What a lovely park! I honestly only stopped by because I took the wrong exit off the highway but when I noticed it, I had to stop. I'm pretty sure I only adventured through part of it but what I did get to experience was lovely. There was plenty of parking, benches to sit at, kids playing basketball on the courts and playing on the jungle gym. I walked up to the beautiful fountain and did a lap, just soaking it all in. I loved looking over the stone edge at the top and looking out. I definitely needed to clear my head that day and this did the trick. There's also so much more to do close by. I know I'll visit this park again soon and I hope to explore even more of it when I do.

This was such a beautiful park; and I'm thankful that when I went to visit it with my cousins it was such a nice day. We started over by the pavilion and had to snap a pic on it because that's where my aunt and uncle got married. Also learned what a monkeys brain was, because I had never seen one before, at least in indianapolis. Then we walked around and checked out all of the views and the lower part of the park, which I was told was recently redone. It was cool to see the painted lake on day I will get an Ariel shot of that. This is a beautiful and well maintained park; I can't wait to check it out again soon.

Eden Park is absolutely one of the most beautiful spots in the city. I'm posting springtime/summer photos with this review because I'm really missing the sunshine right now. Living in Mt. Adams is an experience on its own, but having Eden Park within walking distance makes you feel like you're stepping into a different world, just minutes outside the city. This beautiful park has no shortage of walking paths and greenery ... and is a great place to bring your kids or your dogs. In the warmer months, it's also a nice spot for some al fresco dining, especially by Mirror Lake. They've also recently expanded the park's offerings ... with the addition of Tom Jones Commons. This little playground/basketball court/grassy area brings so much more to the space, and opens up the family-friendly fun even more. The only tip I have for anyone who's never visited ... don't expect to have the place to yourself! This is a beloved Cincy favorite, and you might have to stake your claim on the perfect picnic spot early in the day!

Eden Park is gorgeous and has a great location above the river, providing several great overlook opportunities. Throughout the area are playgrounds, benches, picnic tables, and the like. Mirror Lake with its fountain is a gorgeous centerpiece with a nearby gazebo. It is also home to several great places to visit, including the Krohn Conservatory, the Cincinnati Art Museum with its new Art Climb, and the Playhouse in the Park. We really enjoyed visiting Krohn, then using the stairs to check out one of the overlooks, then heading over to the art museum and Art Climb for a wonderful morning on a brisk, but sunny day! It's so nice that all of these great attractions are located so close together.

This park covers quite a variety of settings on a hilly section of the outskirts of the city. Free parking is available in several areas, and you can walk some paved trails, view an overlook of the river, or visit facilities including a reflecting pool, greenhouse, and an event stage. It's quiet, but is just across the highway from the city's downtown. It's hard to imagine that the terrain could be put to much better use.

Eden park turned out to be a wonderful place to spend a good chunk of a long summer day in :-) The Krohn Conservatory was great, as was the Presidential Tree Grove. Even better - the views from the bluff of the river and the area surrounding it were nothing short of breathtaking! My only complaint is the fact that there's an excessive amount of trash to be found all through this park. The levels of garbage everywhere we went distinctly detracted from our overall enjoyment of this venue. What's the solution to the trash problem? The most effective one would be for people who visit here to pick up after themselves; the next best thing would be a more agreesive pickup/cleaning schedule by the maintenance crew.

Eden Park is a lovely park in Cincinnati! Beautifully maintained in landscaping with lovely lakes and flowers its perfect for a spring stroll! Also has great birdwatching and is connected to the buckeye trail! The krohn conservatory is also within the park! There's some mild litter from other park goers (please be better) but overall it's a lovely spot for people watching, taking in the river, hiking, and also basketball!

Eden Park is an important part of Cincinnati culture. It's a humongous park along the river. This features lots of green space and trails. It also has several buildings within it. The park has so much it has to be visited a few times. It is so big it has several roads that go through it. It's accessed by several ways, but one of the best is Fulton Avenue. This takes you right to the middle of the park, and there's some parking spots there. In the middle of the park is Mirror Lake. This seems to be one of the favorite things about the park. It's surrounding by walking paths that lead to other areas. The other popular site is the Museum of Art, located in the western area of the park. It's all kept pretty clean. It's good for anyone who likes arts or exercise. There's good parking spots along the main roads.

2nd park we went to during Coronavirus outbreak. It's a nice park, after we park the car opposite to the park restroom, there is an uphill paved path to the top of the park area where you can overview the Ohio River and the city. Very nice view. When you walk down the path, you will get to the road, across the road there is a bridge, but it's a dead end. Then you walk the other direction, you could get down from the hill and get to the mirror lake, walk around the lake, see the ducks, very nice actually!

WOW! I love this park so much! It has to be one of the best spots in all of Cincinnati. I had heard of it before from my grandmother, who was born and raised in Cincy (OTR) and lives in Fairfield now. She's pretty much a walking encyclopedia of anything & everything having to do with Cincinnati. Now that she's almost 90, I find an attachment to the city and want to try to experience things that she experienced when she was younger. So when I was staying with her and my Papa for 1 full week at Easter, I looked up some places to run in downtown Cincy. Although Eden Park is a 35-40 min drive from Fairfield, the pics sold me and I knew I had to go. I went around 8a on a weekday morning. It was overcast and sprinkling. But the gloomy weather didn't stop me. All told, I ran 4 miles weaving all over this park. Every turn was SO much fun. It was like an adventure just anticipating what could be around the next corner. I had parked at the Spring House Gazebo (more on that later), ran around Mirror Lake, into Tom Jones Commons, past the Krohn Conservatory, into Hinkle Magnolia Garden (another gazebo spotting!), under and over the Melan Arch Bridge (with the Stone Eagles!), the Water Tower, Twin Lakes, and two magnificent views of the Ohio River via the Overlooks. Seriously, this was one of my favorite runs I have EVER done and I have been running for 7 years now. Just so much to see! I hated to go, but I had to get back. As I was leaving, I really wanted to spend time in the Spring House Gazebo. It was special to me because my grandma has had a painting of the Spring House Gazebo in her house that's been there my entire life. It was painted by my step-great- grandmother. I took some time to go into the Gazebo, sit around, take pics, etc. Well it was kind of weird, but after I had been in there a little bit, I felt "off." I almost stood on top of the ledge to get a pic, but after looking down, I figured that wouldn't be the smartest idea. I sat on the ledge wondering "wow this Gazebo has been around for over 100 years. I wonder about all the people who have come and gone through here..." As I was thinking this, I got a kind of eery feeling and just felt weird. Even though I had an amazing time, I felt this odd feeling that I needed to leave the Gazebo. I can't explain it, other than it felt like I was intruding on the Park and it's silent magnificence. (I'm obviously struggling to put this into words).... BUT later that night, I was googling something on Eden Park and I saw a book popped up called "The Ghosts of Eden Park." It looked like a novel, but I clicked on it to see if it was referring to Cincinnati's Eden Park. Sure enough, it is a true-crime non-fiction book about the most successful bootlegger, George Remus, (who happened to live in Cincy- who knew?!) and how he killed his wife, Imogene, right outside of the Spring House Gazebo! My mind was blown. I knew I had to buy this book immediately. I did purchase it and read it in 9 days. It's a fantastic read for anyone who loves history, the 1920's and Cincinnati. An incredible story that I'm shocked hasn't been made into a movie yet (oddly enough, it could appear as a Great Gatsby rip off, even though it's entirely true). After more Google duty, I found out that many people claim to have seen the ghost of Imogene Remus in or around the Spring House Gazebo.... So if you've read my review this far, then I appreciate you for sticking with it and allowing me to voice that my eery feelings at the Gazebo are substantiated. All ghosts aside, I would LOVE to go back to Eden Park next Easter when I'm back in the area.

There was a trashy feeling at the mirror lakes overlook. The conservatory also charges an entry fee.

A wonderful location to view the bustling activity along The Ohio River Trail, and a place to gather and celebrate as a community. The park boasts multiple water play features, giant swings, an interactive foot piano, an imaginative play area for kids, expansive pollinator gardens, and Carol Ann's Carousel. Several historical monuments can be found like the Black Brigade Monument and the recently dedicated Marian Spencer Statue. I was on a roadtrip and my family dropped me off in downtown Cincinnati and I gravitated to Smale Riverfront Park because I wanted a place to explore nature and see river views. I explored the scenic walkways along the Ohio, flower gardens, fountains, public art, picnic spots, and plenty of space to just chill. One of my favorite features were the riverfront swings, big, bench-style swings tucked along the water that are perfect for kicking back and enjoying the view. They're surprisingly comfortable and such a great spot to unwind and reconnect with your inner child. The park has amazing views of the Roebling Suspension Bridge and Ohio River are worth the visit on their own, the paths are wide and great for families, and there's lots to explore without feeling overcrowded. There are splash zones for kids, places to sit and picnic, and tons of photo ops.
