What a beautiful green space along the bank of the Ohio River. It's perfect for watching the paddle boats dock, just down the way. There is a place to have performances and a memorial to lost children. The park seems to be a beautiful addition to the local community. read more

A small community park along the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. How close the park is to the river depends on the river's water level. Park offers a little something for everyone. There is a half court for basketball, a playground, gazebo, paved walking path around the park, and green spaces. There is also a memorial. Several places to sit (benches, low wall and grass,) are available to sit and watch the boats on the river. On a cold February afternoon, the park was quiet. We easily were able to walk around the park twice, and not have to worry about coming in too close contact with others. Parking is available along the street. read more

Bellevue is such an underrated part of town and this park is certainly no exception. Located right off of Fairfield avenue, it's a quick drive, but sometimes parking can be tricky. The other reviews really hit the nail on the head in therms of the views, there are some truly picturesque photo-ops. There's also lots of nearby dining choices in case you want to do a riverside picnic with some local grub. It's typically pretty quiet, but there's a walking path and plenty greenspace. I even saw someone who found a spot to hammock - I'll have to keep that in mind, it seems like the perfect spot to hammock with a book. I try to regularly explore new parks and Bellevue Beach Park is definitely going to find a spot in my rotation. read more

We discovered this park very recently in our neighborhood. Great place to come in the evening and enjoy the beautiful view of Ohio River and a lateral view of the Cincinnati skyline. There is a children's play area, many benches, and a walking path. There is a street parking which is pretty much available all the time. Overall, a great place to enjoy your mornings and evenings. read more

This park is a gem! Easy parking, great views, away from traffic, lots of seating areas, great people watching. Each time I've come there's been a great mix of young, old, and in-between enjoying the park. There's tons of cute signs giving parents ideas of ways to use the park to interactively teach their kids - games like What rhymes with tree? or How many things can you find that start with the letter 'G'? My parents were in town during the week and I took them here for some scenic picture taking. They also really enjoyed driving through the Bellevue neighborhoods and seeing the old architecture and landscaping. Grab some tasty treats from either Schneider's Sweet Shop or Three Tiers cupcakes and eat them on a bench overlooking the river :) read more

Located directly on the Ohio river bank, this attractive little park in Bellevue was built in 2000. The well-maintained area contains playground equipment, park benches in the shade, basketball courts, a gazebo, and even a place for outdoor concerts. The view of Cincinnati, especially the Mt. Adams area, is great! In the summer months, the city of Bellevue hosts a free monthly concert of performance. According to the City of Bellevue web site, the park was selected by TV Channel 5 viewers as one of the top five parks in the tri-state area. read more

I had heard about this park but never bothered to check it out and of course forgot about it. On a recent Sunday Funday with my boyfriend, we ventured here. "How did we not know about this place sooner?!" Seriously, this park has a great view. It has a nice grass amphitheater, playground for the kiddies, picnic tables, hoops for the basketball players, a walking path and the important facilities for, well you know. Only 4 stars because the street parking can be a challenge. I also had to avoid a couple of landmines in the grass. Pet parents pick up after your fur babies please. read more

I hesitated just a bit as to whether I should review this park. You see, Bellevue Beach Park is a close drive from downtown Cincinnati, and my kids love to play there. Most of all, it's very quiet and quaint. It's really one of my favorite neighborhood parks in the metro area, and quite frankly, I don't want a bunch of you Yelpers ruining my peace! Luckily, I'm not that selfish, so I decided to share. As other people have aptly described it, the Bellevue Beach Park is a real hidden gem. It's tucked on the back residential streets of Bellevue, and if you didn't know it was there, you could easily miss it. The park has all the amenities of a great neighborhood park. Convenient, meter-free street parking is all along Ward Avenue. There is a small playground, basketball courts, and multiple seating areas (a gazebo, benches, picnic tables, etc.). The park also has a short, paved walking trail, ample trees and green space, and a rustic, outdoor theater. For me, the highlight of Bellevue Beach Park is the view. This park sits on the banks directly across from the International Friendship Park, and it has, perhaps, one of the closest, least obstructed river views of any of the park along the Ohio. My kids love how close barges and boats are as they pass. I love looking west at the golden hued I-471 bridge and downtown Cincinnati. Overall, it's very scenic feeling for a city park. I highly recommend coming here for a casual walk, a picnic lunch, to let the kids run off some steam, or just to take in the gorgeous view. Just, you know, not too often... read more

This park would have been my ideal as a kid and is my ideal as an adult. If I ever had to move from Bellevue, this would be one of the things I'd miss most. It's a public, city park that, from what I can tell, was designed extraordinarily well. There are sports courts, a gazebo, walking paths, a little amphitheater, plenty of grass to run across all on the banks of the Ohio river. One cool summer day I walked down to it and read a book on one of the benches. Every so often I'd look up to a barge hauling coal southward, pleasure craft zipping about, Mt. Adams staring back at me and with the wind just right, I could hear the crowd cheer the reds at Great American - I could definitely hear the fireworks when someone knocked off a dinger. All while my kids played on the gym equipment. And unlike most parks now-a-days - it isn't inhabited by junkies and/or homeless of any sort chasing off the taxpayers. Even if you don't live in Bellevue, you're welcome to come and hangout. read more

I am a huge fan of this park. Not only is is walking distance to all the shops in Bellevue, but the views are fantastic. Mt Adams is lit up at night like a little village on the hill. Come by just before dusk for an awesome silouhette of the skyline painted with the cincinnati sunset. There is a playground for the kids (or the young-at-heart) a walking path loop, basketball courts, and even a little outdoor theater stadium. The park itself is a pretty small area but it packs a lot of punch! read more

What the heck happened to this place? Obviously the flooding is nobody's fault but aside from that, the park used to be so clean and cared for. Now there's just dog shit EVERYWHERE! Not to mention the goose shit. And the one or 2 people there with their dogs off the lead. This is a public park. Take your dog to a dog park if you want him off the lead. Really inconsiderate of others. That seems to be becoming the new normal. read more

If you're just a big kid and don't need to run off energy there are plenty of benches that are just calling out to you! One of my favorite suburban parks, Bellevue Beach is a straight shot across the river from Cincinnati and provides one spectacular view of the sunset. While sky gazing is my #1 activity here, I've also enjoyed free monthly summer concerts in the park's pavilion, Shakespearean plays, and went for a ride on the swing set. There is plenty of lush green grass as well as playground equipment and a basketball court. Feeling snazzy? Check out the gazebo. This quiet neighborhood park is a wonderful place to take a stroll, read a book, or entertain the family. It's not usually busy but has a lot to offer. Even when the Ohio River floods and submerges the park, it makes for a beautiful photography opportunity. Rain or shine, this place is worth checking out. read more

No beach to speak of unless the sand with old tires and concrete scraps next to river counts The grass is mostly sharp and thick with some soft areas. It's great for overstressed parents with unruly children. They can zombie out while kids are safe. Signs warn to stay away after storms since sewerage mixes w rain during heavy rain. This is a great spot if you ignore the aforementioned oddities. Good for veterans. Lots of flags and urns. read more

Love this park. Great place to toss the Frisbee and watch the barges go by. Sometimes they have music and art shows there on the weekends. Giant cottonwood trees provide nice summertime shade. read more
