Went to dine here on a beautiful Friday afternoon on the patio. This place was completely full. Somehow my wife and I was missed by the waitress and sat patiently for about 35 minutes without putting in a food order. I waved at the owner Joey and he came over and took great care of us. Immediately got us drinks and put in food order to the kitchen. With in minutes, he came out with salads and refills on our drinks. French dip sandwich came out hot and fresh. Shortly after a delicious StL style pizza. After that he stopped by again and apologized and told us lunch was on him. Now I know why this place was so busy and full of happy customers. Great food and great attention by the owner. Cant wait to go back.

The service is impeccable. You will not find a more traditional STL establishment. Family vibes, everyone is so nice, you get checked in on a million times (but it's not annoying). This is a must go if you're in the area. Dimly lit, music playing, feels old school. It's just a vibe. We ordered the toasted rav, buffalo wings, house salad, and a pizza. Everything was super super solid. The toasted rav were hot and fresh. The buffalo wings were super saucy without being soggy BUT one thing to note. This isn't a traditional buffalo wings sauce so if that is what you are wanting this may not be what you want to order. It very much has a Buffalo flavor but has a sweetness to it - just something to keep in mind. The pizza was cooked perfect. Crispy edges. Not soggy or falling apart from the density of the toppings. The salad. If you're not familiar with Mayfair dressing you gotta try it!! So hard to find and they do it well. Everything was great. You won't be disappointed.

I visited here for the first time this week. I must say it was delicious, I've tried Uncle Leo's in the past and I them very much as well. I called my pizza in and I waited around 10 mins after I arrived. It came out pipping hot, my toddler and I enjoyed it. As far as ambiance, it's a bar scene with a few regular tables on the other side for sitting. 10/10

More like 4 1/2 stars.....Person seating us was very friendly, waiter the same ...had to wait a bit to place our pizza order, but it was fine, had a few pitchers of beer and two St. Louis style pizzas, okay toppings...karaoke inside, loud, loud trivia outside..kind of annoying, not enough to subtract a star...

First time here! Oh wow, impressed! Our waitress was awesome, very attentive. Loved all the family and Frank Sinatra pictures. I love pizza & this chicken delight pizza & Margherita are amazing.. Loaded and quality They have been around for 108 years this year, and it shows. We had the cannelloni bites to start, they were very good. The meat was flavorful inside and it wasn't tough on the outside. The red sauce was quality for dipping. We will be back. The family is still working there, generations carry it on! Oh yeah, they had a special going, buy one get one half off so of course that made any decisions for us

A truly local Italian restaurant/bar owned and operated by 4 generations of Failoni's, wow like 107 years! No frills decor, this is a place people regularly hang out with family and friends, eat Brick oven pizza and are served made to order drinks or cold beers by friendly bartend staff or table service. Overall, a 4.0+ experience having only tried fresh made thin crust pizza, house special Green Olives (sold by the pound) and plenty of cold beverages. Expect to pay $10-15pp for pizza, entree or sandwich, and they have plenty of apps, pasta, salads and more plus full bar. Pizza was fresh and flavorful; order your favorite combo and build your own with Provel OR Mozzarella only (for non-St. Louisans) cheese. We ordered Pepperoni & Mushroom, Sausage & Mushroom, and Ham/Green Pepper/Black Olives - all delicious! And the Rosemary Marinated Green Olives were AMAZING if you're an olive fan!! You won't go wrong at Failoni's for food, drinks or takeout. If you haven't been, and like a "local" feel, come by and check 'em out. And they have a nice back patio area for casual outdoor seating. Cheers, ENJOY!!

The best stl style pizza in stl. It is simply amazing. Crisp crust, savory sauce with a touch of sweet. Generous toppings and some amazing Italian sausage. Service was outstanding and the dive bar ambiance is exactly what I wanted.

Our first, but not last visit to Failoni's. We started off with onion rings that were crispy and delicious. We ordered the Joey's Fav. It is hamburger, onions, jalapeños, and tomatoes. . I think it is the only pizza we ever order from here.!!! Our waitress Amy was delightful.

I have yet to visit in person, but I've been ordering delivery from Failoni's for most of the year. All their food is amazing and has consistently been delivered so quickly that it's still warm and crispy when it arrives. For starters, I've tried their garlic cheese bread and the zucchini sticks. Both are scrumptious. The zucchini sticks are fried with a seasoned breading and served with a juicy homemade mariana sauce which has tomato chunks in it. The entrees we've tried are the spaghetti, pizza, and their pork tenderloin sandwich. The spaghetti comes piled high with two meatballs. There's plenty of flavor in the meat sauce and the meatballs; it tastes like it was simmering all day. The pizza in Saint Louis is a controversial topic I've learned over the years of living here. Failoni's has one of the best pizzas in the area, and I find nearly any pizza better than that one place... you know the one. Here again, Failoni's has a sauce not unlike the flavorful meat sauce of their pasta. I love my cheese - which is also why their garlic cheese bread is so divine- and this is a pizza where you need not order extra cheese to make sure it's there. There's no order in which I've described these Italian delectables because how could I rank them? The pork tenderloin sandwich which they call their Italian Steak. I'll admit, despite their solid reputation and outstanding food, I was unsure how this sandwich would be. Pleasantly surprised that it was so tender and the combination of cheese, juicy marinara, and the fresh soft bread with crunchy exterior from being toasted. This is food that I'd recommend to any local or tourist.

For those who don't know, Detroit styled pizza is known for its crispy corners and epic cheese pulls. We were greeted warmly upon arrival but wasn't sure what we wanted right away. The gentleman working behind the counter was very friendly and patient as we perused the menu for our selections and perused the very epic drink displays. They have non-alcoholic beverages as well as canned or bottled alcoholic beverages including full size bottles of wine. We settled on their new Hot Honey Hawaiian pizza (Spicy vodka sauce base, shredded mozzarella, fresh sliced mozzarella, bacon, sliced capicola, fresh pineapple, jalapeno, finished with a drizzle of hot honey, and topped with Red Hot Riplets) in Detroit style for our main. They also offer pizza in New York style, traditional hand-tossed and gluten free. Because we were dining in, we were offered complimentary garlic knots which were hot, buttery and came with a side of spicy vodka sauce - which by the way is delicious! Next, our salad came out. We ordered the Nuts and Bolts salad (Mixed greens, walnuts, cranberries, goat cheese, shaved onions, carrots, & raspberry vinaigrette). Normally, goat cheese gives me the ick but this goat cheese did not. I loved how bulky the salad was and filling it was shared between three adults. Our pizza came out (4 squares) easily shareable between us three. The cheese pull was there and the Red Hot Riplets on top, a nod to St. Louis. The squares were hearty as well. Each bite was savory, spicy with a little sweet. I love pineapples so I did wish there were more on there but nevertheless this pizza was a solid choice enjoyed by each of us. Lastly, we were offered complimentary cookie bars which were warm too. I will definitely be back!

Lots of tasty looking options to try in the future.

Got to the place to get the pizza, my husband went in to grab it and the man at the counter was rude and short with him. Also the place was empty so maybe we called in the order during a dinner rush hense the 95 min wait, again NBD. An employee pulled the pizza out tossed in in the counter and walked away. Then a younger employee walked up to the counter and collected money. I'm hoping the older man was just having a bad day, but being rude in 2 different manners is not a good look. When we get home and started to enjoy this pie half way into eating a slice was a nice piece of rubber, kind of looking like a hair tie or something. Now that's a huge turn off. They were incredibly accommodating when my husband asked for only half the pizza to have the toppings he doesn't like, no problem at all. The owner's son was there and shared a bit about the family history, telling us about his father and grandfather who started the place. That personal touch made our visit even more special. It added a bold, spicy kick that balanced the salty pepperoni perfectly. Cacio e Pepe: This was truly spectacular.
