I very much appreciate Dr. Kim's detailed dental check since my teeth have been sensitive on one side. Previously, Dr. Kwon suggested that I would need a root canal and crown sooner or later, so I was so glad to know that I didn't need to have any special treatment done this time and that I just needed to brush lighter and with a softer brush. Dr. Kim is also very caring and observant of issues and needs I may have. The dental hygienist Esther also did a great job cleaning my teeth. She has been cleaning my teeth for a couple years now. She friendly, gentle, and patient. The receptionist was friendly as well. She booked my next biannual cleaning rig HR when I checked in. They can be hard to book sometimes, so booking in advance helps a lot. Got a goodie bag with a toothbrush and toothpaste after my cleaning. Glad they had toothpaste for sensitive teeth available.

I was very nervous before coming in since I had never had tooth extraction/implant before. Dr Suchak has decades of experience and he is practicing very responsible dentistry. The other staff are also very friendly and considerate, especially Jasmine who I initially contacted, she calms me down and she is friendly every single time I visited. The oral surgeon of this office Dr. Apel is a renowned instructor in UCLA Dental School so you know you are in good hands if you need extraction/Implant done here. For the whole procedure from tooth extraction/bone graft, to implant installation/phase 2, until crown, I had no pain during the procedure (although keep in mind you will feel some expected mild tenderness after procedure as your gum/bone heals and settles, so remember to take the prescription dr. give you). And the implant feels like natural tooth since completion. For my other general care and concerns, I often see Dr Om who graduated from Arthur Dugoni Dental School which is a very well known institute producing many leaders of dentistry on west coast. He is very personable and patient and he treats you like a person instead of just a id number. He took time and gave me clarity before each treatment and I really appreciate that. The 2 front desk ladies Joselyne and Selina (hope my spell is correct) are also very helpful and efficient, it's comfortable to talk to them about scheduling and other logistics questions. With my love for adrenaline-driven adventures, I can say I have a brave soul. And yet, I am a total wuss when it comes to dentists and I would come up with all kinds of excuses to avoid that anesthesia injection. But Dr. Marin's professional but friendly demeanor can put the most anxious patient at ease. The rapport he has with his patients is what sets him apart from all the other dentists I have seen. He takes the time to explain things and he is never in a rush to get to the next patient. Today, I finally came for my filling and as expected, I was asking for the numbing gel before I even sat on the chair. But Dr. Marin's hands are so light I didn't even flinch from that dreaded numbing injection I managed to avoid for months. He's also great with kids! And when you're a parent with a scared child, that can make all the difference. I also would be remiss if I don't acknowledge Dr. Marin great team. They are courteous, friendly and always accommodating. I have never had a negative experience dealing with any of them. And my, are they on top of appointments! Dental visits are never fun. And that's why finding a dentist like Dr. Marin is all the more critical. Kudos to him and his staff for taking care of my family's dental care all these years. Please don't retire.

I also have a lot of dental anxiety and am terrified of needles, but Dr. Kouz, Ann, and Arvin have always been reassuring, patient, and comforting throughout every visit. That alone should tell you how much trust I have in this place. Even though the name has changed from Dr. Gregory Robins Family Dentistry, the heart of the practice has not. The staff is still the same, and that consistency really matters. They accept my insurance, including Medi-Cal, and I never once feel like I'm getting anything less than top-tier care. This review is honestly long overdue because every single visit over the years has carried the same feeling of safety, confidence, and professionalism. I even had my wisdom teeth removed here when I was 17, and that experience stuck with me in the best way. Today's visit was another reminder of why I always recommend this office. Sally and Dr. Nguyen were absolutely wonderful. I'm someone who is always nervous at the dentist no matter what, and they picked up on that immediately. Dr. Nguyen talked me through everything calmly and kindly, from numbing to cleaning, and nothing felt rushed or uncomfortable. The numbing was easy, the cleaning was smooth, and I really appreciated how much they focused on education and future care along the way. Sally was efficient, gentle, and just genuinely kind while handling my X-rays and getting me settled. Those small details matter so much when you're anxious, and they truly get it here. Another thing that consistently stands out is the front office staff. They are always so helpful, welcoming, and patient, and it honestly feels like they've been there forever, which says a lot about how this practice treats its people. The office is always clean, it never has that unpleasant dental smell, and even though the lobby is on the smaller side, you're rarely sitting there long. In my experience, you're quickly taken in for exams, X-rays, cleanings, and today they even asked if I had time to do treatment right then and there, which I really appreciated. I booked this appointment just yesterday and was seen today, and everything flowed so smoothly. I'm genuinely grateful to have been taken care of by this team for so many years, and I truly hope I can continue coming here even after upgrading my insurance.
