He replied to my request for a free quote right away and asked for details about the motor brand and model to better understand the issue. After I sent photos, he had me try a few troubleshooting steps, but the garage door still wouldn't open with the remotes. Ronnie offered to stop by the same day once he finished with another customer, which I really appreciated. He was kind, professional, communicative, and honest throughout the entire process. He explained two affordable options to replace the receiver and motor and mentioned that while the garage door had a sizeable crack, it could still last a few more years. He even suggested installing a steel rod to straighten the bowing caused by the crack instead of pushing a full replacement. He installed the new motor, including the steal rod. Some folks wanted a service charge to come out and take a look, but not OGD. We settled on installing a new opener on my primary door instead of trying to repair the broken one.
