I received a birthday certificate via email from Eden's Pathway. I got a darn-good pedicure, for FREE, and the service provider was incredibly professional, calming, and friendly. The exterior atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, but the interior is undergoing renovations that I'm hoping will help the management create the type of environment that meets the level of service they are providing (which is excellent). I'm rooting for Eden's Pathway, and am hoping that on my next visit the atmosphere will be even more relaxing and polished. I was intrigued to find that they offer yoga classes in the facility. The cost is $15, which is pretty standard, but the class size is typically pretty small so yogis can get some close-to one on one attention to improve their practice. Thats cool! read more

I think this place deserves a nice review. I used a Living Social deal to get a seaweed body wrap and facial here. As I pulled into the parking lot, I was a little skeptical due to the strip mall setting. Unfortunately, it looks like a strip mall spa on the inside, too. Ambiance was nowhere to be found, and the walls were decorated with what was clearly someone's first time sponge painting... with yellow paint, at that. Fortunately, the experience greatly surpassed the decor. The smaller room for the spa treatments was actually nice and cozy. My esthetician, who I believe was the owner, was very sweet, professional, and personable. The body wrap was a little different than I expected (it was my first one though), but still relaxing. I purchased the living social deal and unlike some of the reviews on here I was able to actually make an appointment. However, I kind of wish I hadn't. As soon as we walked in we were seriously off put by the HUGE empty space in the lobby and the seriously awful paint job they have. Where are the couches and music and tea/water like a normal massage place? This was by far the worst massage I've ever had. My sister and I came here together, I got the room that is clearly regularly used for their waxing services because the chair that they try to pass off as a massage bed, was NOT EVEN FLAT. It was a heavily reclined CHAIR and I had to lay on my stomach on it. Not comfortable. On top of that the ambiance was non-existent. They had all the lights turned off and a bright neon light (USED FOR WAXING) turned on. The "relaxing" music was so loud I couldn't relax at all. The actual massage, equally bad. I would be seriously shocked if this girl was a licensed massage therapist. I thought I was being too critical but when I came out and asked my sister how hers was she also had nothing but complaints even though she actually had a flat massage bed. She said her actual massage was painful and she felt actually more sore. We laughed about it the whole way home but I'm just saying - DON'T do it. This is NOT a spa. read more

I am in awe at the lack of customer service at this place. I purchased a Groupon and was trying to make an appointment for a date over a month in advance, I called with no luck to get anyone on the phone for over 2 weeks. I finally contacted Groupon when I didn't know what else to do. I told them the situation and they gave Edens Pathway my contact information for them to call me directly. Never got a phone call! What kind of company is given the opportunity to fix a customer service issue and just blows it off? So unprofessional. I finally just took a refund of Groupon credit to be done with this company. read more

I had the pleasure of visiting Eden's Pathway last night for a girls' spa day. Oh, the fun we had! Katrina and her staff went above and beyond to make our visit soooo relaxing. I am not a major fan of spas. Weird, I know. I have been to so many spas expecting an incredible experience only to walk out severely disappointed (yes, Spa at The Wit I'm still NOT happy with you). I did not leave Eden's Pathway disappointed. The spa moved to a new location lady year. I did visit the old location awhile back, and this new location is definitely an upgrade. You can tell Katrina put thought into creating a peaceful environment for clients. Anyhoo, I arrived at my scheduled appointment time and was warmly greeted by the owner, Kartrina. She's truly a sweetheart. She offered us magazines, water, bananas, and granola mix while we waited for the third person in our party. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the third person in our party could not make it at the scheduled time. I really appreciate Katrina's patience. We felt so bad for delaying our services by at least 30 minutes. For my spa services, I opted for the Sweet Escape package which includes a back massage, facial, and an express mani/pedi. I started with the massage. OH. MY. STARS! The massage was incredible. The masseuse put in some serious work to get the knots out. Even the day after I notice a difference and feel ah-maxing! Next, I had my mani-pedi. The manicurist was such a sweetheart! My feet and hands were in need of some serious TLC. She did a fabulous job! My feet are happy again! Next I went in for a facial. This is the service I was least excited about because every single time I've had a facial I walked out feeling as if the life was sucked out of my face. My skin would always be dry and irritated. Katrina made me a believer in facials, again! From the steam to the rhubarb mask, my skin felt great! So smooth! I appreciate Katrina being flexible once again and allowing me to throw in a last minute wax! I implore you to give this place a chance. You WILL NOT be disappointed. I've been to spas with all of of the desired aesthetics, but the services were horrible and overpriced. These places don't even match the positive and peaceful experience I had a Eden's Pathway. Not too mention, the incredible price! When I saw my total, I was shocked. I felt as if I should have paid way more for quality and care of service I received. We seriously had a blast!! This is my go to place for all my manicure , pedicure , and massage services. Trina and her staff were very warm in greeting me when I entered. The atmosphere was calming, the music was peaceful and serene. I got a wonderful pedicure.l!! I had stopped having acrylic nails put on and I thought my hands were just always going to look ugly. I discussed this with Trina the owner, and got a manicure. I have never liked my nails so much without them being fake lol!!!!! They actually look nice. My nails are growing now and I'm very proud to be wearing my own nails for a change. I have also gotten the massage services. The table was comfortable I felt the room had the appropriate amount of light. The music was quite relaxing in fact I think I might have fallen asleep a little bit during my massage which is great because it's probably the only time I relax that much. The staff was very kind and offered me water when I was finished with my massage. I appreciated that because I had left mine out in my car. I sat for a while and just listened to the music and relaxed for a little while after my massage and wasn't made to feel like I had to hurry up and get out. I believe this is a wonderful place because its not noisy, and although there might be other people getting services there's not 5 people doing nails or pedicures at one time with all the people running around and not paying attention to what they are doing. I feel like I have one person that is concentrating on me and I appreciate that. I must also say I don't go here because I have a coupon or anything like that. DO NOT EXPECT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I booked a massage for my wife with a discount I received under my name. It did not say that it was non-transferable with the discount offer I received or when the massage was booked (this is supposed to happen, like when you get an airline ticket, they inform you that it is non-transferrable). They did not tell my wife that she would not receive the discount prior to the massage... only after. I called to talk to the manager but poor business knowledge did not allow for her to understand the legal implications of not communicating their policies to their customers, nor did she care to even try to understand. Instead, she started yelling in the phone. REPLY: Katrina is being honest with what she said in the response. However, there was no intended deceit on our end. If it had stated on the discount that the service was non-transferable, then I would have known that I was "deceiving" them. Unfortunately, their communication was improper as this was not stated anywhere, so I could not have known that I was deceiving them. When I tried to tell her that her communication on the discount was improper, she started yelling in the phone. This is still HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. No one should talk to their customers like that. No one deserves to be treated that way. CLEARLY SHE BELIEVES THAT HER DISCOUNT OFFER SHOULD STATE THAT IT IS NON-TRANSFERRABLE, OR SHE WOULD NOT HAVE CORRECTED IT. Since she made the mistake, she should have offered to correct it and let us use the discount as written. Rather, she attacked me. This is not what anyone should have to deal with. Though I support small businesses, sometimes businesses that aren't professionally run give small businesses a bad name. This is one of those cases. read more

I purchased a Living Social deal for this salon. I was never able to use it due to the uncooperative and rude staff. They were unable to get me in for an appointment for 2 months after I purchased the Living Social deal. I find this hard to believe because I have never heard of this salon and I do not know anyone else that has ever gone there. I purchased the deal in October 2010 for a pumpkin manicure and pedicure. They were unable to get me an appointment until Christmas Eve because they had been "so busy." They clearly do not care about keeping clients or making the client happy. They should have never been on Living Social if they cannot accommodate the clients. I would NEVER recommend someone choosing this salon in the future. It was a waste of my money read more

My friends and I discovered Eden's Pathway about 5 years ago and we loved it! They offer a monthly Girl's Night Out that truly lives up to it's name. It includes an atmosphere of fellowship and camaraderie while you choose 3 of 5 services for a very reasonable price (sample mani, pedi, massage facial or wax). We loved it so much that we included it as part of our monthly get together of dinner and pampering. In addition, I enjoy the one-on-one attention of having a full massage, garden pedicure or even a polish change. I have since included my daughters and they love Eden's Pathway as well. They love that the ladies at this spa are so personable. They make my girls feel special. We enjoy the atmosphere of sisterhood at this spa. read more

I had the same problem that Carrie did. I too purchased the Living Social deal and was never able to get an appointment. I called several times and they never answered or called back to the messages I left. I finally left a message saying that I was going to try to get my money back so they finally returned my call. They were not able to get me an appointment any time that would work for me so I waited a few months and tried again. I had the same experience as the first time. Since no one would call back my friend, who also purchased a deal, went to the salon to try to book an appointment. They were very rude to her and not at all helpful. We finally ended up having to call Living Social and get our money back, which is not something they like to do. I read more

It seems we regulars are negligent in submitting ratings, leaving the resulting reviews to those who visited Eden's in the past and were not pleased for some reason, or to those who just popped in for a discount. Katrina and her staff have provided excellent service to me and my friends for many years, and every visit is a treat. I know I am one of many who would not go elsewhere. Since most of the ratings are at least two years old, I strongly recommend a visit to her Lake Plaza location for a wonderful experience. read more

My friend purchased two groupon deals for us to enjoy a pedicure/manicure together for Christmas. Being two busy moms, it was a much anticipated treat. Upon arriving at the spa, my friend was told that the "notes" said it was for only a pedicure. However, the groupon was for both services. Even after many exchanges, the lady did not offer to make things right by the groupon and reschedule for the manicure at a later date. Our option was to get the pedicures today and ignore the manis or reschedule for both, which is terribly hard for us to do at this time of year. No one told my friend over the phone that they only had time for the pedi's that day. She would have figured out a different day. Bottom line, when you pay for a certain service, you should get what you pay for. Not a way to earn new clients in my opinion. I won't go back. However, I will say I felt the pedi was ok. I would not say it was worth $50. I have had better and paid less. The lady was kind once she got past trying to prove to my friend what the "notes" said. We still had a lovely time together but really felt others need to know make sure when you go you know what you are getting up front because they are not willing to accommodate their clients or honor what the groupon states. read more
