This review will actually cover two services from Certified. The first one was about a year ago when our opener died. They replaced the motor, suggested considering a new door, but we just went with the new mother. Al did the install and it went really well. Fast forward a year later, the door itself (which is wooden) was starting to rot out. The motor install went so well that I called them again. Cong just replaced the door in about 6 hours and we finally have a completely new set up that's quiet and will hopefully last for some time to come. Cong took his time, and was careful and methodical, which I really appreciate. He made sure to grab me during key points of the installation to make decisions on exactly where I wanted things to be placed. Great service. Was able to get Alvaro out the next day. The wire in the spool snapped on our garage door. Alvaro and his coworker (sorry forgot his name) fixed the problem and while they were out we changed out the dated metal rollers and they tuned everything up. Replaced bolts and nuts where missing. Let's be real, often times when it comes to repairs and or construction it tends to take forever, many operators are not reliable, and many many of them do not abide by the schedule they tell you. (Not every single company but many). Closed the shop on Wednesday night came back the next morning and the door was broken, cable snapped, stuck into place. I called a guy I worked with before and he quoted be $1300-$1500. I spoke to my landlord and they recommended these guys. They were so quick and arrived on Thursday afternoon, gave me a direct quote of $1281 left and came back on Friday morning finished the job and charged me less than what was originally quoted.
