My favorite St. Louis patio. Tucked behind the Chase Park Plaza, Edera's outdoor space is chic, upscale, and beautiful -- a hidden gem in the Central West End. The service is warm and attentive, the seating is spacious, and the food delivers. The Caesar salad with salmon was elevated and well executed. As someone who doesn't drink, I also really appreciated the mocktail menu -- creative, unique options that felt intentional rather than an afterthought. This was our first time at Edera. At our servers recommendation we had the chopped salad and potato with fig pizza. Weird, right? It was luscious!!! Omg I was a little reluctant but I was so glad to have tried this. I only wish I could figure this out and try to make. The salad was large enough to split and the drinks were great. Our server was great. The ambience was festive but not too loud. A 5 star evening Will be back soon!! Next time we'll try the porch since it's recently open. read more

My sister and I came here for an early dinner, and we got to sit in the patio! It was a beautiful space - but we were tucked away in the back next to the parking lot. It was a bit strange considering the dinner rush wasn't going to be starting soon. Our waiter though was fantastic, and played along with our vibes. The ceasar salad was DIVINE. The Capicola pizza I ordered was delicious! It was summer on a plate - bright flavors from the fennel, and a nice salty touch from the green olives. I would absolutely come back here again for that pizza. We also ordered dessert and their gelato is a BIG 3 scoops so be ready for that. The inside was also beautiful, and I'd love to take my husband here to get a good city feel. The staff was so nice as well! I was super pleased with our visit to Edera recently. It was very busy so would recommend reservations! Staff was attentive and came to get our plates when finished (some may have moved fast and spilled some of the food on the table without wiping, but not a big deal) and refilled our water repeatedly. I've always heard great things about this pace but I wasn't impressed. First when I arrived they couldn't find our reservation which ended up not being a big deal since there was no wait and promptly seated us. However it took almost ten minutes to be greeted by our server. When he brought our bottle of wine I added a salad which never came and wasn't on bill so another forgotten item. Amazing experience. Heard raving reviews about this fancy Italian eatery and I was not disappointed. We had a lovely experience. Ordered Margherita Pizza with Brussel sprouts and it was super good ! Great environment in the heart of central west end, love the lights and the garden setup. The drinks were great, also loved the kale salad it's very vinegary but I loved it. Edera is such a beautiful spot with a great atmosphere. The space is really pretty, and the staff has always been welcoming and friendly whenever I visit. It's definitely a nice place for a relaxed meal or night out. Some of the dishes were a bit hit or miss for me. The pasta I ordered was on the salty side, and the salmon leaned a little salty as well. The margherita pizza was on the smaller side, but still shareable. The Brussels sprouts were really good and definitely a standout. Overall, I think Edera is worth visiting for the atmosphere and service. read more

Such a cute date night, girls night out, work dinner, etc. vibe place in central west end. Parking is all street parking and they don't validate, but I think it's free after 7pm. They take reservations which is nice. The menu is the perfect size - not too overwhelming yet still plenty of choices. I fell in love with the carrots. They were so delicious, I was obsessed. The stuffed pasta sauce was good but I didn't love the pasta itself, didn't seem fully cooked. The margherita pizza was good, but just your standard wood fired pizza in my humble opinion. We decided to check out Edera on a Friday night. We were looking for a heated patio but Edera changes their patio to heated chalets in the winter that you have to pay to reserve. We decided to just reserve for inside instead. The inside is dark and moody which makes for a great date spot. Our server was attentive and kind. They started us off with bread and drinks. The bread has a nice cheese crust on it and the butter is a little sweet. We also ordered the tomato and burrata. For mains I ordered the orecchiette and my partner got the pappardelle bolognese. Both were delicious and perfect portion sizes. The pesto on the orecchiette was so flavorful and salted just right. We will definitely be back to check out the patio once it's warm out. read more

Exceeded every expectation. My friend selected Edera for our girls night out and I am thrilled she did! First, my espresso martini was exceptional. I am very picky when it comes to EM's and it was delectable. The Burrata was savory and a perfect start to the meal. We shared a pizza and were not disappointed. Portions were perfect for sharing and I'm glad we did or we surely would have had over eaten for lack of being able to stop ourselves! Service was prompt, respectful, and elevated. I've heard a great deal of hype surrounding Edera and have only visited once several years ago, so I was excited to pay another visit. I love the vibe inside the restaurant -- I would describe it as classy and modern. The service was top-tier. Our waitress was kind, and a floater was quick to help us with a spilled drink. As far as the food, we left happy. The star of the show for me was the orecchiette, with basal pesto and topped with pistachio. The pesto was some of the best I've had in St. Louis, and the pistachios added a salty crunch. I added chicken to my dish which I was a bit hesitant because it cost $10. However, the portion was quite large. We also shared the pepperoni pizza and tomato and burrata. Both I would say worst standard. The crust did taste very fresh, but there was an overwhelming amount. I love burrata but the dish overall lacked flavor and wow factor. I left Edera full and happy. I definitely want to go back to try other menu items! read more

Forever obsessed with Edera and their outdoor patio. I truly don't think there is a patio that gives the same vibe as they do in stl. It's a piece of heaven in the middle of the city. I made a reservation because I just do that anytime I can. I always recommend doing it, you never know when a crowd can pop up. We were seated in the walls of flowers and leaves, it's nicely shaded and so comfortable. I ordered an NA spritz type mocktail which was lovely. We started with the chopped salad. It was full of goodies but still light and reaching. Vinaigrette wasn't heavy and added a nice flavor. For my meal I ordered the pappardelle bolognese and it was wildly good. I love a good pasta and the ribbons were wide and easy to put on your fork. The pork and rosemary were nice additions to the flavor! Always will recommend Edera! read more

Awesome spot with cool outdoor igloos in the winter! We stopped in for dinner and tried the lasagne and bolognese as well as a pepperoni pizza. Lasagna was the best of the 3! I honestly hate leaving reviews like this.. But this place is nothing to rave about. I tried to give it another go but it's just okay. To start, we had 3 different servers come up to our table at different times so it was a bit confusing. For apps we tried the arancini, Brussels, and the polenta. All were just okay and I'm not usually picky. I had the halibut for my entree and it was good. I asked for lemon to add a bit more flavor to it. My friend said her pepperoni pizza just needed more time to cook as it was a bit soggy. I brought my boyfriend home the chicken ricotta pizza and he said it was missing something... we pulled out red chili flakes, hot honey, franks red hot, and ranch and still it just need a little more oomf. Their smoked caesar salad is insanely good and the pizzas are always delicious! A very gentle mezcal and gin...so my vibe) and apps. It's hard to fully articulate how perfect the gnocci is. It's smoky, the cheese pull is as long as my arm....run do not walk as fast as the heels will let you We (went with a bestie) were happily yapping and our server came back to apologize for the length of time that entrees were taking and that he'd comp them. This is our second time at Edera and it looks like I never furnished my first review. Not sure why. I remembered it being good, but didn't remember specifics. The back patio is breathtaking! We took a lot of photos there. I do remember ordering the Orecchiette pasta and it was good. My fiance also ordered the filet mignon and really enjoyed it. We also had the burratta which was nice. This most recent trip was on NYE in one of the outdoor chalets. It was such a cute set up! Service was alright- not good or bad, just not super attentive being outside. But, the food arrived quickly. The kale salad was hands down one of the best salads I've ever had and most definitely the best kale salad I've ever had. I have been craving it ever since. I also ordered the special which was macadamia nut chicken. It was so thin and crispy with a very delicious and fresh arugula salad on top with olives. My fiancé got the lasagna and while the noodles were a bit too al dente, the flavor was incredible! Our friend got the braised short rib and said it was amazing. Right when you come in, the place immediately has an upscale, romantic vibe. We were seated in a comfy, cozy booth with plenty of room - an immediate plus with yours truly. Our waiter, Alex stopped by shortly after to introduce himself. I told him my husband was still looking for a parking spot and he left me alone until he got in. I appreciate that. I'm sure others would prefer to order a drink but I don't like to have the waiter come back numerous times for one drink order at a time. Just my preference. Anyway, when he found out it was our first time, he quickly explained some of the menu items to us and which were people's favorites. Then he told us the specials for the evening. After our drinks were ordered and brought to the table (I had a pinot noir and my husband had a cocktail that had some torched marshmallow), we placed an order of the aracini. There were 4 in a serving over roasted, garlic honey aioli and covered with freshly grated pecorino. Very delicious but also a little filling. I was hungry but I didn't want to fill up on our starters so I left one to take home while my husband devoured two. I ordered the fish special served with layered potatoes, and other delicious things I could not remember. My husband had the Capicola pizza. I really wanted to try it as it did look wonderful and delicious but simply did not have room for it without sacrificing room for dessert. My fish was excellent and as our waiter promised, came out tender and flaky, not at all dry. I ended up taking some leftover home which heated up really well for lunch the next day. Of course, I couldn't skip dessert. They had so many tempting options including a dark chocolate tart that he stated was a special for the new year but I went with the espresso panna cotta topped with some meringue crumble. So good and the coffee flavor is dominant which is what I was hoping for in an espresso dessert. Service was great, overall. Our waiter came by to check on us but not so frequently that it was annoying or distracting while we dined. Everyone was friendly and professional. I have no complaints. I'm glad my husband chose to take me here for our first Friday night dinner in 2025. It was a fabulous place with delicious food, and top-notch service. We decided to return to Edera's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love this place and the food is always over the top delicious. This time I ordered the Salmon and Brussels. The Salmon was cooked exceptionally well and served over garbanzo beans and other scrumptiousness. Brussel Sprouts were broiled with a nut topping. More food than I could eat and took 1/2 home. My husband enjoyed the pepperoni pizza and ordered a side of asparagus (see pic). Also all good. Service was wonderful. The restaurant is a little loud, however, we could still hear our conversation. We were walk ins tonight at Edera. We sat at the bar. The maitre'de told us on arrival that they have a packed house and it may take a while for the food and we were fine with that. However, That was not the case, everything came out in a timely fashion. We ordered their fabulous Smoked Caesar salad. We also had the Chicken Ricotta Pizza. It was cooked to perfection and the flavors were very complimentary of each other. Drew, the General Manager came over to us twice, to see how things were, reminded me of an old-school restaurant where Customer service was first and foremost. My wife and another couple went here for a Saturday, 7:30pm dinner inside their "Winter Chalet Igloo". Once we got seated, everything was top notch. We had multiple waiters and servers come in and check on us to see if we needed drinks or more food. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and explained each dish and drink with great detail.
