We called Real Garage Doors (Larry) to come inspect the issue and even though he wasn't the one who did the original work, he took the time to inspect and explain what was wrong, and even stayed to help us speak with the other company so they understood what needed to be fixed since we had warranty and paid a lot for the springs. Larry was knowledgeable, honest, and genuine! He made sure we were taken care of even though he wasn't making a dime from the visit. It is once in a life time opportunity to see a garage door taken down and replaced with a new one. So I sat outside the garage door and watched from beginning to end the whole time Omar worked. I can tell you that the special thing about Omar is how efficient he works. This is a one man company. He does his work all by himself while answering customers calls. One would think that this would distract him from his work. But NO! Because he is so fluent in his tasks on hand being so experienced after working so many years, he didn't miss a beat on his tasks on hand. They got done fast and with proper sequence. It's like he did this without even need to think about it. He completed his work on time too! I think the reason he could charge reasonable price lower than the big companies that have multiple employees to manage is because he is a one man company and he is so efficient that he can pass that efficiency to his customers without sacrificing the quality. I highly recommend Omar.

Here are some of the many green flags: - responds in less than 24 hours, often even quicker - solution oriented - budget friendly. He will offer low cost or free solutions before charging for work. In 2023, he told me to clean my garage sensors rather than incurring a $200~ maintenance visit which others charged. In 2026, he offered me several solutions before we decided it was best to replace the entire garage opener motor. - honest, family-oriented, hardworking, professional, thorough - he has weekend and evening availability (he's expecting his first kid soon, so this may change in the coming months) Ronnie has helped me twice in the last four years, and I would recommend him first to any family or friend with garage needs. 1. He helped in 2023 when I had issues with my garage door closing from a remote. Unlike many other groups, he recommended over Yelp messaging to clean my garage sensors, which fixed the issue. 2. A week ago, I messaged him about garage remotes not working again. We went through a set of troubleshooting steps. He came out for a free inspection (may charge if you live far away from the Fremont area). We determined that the opener/motor's receiver was no longer working. My options were $275 to replace the receiver in the existing opener or $500 to replace the whole opener. I chose the later, since my motor was considered end-of-life. While replacing the unit, he also installed better wheels and added two missing hinges to my garage door (that previous vendors neglected to address).
