Great local park tucked away. Baseball fields, a walking path and basketball hoops. This place was great for a short walk. I'll come back next time I visit Edgewood.

Really nice, clean park. Our 2 1/2 year old twin granddaughters loved everything about it. Love the soft play surface!

This is a nice family park. The playground equipment is in generally good condition and my entire family enjoyed the spot.

This park is a nice one. It's a pretty long stretch of road off of 3L highway. There is one way…read moretraffic in and out. When I'm into Pokemon go, I drive around in circles spinning poke-stops and doing gym battles. That is when I would go most often. There are nice trails to walk. For the kiddos, there are multiple playgrounds, a basketball card, baseball fields, and shelters you can rent for parties. The best part of this park though is the creek. We have fun in the creek when it's warm. My kids love catching crawdads when it's warm out. I loved it as a kid too. I still have fun, especially watching them and how happy they are. Pictures will always be great memories. The only bad thing about this park, is that they took out the dog park! The dog park was so nice. There was a section for small dogs, and a section for large dogs. My dog had fun and so did I. I loved getting to play with everyone else's dogs. It was also great that it was so close to the Kenton county animal shelter. I hope they bring it back someday.

I photographer was also crouched down in the water. He taking pictures of the geese with their goslings. There were quite a few birds at this park. We also saw finches, and black birds with bright orange wings. The trails are paved. There is a layer of fine sand that covers much of the trail on the side across from parking. The trail is pretty level on the parking side. There is a playground, but we did not venture over to it. There once was a dog park here. A sign indicates that the park was closed "due to reoccuring damage." The sign also states that they are looking for an alternate location for the Paw Park. Rigt now thw area is a giant field. Dogs must be on a leash at this park. Many people were there with their dogs, including us. When passing eachother, people were using good doggie etiquette. People were picking up after their dogs as well. I took away a star due to the amount of trash. There were a couple of used diapers, cups, many cigarette butts and feminine hygiene products. These were more on the parking side, and many were near the water. Across the river was much cleaner.

There are two shelter areas that are in good shape and restroom structures which is always nice over a port-o-let. The playground looks fun, but since I don't have kids, I will leave that to someone else. There are ballfields and large open spaces of grass. The trail that wanders in the woods has good traction, is wide and well maintained. It has some seriously steep inclines and hills but isn't overwhelming. It's not super long, but good for a walk with the dog or a family looking for some outdoors. There is a gorgeous creek bed that runs thru the area giving a nature photographer plenty to shoot. The disc golf course is nationally recognized and is well maintained as well. There are 24 holes to play. Many of the holes are long and challenging with ravines and trees and narrow fairways. This is a course for the skilled and novice alike. I would say the novice should stay on the front 9 but there are plenty of holes after 16 or so that are playable for the novice as well. Overall, this is a versatile and well maintained park that I encourage anyone to visit at least once.

I visited this place based on my Roadside America App (great app for finding weird and unusual…read morestuff on and off the beaten path). It is beautiful and we enjoyed the visit of the things on the property as well as the view of Cincinnati from the property. Upon posting my photos on Facebook in an album dedicated to the places I visit based on the app, I was reported to Facebook and my photos removed. The only thing I can think is they didn't like my skepticism of their claim that angels showed up at night and built the big cross. I was skeptical also of stones claiming to have come from The Good Samaritan Inn. But with further research I realized this could be true. If they had contacted me to discuss the issues rather than having facebook remove an entire post I spent half an hour working on and tagging, I'd have given them five stars. I did ask if it was "earth angels". That I would have believed. So, Five for the garden itself. One for the folks running the Facebook page. As the Roadside App says, it is worth a stop. Just post only positives or you could go to Facebook jail.
