I have loved this place for many years always getting the same thing. Well I guess one visit can really ruin it for you. I went with my family for the same thing I always get chicken Marsala well this time the sauce tasted almost burnt defiantly different then the other 100 times I've had it so I told the waiter who sent over a manager which is always nice but in this case nope. He treated me and looked at me like I was just one of those people who complain. I even had my father in law who never complains a day in his life and he said him self it was burnt. Well the manager took it back and instead of saying let's make it again for you asked can I make you something else since this is how we serve our chicken Marsala. Since I felt I had no chance at asking for a re make I just went with something else. I'm super upset because we have had family birthdays in their party room many times spending thousands and just to get treated the way I did I was in shock. read more

Love Eden Cafe but the bathroom smells bad and the floor is dirty/sticky. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.

The name of the restaurant doesn't impress me at all. I thought it was a "cafe" for a long time and finally decided to give it a try. It's ...what? Italian?!!! It was packed on a Friday night. PACKED. We arrived before 6pm and had to wait for at least 15 minutes. After we sat down, there were a lot more people waiting. Our food cooked well and seasoned well. It may not be the best we've ever had, but it is definitely on our go-to list. FIY, if you have little kids, it's a good place to go. read more

My first visit but won't be my last. The place is clean with pleasant staff. The food was incredible. My wife had their fish tacos, she says they are the best in the area. I had their fish and chips, it was very good. Fresh cod in a nice batter cooked a dark golden brown. Since this was our first visit, they offered us a free dessert. We had their strawberry rhubarb pie, it's freshly made by their chefs and it too was delicious. The manager came over to greet us and make sure everything was to our liking. We were very much looking forward to trying a new breakfast place. We went in and were seated right away, but two other tables that came in after us were seen before we were. We even went to the hostess to let her know that our waiter/ess hadn't been by yet and still no one came. Needless to say we won't be back. The service was terrible. read more

My husband and I tried Eden Cafe for the first time last week. We highly recommend it - great, high quality food and service, reasonable prices and a relaxed and home-like atmosphere. The bruschetta, salmon, and chicken marsala were all fresh and delicious. We live in Houston but we will go back for sure next time we're in the Magnolia/Woodlands area. read more

We have come here consistently for the 3.5 years we have lived here. Friendly staff, great food, never had a bad meal here! Excellent local place. The burgers, entrees and especially the daily specials are all delicious! The only downside for eating there more often is they need a lunch menu. The pricing isn't bad at all for dinner or a date night, but it's a bit on the steep side for lunch. But as far as food and service go I highly recommend it. read more

My daughter and I went to Eden cafe for lunch today. We both loved this place for good food and courteous service but NOT today!! Very disappointing!! My daughter's grilled chicken salad was very dry and strawberries look wilted. But what is most Gross was that while I was eating my salad, I detected a motion next to my plate and it was a cockroach!!!UGH!!! I was so grossed out and the manager and the waitress came by and I explained that there was a cockroach and I had to kill it with my napkin but both were I guess so shocked that neither apologized to me or to my daughter but rather asked me if there was anything else I wanted?!! Incredible food & service with the warm feel of home. We have been coming here from California for the past 10 years. This is a must when visiting Magnolia. Our favorites include the Sweet Potato Casserole (amazing), Chicken Marsala, Blackened Catfish, Laura's. Salad, & Fettuccine Alfredo. The owner Ulises is so welcoming every time we see him. We recently had Dustin as our waiter and he was so attentive. Our food arrived fast and we had a party of 6. Very good food as all the other reviewers noted. Seniors get a 10% discount. The tables are a bit crowded but are managed effectively. The best part of the dining experience is the wait staff. Love love love the talapia fish here! It is seasoned perfectly! The spaghetti and meatballs are awesome and the salads are fresh. The waiters are nice and efficient. The only downside is that there are so many tables in such a small place that everyone's conversations are loud because you are so close to other diners who are also talking. First time at the Eden and before walking in the front door my mother fell and three people from the restaurant came out and helped her up. When we came in and sat down one of the women helping brought a bag of ice and wrapped her knee. In a dark world to see such wonderful people help my mom is very refreshing. read more
