First time in Eden. Was super cool. Loved the vibe. Clean. The drinks were good. Di was good. I mean everything you could expect from a hookah lounge. Got the white gummy bear flavor hookah. I visited here for the first time to catch up with a friend I've known from High School. Location is ideal because it's free parking and tucked away in a plaza. Real chill spot I went on a Saturday night. Comfy seats, clean, attentive waitresses and staff. I didn't try the food yet but the wings looked yummy. I like the music selections which varied from American to Caribbean and African. I actually got up and danced a little which I never do; but it could have been due to the STRONG drinks! Came here on a Sunday with a friend to enjoy some hookah! Didn't know I would leave so happy. The lounge is decorated beautifully with huge TVS, a nice bar area, and plenty of beautiful couches. The bathroom was very clean and it has a beautiful setup outside to eat and smoke hookah. They play a different variety of music to jam to as well. The hookah is reasonably priced - I think $20 whereas most places are starting at $25 and up! The drinks were reasonably priced as well, and Mina(I recall...I might have it mixed up) was a GREAT bartender/waitress. She was very attentive and knew the answers to everything. She was also very beautiful and nice - most girls at these lounges in ATL have the WORST attitudes. The real winner was my food! I ordered the shrimp and chicken pasta....wow. The chef Mike sure knows what he is doing! Every bite was so cheesy and it had an abundance of shrimp and chicken. The pasta also had the perfect amount of sauce - not too much. I've patroned their Sunday brunch & for casual hooka on weekdays. To put, It's one of those places where I go out of...group obligation. The service is terrible. Both times I've gone the staff to clientele ratio was 1/1 but still they moved at a glacial pace. Of course the girls had the biggest smiles when they came over so I couldn't even be curt. Lol. The space has a very cold/warehouse feel. Maybe this works for their club nights but eating brunch at a knock-off industrial space isn't cute. I came here on a Monday afternoon with a group of friends to do some early drinking. The decor was very elegant! It's a great place to come and watch games and etc. The food was amazing. I ordered the chicken tacos and they were full of flavor. You get 3 for $12 which is reasonable. My friend order the Chicken Alfredo Cavatappi pasta and it was so good and creamy! It tasted amazing. I will leave pics but they won't do much justice lol. The food also came out extremely fast and hot and there was absolutely no complaints. I've been looking for a nice chill spot to just wind down after a long day of teaching so I yelped this spot and since the reviews were 4 stars I figured I couldn't go wrong. Well, when I walked in I was disappointed because the floor was dirty, the furniture had holes in it, and the walls were dirty with marks, gum, and other remnants. But I was happy to see there were a lot of plasma screens and a projection on a wall with the NBA playoffs playing on them. I really enjoy a place that has a lot of tv's with sports playing so that gave the place some extra points. But the real reason I stayed was because the pictures of the food were really enticing but imagine my disappointment when my server told us that the pictures on Yelp are old and the menu had changed. It went from Lamb Chops, Chicken Harissa, Lettuce Wraps, & Short Ribs to Cheese Quesadillas, Wings, & Sliders. Typical bar food. I was hungry so I decided to stay and give the new menu a chance. Despite the changes, there is an upside to this place. While you wait for your food you can get a great Happy Hour (5pm-8pm) special on Hookah and drinks. The Hookah was only $10 and the mixed drinks were $7, $6 glasses of wine, & $3 beer. We moved from the couch to the bar so we wouldn't have to reach down for our food. The bartender, Janet, doubles as the server and I must say she's top notch. She's a really good mixologist and was just really cool and down to earth, which made the visit more pleasant. BUT I was extremely appalled when the drinks and food were served in plastic cups and styrofoam to go plates. What in the family reunion backyard barbecue is this??? I couldn't believe it...It was just so unbecoming. But luckily the food was tasty because I was going to walk out. I ordered the Chicken Sliders with an Aioli sauce and Fries. It was good...either that or I was really hungry but I would order them again. I really liked the Forbidden Fruit cocktail. It had Hennessy, Grand Marnier, OJ, & Grenadine in it and I ordered 3 of them.lol I hope that management takes some time to do some sprucing up of the place and invests in some dinnerware and glasses. Even the website is misleading because all the dishes are so well prepared and are on plates. The drinks are all in different glasses. It's really misleading and disappointing. My daughter and her friends were seated and then during the meal were abruptly & rudely told they had to move. The atmosphere was loud so initially the message didn't register. After being forced to moved (their plates were being removed) to another table, they were informed that after 10:00 the tables are reserved. There is NO health score posted near the bar, so I'm unable to report that. Came here on a Friday, August 4th for a co-workers birthday kick back. It was very easy to find on my GPS. I'm trying to make a habit of starting with the positives, so here goes: The drinks are INCREDIBLY strong; like, literally, the liquor is not measured. The plastic picnic cups they're served in have just the right amount of ice, lots of liquor and good flavors. I ordered 2 Ciroq punches, a bottled water, a peach hookah with a hookah refill and a shot of Don Julio. My bill was around $55, which to me was extremely affordable. The lighting is really groovy. The temperature is kind of cold, but considering the amount of liquor in the drinks, I see why the AC was blasting away. For a Friday it was empty when we initially arrived, after about an hour, it started to fill up. Very chill environment. Those were all of the positive aspects. The negatives were: The bathrooms are DARK, as in almost no light. The overhead light bulbs were flickering. It was so dim that I could not apply any makeup in the mirror. From what I could see and smell in the bathroom, it was clean, lots of hand towels and tissue. The customer service here is lacking. I had to get up every time for a refill of hookah, a drink, napkins, etc. The young lady that helped me each time was very polite, just not attentive at all. One of my co-workers ordered salmon sliders. They were disgusting. For starters, it came in a styrofoam to-go box. The salmon was so thick, the bread was soggy and sliding everywhere from the tartar sauce they applied. The lettuce was too wet. Overall, the slider was a disaster. The fries were just fries. The DJ is non-existent. It was literally a guy walking up to the DJ podium a few times every 30 minutes playing mostly Dancehall. They do take requests though which was good. The food pics from yelp are not accurate. The menu for those food pics don't even exist anymore. It's mainly burgers, fries, wings. Overall, I did enjoy myself, I was in good company. But there is a lack of professionalism, attentiveness and attention to detail at this place. It has lots of potential, but seems to lack management. It kind of feels like a family owned thing. The employees were behind the bar smoking hookah the whole time as well. No sense of urgency in the place at all. After bringing us our food, our server went right back to what she was doing without checking on us once. We had to get up every time we needed something - napkins, water etc. The food was not too bad for a bar. I had the grilled salmon over rice and my friend ordered the burger w/ fries. I felt like the salmon was overcooked and my friend's burger came with some sort of sauce on it that she didn't like. To add insult to injury, the place was freezing! I completely agree with another reviewer who eloquently stated that she thinks there's a lack of professionalism, attentiveness and attention to detail here. I really wanted to like this place, especially after seeing it had a high rating on yelp. The attendant first brought out an outdated menu from which I had made an order, when she later realized the slip up. Then I changed my order to the angus burger to which she said they were out. So, I changed my order again to the buffalo chicken tacos and chicken sliders. When we finally got the food, we were extremely disappointed. First, they were presented in to go boxes- not a big deal. More importantly, the tacos nor the sliders were tasty. They sorely needed some type of sauce (not just the ketchup and ranch that were provided). From that point, everything went down hill. The service became slower and slower. We repeatedly had to get another waitress to call our original waitress. We kept having other employees come to our table and pit various items (several cups, bucket, napkins). We asked what this was for but we were just told that they were preparing for the night. Preparing for what??? And why don't they prepare AFTER we leave? And the music progressively got louder and louder the longer we stayed. OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD! Some of the reviews stated this was a great romantic spot- not so! The worst part was when we received our check, there was a 20% gratuity added to our bill. If you like burnt food served cold, this is the place for you. The portion size is also rather inadequate for the cost. Do yourself a favor and just go to McDonald's and the liquor store. My friend and I have came here twice and we really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is nice and the music was A1 both times. The food is excellent. Everything is perfectly seasoned, down to the fries, so if you want somewhere with really good food, this is the place. The first time I had the beef short rib with rice and a side salad. No complaints. The last time I had the same thing just with grilled chicken. Both were great, can't choose my favorite one though. The hookah was cool as well but the drinks were a little high.
