Wow, what a fun creative park for the kiddos. The younger kid play area consisted of small houses that were adorable. There was a zip line which is always fun for any age. The main play structure is 3 stories with so many creative play elements including two very tall slides. There was an AstroTurf hill for sliding which also provides an excellent vantage point for parents to see the kids. There is also a fun maze, and of course, swings. My kids had a blast here.

came with both boys on a hot Saturday afternoon..and this park is definitely one of the best ones they have been too!! This park starts out with a maize kids can run though and on the other side starts the play ground. What makes this park unique is the zip line-like structure the kids can ride. I've never seen anything like it! The park itself resembles a large tree house and has many slides for kids to slide down on. There is a nice covered area for parents to sit and watch kids play and assist in escaping the sun. There is a water fountain at the front of the park with bathrooms and also has a plug available in case you need to charge your phone. My sons favorite part was the zip line and I think they rode it 100 times. Too bad this park is In cincy as we are from Columbus. Next time we are in town we will definitely be back!

West Fork Park is amazing! There is so much to do. There is no way that I am going to cover everything in this review. From crawlers to preteens, everyone seemed to be having a blast. The zip line was a huge hit with the older kids. It is much larger than zip lines we have found at other parks. This made it quite popular. The line moved quickly. For the most part, the older kids did a good job taking turns, and only going once per turn. The little play houses are more than structures to climb in. They have many interactive parts to move, and explore. There are also small ramps and steps for climbing, and a small slide. In the same area are large scale percussion instruments. There is a rainbow/ multicolored maze. The way the light hits the textured panels makes them glow. It is a bit magical. The maze is small enough that younger children did not seem to get overwhelmed by it. Older children seemed compelled to give the maze a try. When then emerged, the older kids seemed to get a kick out of how easy the maze was. At the center of the park is a towering play structure. There are so many ways to climb up the structure. There are also numberous slides, and ways to get down. Different levels for different abilities. The structure has a woodland/ nature theme. There are tunnels, swings, and additional places to climb. Pro tip, bring cardboard to slide down the AstroTurf hills. This park is mostly about the play structures. If looking for a park to play ball, ride bike, play Frisbee or anything else of the sort, this park is limited in space for that. It is intended as a place for children to play. The picnic areas are shaded. The shade provides a welcome break from all the sun. Most of the park itself is not shaded. I would suggest lots of sunscreen, and water. Everyone in our group loved this park.

This park is so great! I have a small active toddler, who always is on the go. Despite being very young, there are many appropriate objects for her to climb, hit, sit on, walk around, etc. I love that they have a small section off to the side for toddler size kids. Of course- my kid didn't want to be relegated to the baby size, so she had to check out all the structures. If she could climb ladders, she'd have gone down the 3 story slide. We're not quite there, but she enjoyed climbing around the lower levels of the big tree playhouse. There are so many great features of this park: the colored maze, the color whirly as you walk in, the AstroTurf hill with pipes through it. The rope spiderweb & of course the zip line! The only thing it could use is more swings, particularly for toddlers. The one they have is in high demand! This park has something for kids of all ages!

Great playground activities for kids 2-12 yrs of age; but some parents should be supervising their kids.

The kids like most of the features in the park, but love the zip line above all else.

It sounds like a wonderful idea for older kids that can handle all heights, twists and turns. But for the younger kids, it's stressful. Why? Because what toddler doesn't want to climb 15 feet high on the smallest width ladder at the playground? Yes, there's smaller gyms for the toddlers up front but I always see the young ones running for the huge gym which just stresses me out. I'd honestly skip this park if you're with your 1-4 year old. For older kids, this looks like the real deal. It's clean, there's a big covered picnic area, swings galore. I believe you do have to pay sometimes but I really don't know. Each time I've been, the gate has been open and we walked right in. Other times, I believe they close the gate and you have to pay at the building. Highly recommend calling ahead of time or looking online. Clean, safe, fun overall!

There are at least three other playgrounds in the neighborhood. While it's proximity is one of its perks, I also prefer it just because it's got a lot of options for my two little ones. It's suits them both very well - one a wild four year old boy and the other only a recently walking 23 month old. They offer the parent-baby joint swing, the large plastics swings meant for toddlers, multiple climbing structures of various sizes, a little "elevator" as we've called it, a few slides a large structure that spins around. Very cool! Perfect place to come with a picnic and play. Afterwards, walk down the street for a scoop of ice cream!

It is well maintained with beautiful landscaping. I have seen the neighbors helping to keep it that way by weeding the flower beds and picking up any trash. Not that I ever see much trash. It has a charming old fashion water fountain. This past Saturday my grandkids age 2 and 4 years old really needed a drink of water. We filled the bottle up several times. There is a metal picnic table. You are surrounded by flowers as this park has so many flowerbeds. There's a long swing set with swings for everyone old & young and small and large. There are 2 jungle gyms with multiple slides, several ways to climb up and interactive activities like a telescope and metallic beads on a spinning wheel. The small curving foot pad staircase is a favorite of my granddaughter. With bars for swinging on, a beam to walk across and 2 domes for climbing on top of this park can keep the children happy for hours. The only problem might be getting them to head back home! There is only one issue with the equipment. The footpad elevator ride from the platform of the larger jungle gym to the ground is broken. The neighborhood is always nice and peaceful. Also #udf is just up the street for a treat of #icecream. I more than highly recommend this park in #northside. Until next time be kind to each other. @yelpcincy #playgrounds #cincinnati
