Their technicians are knowledgeable and once one got stuck sorting a problem and he reached out to another technician who promptly joined him and together they took care of the issue. 3. They almost always come on time. Not always but almost always. 4. Technicians are not just knowledgeable; they are also pleasant and professional and good at explaining issues and options. 5. They stand behind their work! The not as good: 1. I twice tried to spend a bunch of money that involved a special order, and that didn't go well. The first time, the guy didn't collect a deposit so they never put the order in and didn't follow up with me. The second time (same issue) they sent an excellent technician in the early evening and while he got everything I needed planned, it got late so he said he'd call the next day to get the order input and collect the deposit. That never happened either. That was weird. It wasn't an inexpensive proposition (I needed a new lower panel for my door that had been damaged by someone closing the door on my car!) 2. My last appointment to make an adjustment was rescheduled 3x. I did not have an urgent need, so the rescheduling was totally fine, but there was poor communication and I did a lot of waiting around, and had to call myself to find out the plan. Very patient phone people as I was frustrated on the phone regarding the poor communication. So I think I would still call them for any needed service due to knowledge and general professionalism, but I'd be very insistent that follow through is promised. (I never did do the special order. I gave up. ) Hope that helps.

I relieved some "tension" on the door/springs and that appeared to help, but the door was almost too heavy to move after pulling the emergency cord to disengage the opener. I wanted to ensure that the door could move without the opener. So, I was on borrowed time with this device! When I investigated, 2 steel cables were both loose on either side of the springs. I thought the springs failed along with the steel cables. I disengaged the opener and confirmed it was ok. Now, for the repair, I did not have a clue who to hire! Well, after Google searches and some phone calls I found a repair facility that not only fixed my problem, but found and fixed other problems!!! I called Garage Doors Plus, LLC 270-745-0091 and spoke to David the owner on 6/30/2020. He suspected I lost 1 spring earlier, and the other went out on 6/29/20. He wanted to come out and inspect and measure. David arrived, analyzed problem, found other problems, provided an estimate, and mentioned that the door would probably be fixed that same day. David at Garage Doors Plus, LLC found my sensors were installed incorrectly and that could have been dangerous for small children, animals, or anything else lower than these 2ft high sensors. It's a code violation the way (###########) had installed my garage door when the house was built in 2008. David also stated, not only would his company fix my problem, and the sensor installation, but they would inspect the opener and gears to see if wear had occurred, and perform other measures to adjust everything back to specs. Later on 6/30/2020, Chris, the repair tech arrived and in less than an hour had the door working better than it originally did when we bought the house. Honest, hard working, thorough, trustworthy, are some of the adjectives which apply to Garage Doors Plus, LLC. They charged a very reasonable fee for their services and even went above and beyond what I expected. Please call them if you need service!!! Thank You David and Chris!!

Also = I'm still curious why I went from a 2-spring setup to a single spring setup. Only one of my two prior springs broke just the night before. Amit tried to upsell (e.g., your garage motor should be replaced especially since it was overworked from lifting a garage with a broken spring...even though an operating second spring was still working)...so I did not find his upselling credible. Amit also said that he could install a cheap spring made in a particular country that was not as good as a more expensive Canadian-made spring that I agreed to. When I asked him the name of the installed "Canadian" brand, he couldn't name it. Most disappointing -- I took a photo of my garage and contents shortly before Amit's arrival (to show my neighbors how I cleared out my garage in order to fit two vehicles as my city recently started enforcing no overnight public parking, so I had to organize my garage to fit 2 cars). After Amit departed, I noticed that my metal table frame near the garage wall was moved, stained with black grease similar to the stains left on my garage, and had a big dent. Again, I have before-and-after photo proof. (Table was pristine and not dented in the before photo.) I am disappointed. Will not do business again with this company and cannot recommend. If Amit was honest and simply told me he accidentally damaged my table, I would have likely told him that accidents happen and not make a big deal. Due to sloppy workmanship and not telling me that he damaged my property, I give this company 1 star. Look at my review history; I typically give only positive reveiws and refrain from saying anything negative unless it is a very negative experience.
