We recently replaced our garage door which was very old and broken. We got multiple quotes. Omar showed up on time, happy, warm, professional, and explained the options clearly with reasonable price. We decided to go with him. I like to see people work. It is once in a life time opportunity to see a garage door taken down and replaced with a new one. So I sat outside the garage door and watched from beginning to end the whole time Omar worked. I can tell you that the special thing about Omar is how efficient he works. This is a one man company. He does his work all by himself while answering customers calls. One would think that this would distract him from his work. But NO! Because he is so fluent in his tasks on hand being so experienced after working so many years, he didn't miss a beat on his tasks on hand. They got done fast and with proper sequence. It's like he did this without even need to think about it. He completed his work on time too! I think the reason he could charge reasonable price lower than the big companies that have multiple employees to manage is because he is a one man company and he is so efficient that he can pass that efficiency to his customers without sacrificing the quality. I highly recommend Omar. read more

Vaz Garage Doors - New garage door - Garage Door Services Near Me

Well, I've been having trouble with my new replacement garage door opener that I had replaced with a Chamberlain motor when the previous bar on my Genie motor was damaged. Apparently the other garage door company didn't use the correct powered motor on the new Chamberlain motor. Needs 3/4 motor power. Because my old wooden garage door is very heavy. I had a Genie that was handling the garage door for over 23 years. So I've been having problems ever since and had changed out the sensors and still had problems so I contacted Omar at Vaz Garage Doors and he came out and told me the the heavy duty bracket was bent on one side so he replaced them both and made sure the springs were heavy duty and thick enough to handle my garage door. To replace the door didn't make since since my door was insulated and the decorative replacement door that I would have installed was going to cost me about 7-8 thousand dollars and probably more with the tariffs! I appreciate honest contractors and I felt Omar didn't try to up sell me. 4th generation Niles Native -Kathy read more

I'm been a customer of Vaz and every time I need a repair on my garage door, I always call Omar. He always performs good service and quality work. My garage spring broke and I called Omar and he responded quickly. He will tell you the day and time he can come and check your garage. Unfortunately, when he came, he didn't have the right spring for my garage. He promised that he will get the right one and schedule again for the repair. He always texts and let you know when he'll become. When he came, he checks your garage and makes sure it was safe especially if you have a car inside. He only performs the service that has to be done and is very honest in the job he performs. Before this service, Omar changed my motor a couple of years ago and we were satisfied with the installation. The motor we got was very quiet and was installed professionally. As a repeat customer, I'm very satisfied with his service and professional work. He communicates well and is punctual on his schedule. I needed a fix for my garage and called multiple companies. 2 companies came by and shared to fix what was needed it would take between 1700-2200. Omar was the 3rd company that came and without me sharing the prices of the other companies, he looked at the work and shared the price. The price was not only cheap but what was needed and what other companies are charging me for were not necessary. I appreciated that he was honest and even gave additional prices for what else could be added or needed if necessary. Omar finished the repair in one hour. I appreciate his service so much and will recommend him to anyone. read more
