vacated. I have no issue with the staff, all have been nice and pleasant.
