Went back to give them another try since I was in the neighborhood and this time got a PhillyCheese. Really good! Staff was super friendly as usual, and they definitely made up for last time. I am sure it was a one off. I'll be back soon! read more

Cheesesteak and Italian hoagie were beyond AMAZING! And coming from this Philly girl and her hubby, Eddie did not disappoint! How much we missed those rolls and that cheese, you brought that taste of home back, that my husband didn't even put ketchup on his cheesesteak and that's saying something to how great it was! We will be back on the regular. Can't wait to try the cheesecake. read more

My wife and I just shared a Philly steak and cheese hoagie sandwich. Absolutely delicious. The next time we come we want be sharing, we'll be ordering 2. These guys know how to make a Philly! read more

Next time I'll take a pic before inhale the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had. We had the traditional with beef, cheese, onions and a tangy tomato based red sauce (red sauce is found in a specific area of PA). I don't have anything else to say other than I think we found a new gem! read more

Great cheesesteak! Good flavor and not greasy, he uses beef tallow for fries instead of seed oils

Owner is a character, in all the good ways! Loves his customers and is proud of his business and his business practices. He's doing everything right, including the rolls, meat and all the extra Philly stuff, including Tastykakes. Birch beer and...Philly pretzels! Next time I'd order a Philly with chips cause the fries didn't do much for me AND there all sorts of PA chips there. A great, positive time. Costs a little more cause he's importing it all, getting deliveries daily. We'll totally be back. read more

We thought we lost our all time favorite cheesesteak sandwich chef forever when he unexpectedly left Philly's Famous. Last night we stumbled into a new cheesesteak joint with great reviews - EDDIE'S PHILLY... Figured we'd check it out since it was so close to the other place. Unbeknownst to us... Who walks out from the kitchen... Our Eddie - Our all time favorite cheesesteak sandwich chef!!! He has ventured out and opened his own restaurant just a few months ago! We were so excited to see him as he us! It felt like Christmas Day!!! You see... Eddie is a proud man. He takes pride in every sandwich he makes. He takes pride in flying in the freshest bread from back east and only using the finest quality meats! There aren't many restaurants that the owner is also the cook and cares about what his customers are eating. Yes, Eddie works 6 days a week! You can actually see the joy it brings Eddie when you praise his creations! The restaurant is new, very clean and quiet except for the clink clink clink of the spatulas on the grill chopping the steak. I have lived in Arizona since 1988. I'm from Long Island and my family is from Pennsylvania. I know how hard it is to find good food out here! Lol! If you want a REAL sandwich... A REAL Philly cheesesteak... Eddie's Philly is the REAL deal. I can't say enough! ADDITIONAL REVIEW FROM A VISIT A WEEK LATER: In fact, I'm gonna say more... We went back on August 30 to see Eddie! We love their cheesesteaks but wanted to try a different sandwich - so, instead of a side of fries or onion rings we ordered another sandwich to sample! We tried the corned beef sandwich on rye. The cheesesteaks will always be our top choice but OH MY... That was the best MOST TENDER corned beef I've eaten west of the Mississippi! The only change is I would ask Eddie to heat it up. But it was simply amazing - with all the fixings you only get in New York! Next week we will try a "side" of pastrami sandwich with our cheesesteaks! I overheard Eddie telling a customer where he would go in Philly for a good cheesesteak... Delassandro's Steaks. I felt compelled to interrupt since we were just there in July. We've been to all the "popular" Philly cheesesteak spots in Philadelphia with Delassandro's being our favorite go-to spot. But honestly, we have to go to Arizona to get a REAL Philly cheesesteak at Eddie's Philly. Unfortunately, all those popular spots in Philadelphia have gotten too touristy, too commercialized and frankly, have become just a sandwich assembly line! At Eddie's Philly each sandwich is made to order and the quality is outstanding! I've added some more food porn pics for your viewing pleasure! read more

Saw someone reviewing Eddie's on TikTok and they highly recommended, so my husband and I drove from Queen Creek to Chandler to try it out. Not only did the cheese steak and hoagie travel well back to QC but while waiting for our sandwiches the owner and employees were super friendly! This is the BEST cheese steak sandwich IVE ever had!!! We will definitely make the long drive again soon!!!! read more

The best, everything about this place makes you want to come back again and again. It's the best in the valley. Don't go anywhere else for a Philly just come here. Nowhere in the valley compares. read more

My fiance went here yesterday, and I'm writing a review because he can't speak highly enough of this place! He says it's a local shop run by a husband, wife, and their daughter and they couldn't be more welcoming. They also fly in their buns from the east coast to give you that true cheesesteak taste! He said it was delicious, and he was most surprised that by the time he got home to eat it, it was still piping hot and absolutely fresh. Will be back to try myself! read more

Steak and cheese sub outstanding staff very friendly!! Did take out and it was made fast and freshly hot!!

Cheesesteaks were very good. We'll be back there again. I wish I took pictures but I was too busy eating

The best Philly cheesesteak you're going to find in Arizona. Eddie is the owner and he'll break it down for you as to why and what makes it so great. Long story short, he's from the east coast and imports alot of his ingredients in. Amaroso rolls because it's true, something about the water and weather makes the rolls superior to anything you find here. He's brushing the hand shaved meat for the sandwich with beef tallow so you know it's legit. I got the mushroom onion w American and a little bit of whiz and it was 10/10. They have tasty kakes and Utz/Wise chips. Everything about this place takes you back east. No fancy frills just quality ingredients made with love. I would go out of my way to grab a Philly cheesesteak from here - Check this place out read more

Being from the Philly area, I'm always on the hunt for a real cheesesteak and I finally found it at Eddie's Philly & Hoagies! After reading the great reviews, I had to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. The restaurant was spotless, and Eddie and his team were incredibly friendly. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with onions, Cheese Whiz, and Eddie's homemade sweet peppers--absolutely phenomenal. He even uses authentic Amoroso rolls, and all the ingredients are flown in straight from Philly. The taste test? Perfectly seasoned meat, melty cheese, fresh rolls... hands down the best cheesesteak in town. I was genuinely sad when it was gone and wanted more! Eddie's Philly & Hoagies is the real deal. Don't waste your time with Philly Famous, Eddie puts them to shame. Trust me, this is a must-try spot, and I'll definitely be back! read more

Food is fresh and hot. Eddie makes sure the customer is happy. Highly recommend you give it a try.

Eddies is a hidden gem! Hands down the best cheesesteak around. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients. Some are even flown in daily, and his meats are from a local butcher shop. Not frozen Sysco crap. The owner Eddy is a funny guy who always has a story, and is very passionate about his sandwiches. read more

I was on a little vacation, I was looking for a good philly, I will tell you that eddies philly in Chandler was phenomenal. Stopped at Eddie's Philly Cheesesteak today, and let me tell you... I am such a sucker for a good cheesesteak. They're so hard to find, and usually I have to load them up with sauces just to get them to taste the way I like. We sat down, and I even asked my husband to go grab some sauces before the food came out. But when they brought our plates, I decided to take a bite before adding anything. And WOW. Absolutely to die for. The flavor was unreal. The cheese-to-bread ratio was perfection. And it wasn't soggy at all -- not even at the last bite. Truly perfect from start to finish. I cannot rave enough about how amazing this cheesesteak was. Family-owned, delicious, and honestly one of the best I've ever had. Customer Service is top notch just as amazing as the food a must go try! Eddie you and your team are amazing! Thank you will be back. read more

Sandwiches were delicious. Love the bread it was serves on, super soft. Owner was very attentive and made the right recommendations.

Eddie's has the best cheese steaks! Everything from the bread, to the meat, to the amazing chipotle sauce is of heaven. The owner is friendly as can be and I have never had any issue from the staff other than them being so friendly I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm awake. I am greeted with warm welcomes and huge smiles and incredible smells. The prices are great in this economy and the portions leave me satisfied. read more

YUM!! first of all, the owner was so so so nice and welcoming. i felt a little bad as we came in kind of close to closing time and picked it up to go. He invited us to stay and eat in which we would have but had to get home to our dog. Cute little place hidden in the back there decorated in all kinds of Philly memorabilia and he has a bunch of iconic snacks from the east coast. told us a little about his background in Brooklyn and how he ended up in AZ. truly 10/10 for service and atmosphere. The food was AMAZING. We split a Philly cheesesteak and a meatball sub. the meat was so so good and not at all dry like you find at some places. the bread was so good! the meatballs were huge and the marinara sauce was 10/10. Most definitely will be back and will be bringing friends read more

Amazing food. Everything is made with TLC. Owner is very friendly and obviously loves what he does. You won't be disappointed

Hole in the wall. Food was very good. Owner was friendly, place was loud. Could use a little detail in the cleaning. Top of the water heater needed to be cleaned when I went to the Restroom -it was an odd jaunt, outside, around back and back into the kitchen. read more

Wow! Tried this for the first time today. Had no idea such a place was 1 mile from my house!!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner is great. So much pride in his food. I particularly loved that I could order from the kids menu. I always find a 6 or 8 inch sandwhich to be way too much, so I appreciate the option to get a 4 inch sandwhich! I got the Philly with mushrooms and peppers, red sauce on the side. Didn't end up using the red sauce. Didn't need it at all! The bread is soft, the meat, juicy and tender! Hubby got the Eddies special with chipotle and also had to get the regular Philly. Added all the things: onions, peppers (sweet and hot), red sauce on the side. The onion rings are amazing and the potato wedges are perfection! We will absolutely be back! Thanks Eddie and team! read more

I don't think I've ever left a food review in my entire life for any restaurant. But this place has the BEST Philly steak in the entire Phx Metro area. Hands down read more
