ATTENTION !!! This is the BEST garage door company that services the entire Bay Area! Ryan is the owner and installer. I called him in the late afternoon and he came out the following morning. He installed two new springs on my roll up garage door, but does full service on whatever you might need. The best part was that his price was "half" of the three other quotes that I got, including a quote from Precision Garage Doors. I HIGHLY recommend Ryan with Doors on Demand! read more

Our automatic garage door opener has been broken for at least a year or two. Our landlord insisted that we call the manufacturer/installer for service, but they no longer service California. I reached out to Doors on Demand on a Friday night and Ryan came out and fixed our problem the next day. Turned out we were in desperate need of a tune up. He adjusted the tension springs, aligned the sensors, lubricated the tracks, fixed one of the rollers that had popped out, and did a reset on the motor. All for $80 flat rate. Great fast service and I'm happy I can actually start reorganizing my garage with the space from the driveway. read more

I had the sprocket in my liftmaster garage open shredded. Ryan brought the replacement, installed it and adjusted/tuned the entire garage door. It was a great value and he answered all of my questions regarding the maintenance of the door. Ryan is very personable and has a friendly attitude. read more

My garage door spring got broken and could not open the garage door all the way up. My neighbor recommended Doors on Demand (Ryan). Ryan is very friendly and honest with his work. He gets the job done nice and fast. He does not try to upsell anything. He thinks about solving his customer's issue at the minimal cost. I like how he is honest and checking thoroughly. I recommend him. He quoted reasonable price (way cheaper than those big service companies) and the quality of work is thumbs up! read more

Ryan came through for us big time when we backed up into our garage door one fine December morning. After the mishap, I reached out to another local business here (One Way Garage Door) and they came in and helped us get our car outside the garage. After which they quoted over $3K+ to replace the door. I wanted to evaluate my options and started searching on Yelp and found Ryan with all these amazing reviews. A short 2 min call and we fixed an appointment with Ryan for the next morning. He showed up precisely on time and had our door up and running in under 40 mins. While the dents and small scuff marks are still visible the door functions as good as before and I am not looking to change it any time soon. I have now saved $3K+ which was purportedly the only option I had as mentioned by the other guys who had showed up before him. Bottom Line: Hire Ryan for all your garage door needs in the bay area. I just can't say enough great things about Ryan and his business. The five stars he's earned here are very well deserved. His service is efficient. His prices are honest and fair. His interaction is very professional. Be patient when trying to call him. I suspect that he is the only one answering the calls so if you don't get him the first or second time, don't give up. This is the type of business that I love supporting and I hope he continues to thrive in this market. Thank you, Ryan! read more

My stupid garage door won't open this afternoon because the spring broke. I had to pick up my kids from school in few hours so I thought we were screwed. My husband couldn't manually lift the garage door. I called Ryan and found out his pricing is the most competitive and he could come right away. Score! The angels were on my side. Ryan cane alone and fix my 2 car garage spring. He did it so fast eventho he needed to move from the left side of door, to middle, to right, back to the left, then back to middle. I was in awe and I found out later that he's been doing this work for 20 years. No wonder. After he's done installing new spring, he was able to lift the garage door and said," you're free" lol I will definitely recommend him to friends and use his service again. He also sprayed W-40 on the metals. Our family is grateful for you and your help, Ryan - thank you! (It looks like he doesn't have secretary who will jot down appointments for him. The phone on yelp is his cell phone. When I called, he picked up the phone right away.) read more

Ryan deserves all of his 5 stars and more. Someone (me) backed into our garage while it was closing. He promptly picked up my call and was at our home in less than 15 minutes. He put our door back on its track and determined that we could replace a few parts. He was efficient, kind, and has a customer for life. Thanks Ryan! read more

Ryan saved the day! Service on Mother's Day! I am so grateful this business. Our newly installed garage door had been giving us trouble for a couple weeks and today it suddenly just made a loud noise and refused to close. Upon inspection, cables on both sides of the door had come undone and were all messed up. The door could not be closed! We called the original installer and they were of no help. We called another highly rated Yelp garage service guy and he was unavailable but highly recommended Ryan. We called and Ryan was able to come out in a couple hours. He was super knowledgeable, courteous and efficient in the repair. He solved this problem in less than 30 minutes. His rates were also super reasonable and worth every penny. Please call Ryan if you need any garage services! read more

My grandfather recently contracted with Ryan Celeste from Doors on Demand to build a customized garage door for his GIGANTIC steel structure. Although this project seemed a like a MASSIVE undertaking, Ryan gave him a quote, and started work immediately! Not only did he install the garage quickly, but the craftsmanship and his dedication to complete the project were breath-taking. My grandpa loves his new garage and (although he is in his late 70s) was so gitty to hop out of his chair and park his truck inside. Thank you Ryan for all of your efforts and making my grandfather's dream a reality! #ThankYouThursday read more

Our garage door was not opening and I called Ryan. He came home in couple of hours and took a look, and explained the issue with a reasonable quote. He quickly fixed it. Overall, a pleasant experience. He was friendly and professional, highly recommend him. read more

Our garage door was unbalanced when one of the wheels came off & the track bent. Reached out Ryan & he said he could come only after 3-4 hours which was ok as his rates are reasonable! He came down as promised & fixed the door in 15mins. He also helped changing the cable bracket as ours was pretty much at the end of its life. He also suggested options to seal the door as we had spaces between the door & the ground.. Also, he put lubricant & balanced the door perfectly! I'd definitely recommend. Reasonable rates & very responsive. read more

Ryan has not done any services for my garage yet but I had to write a review for his professionalism and flexibility. I called him late on a Saturday night because our garage door was stuck. It was the 3rd time after a recent replacement by another company. Ryan was willing to fit us in but the original company showed up. Ryan was very helpful in giving me useful information and graciously allowed me to cancel. Although I hope this 3rd fix will do the trick, I'm not certain. What I am certain about is having Ryan come out if it does have any issues. read more

Story: I've used Ryan's service before as the signal to my garage was weak. Sometimes the garage door wouldn't open when my car was inches from the door. I called Ryan and scheduled an appointment. He arrived on time and was able to help me out for a great price. He then came back a second time as the signal was still having issues for free. I would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone. The only slight caveat is that I did require his services for a third time about a year later. Unfortunately, he didn't show up at all on the scheduled day. I couldn't get a hold of him either. When I finally did get in touch with him a few weeks later we confirmed on a time. But about an hour or so before he called and let me know he was unable to make it again. I'm sure he's busy so I'm willing to understand. But you just have to be aware of this when making an appointment. Verdict: I'll call him again when I have a garage door issue. read more

This is the second time Mr. Ryan Celeste has come to our rescue after having knocked out garage door off track. I called him at 7:00pm on a Sunday evening. Even though it was late and he still had to complete his current job, he still agreed to come. He worked quickly and efficiently to fix the problem and get my garage door functioning again. Mr. Celeste was a life saver! The door was stuck in the up position and off track in three places. The emergency latch was stuck as well. I would not have been safe or comfortable sleeping in an insecure house. I am truly grateful for Mr. Celeste and I appreciate his willingness to help me. I taped his card back up on the inside of our garage door so that I can easily reach out to him if needed. I highly recommend this business! read more

We had an issue with our garage door where it would slam shut into the pavement whenever it closes. I told hubby to call a few garage repair places and see if we can get someone to take a look ASAP. He started off with this place and someone picked up the phone after a few rings. Hubby told the guy what was wrong and the repair man said he can come out in an hour. Since hubby was working, we scheduled the appointment for the next day instead. As soon as the repair man showed up, he took a look at the garage door and gave us a quote. We thought the quote was reasonable so we went ahead and told the guy to start working on the garage door. Pretty soon afterwards, the garage door was fixed and he even fixed the squeaking noise that was bothering me for a while. read more

If you want an ethical, honest, reliable, responsive, professional, call Ryan! I have a relative who was price gouged by another company named Quick Fix Garage Door Inc. yet, she called Kent's Door and Gate. My relative was charged $5,081, five times the amount quoted by Ryan ($1,095.86) and three other reputable companies. It's hard to find honest men with integrity. Ryan is honest and he has integrity. read more

Yesterday noon I discovered that my garage door no longer opened (it only opened up a few inches). After doing some research online I discovered that one of the garage door springs broke. Did a search on Yelp and Doors On Demand showed up as being one of the vendors closest to my house. Texted Ryan yesterday at 8pm for a quote. He sent a quote at 9:30pm for $350 for two springs. He then contacted me at 10:30am this morning to arrange a time for the repair. He came at 1:30pm and was done by 2:00pm. So far pleased with the quick turnaround time. read more

Ryan is awesome and an expert in Garage doors. One of the spring of our garage door broke all of a sudden so we got in touch with Ryan. He accommodated us the same day given we had an urgent situation. Changing the springs is a complex task and watching Ryan do it effortlessly was a treat. He also fixed one of our rollers which was misaligned and also screwed one of the struts which was coming out at no extra charge! Ryan installed a new garage door opener for me a number of years ago and I have been very pleased with it. The other day it wasn't working properly so I called Ryan, he asked me a few question, then he told me what the problem was and how to fix it myself. I am so pleased that he was honest with me and didn't try to take advantage. To me this honesty is the kind of person I want to do business wit! You rock Ryan! read more

It was 6PM on a Thursday evening when my MIL's garage door just decided to get stuck and refuse to close. It looked like the cable had gotten stuck. Called around to find someone who could repair the issue but everyone's earliest availability wasn't until the next day. Then I found Doors on Demand. I got an estimate over the phone, repair guy came out shortly thereafter, and had the garage repaired by 8PM. The final total reflected what was originally quoted and it was less than all the other quotes we had received from other repair companies. Thank you Doors on Demand for your quick, honest work! Highly recommend Ryan for garage door need. As other reviewers said he is very honest. While all other garage door dealers told me to replace the whole garage door system, Ryan said he can fix it with mushroom bold. Also, my neighbor paid $400 to $600 for emergency spring replacement, Ryan told me he only charge $240, if it is at night, he charges $280. I end up replaced the whole garage door system, as it is nice to have insulated garage door and child safety break. We got the Haas door 670 with Synergy 370 for quiet operation. Update: after Ryan finished the job and leave, husband notice the rail on one side does not align well. Contacted Ryan, he is willing to come back to fix it, great customer service! read more

Quick, honest, respectful. Ryan (owner) carries 2 great openers (1 high end and 1 basic workhorse, made in Germany, which we went with on our rental). He explained the differences and why the current Genie (installed in 2010) was having repeated issued - the Genie and it's side-of-garage placement, due to a structural beam, were both problematic. And it's soooo much quieter (our guests and foster kids will appreciate the lack of noise since the guest room is above the garage)! Thanks, Ryan and Actor, for rebalancong and installing a new opener so quickly (under 2 hours) as well as explaining everything and being so personable. read more

We came home from vacation and were unable to open our front door. We entered the house from the rear and opened the front door from the inside, but then were unable to keep the door closed. Having a door that won't close in the winter would not be good for our PG&E bill. We have a double door model and the door had gotten out of alignment by a fraction of an inch so the latch no longer matched up with the slot in the other door. The misalignment was only 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch, which is more difficult to adjust than one would think as changing the angle of one door caused it to hit the other door. Ryan was patient and tried a number of techniques which cumulatively fixed the problem. We are happy with the result and the price. We will use Doors on Demand again for future door problems. read more
