Staff is always very easy going with my 14 yr old shy son and my 12 yr old daughter. They feel very comfortable visiting the " dentis" here. went in for a teeth cleaning and filing but left with a cracked tooth from him hitting my tooth with a scalpel and xrays. Told me to reschedule my teeth cleaning appointment when he still had time to clean my teeth. he had 20 minutes approximately left in session. I have gone before and they have done a filling and teeth cleaning in same session. The personal has changed want to double dip on my insurance now not ok with it. My tooth is in constant pain now waist of my time. Also was told we owe money when they owe us from not finishing my wifes Invisaline. You can remove my sons photo since you don't want to take him back as a patient. Was referred to a different pediatric specialist by Pearl Dentist for my son to have an extraction. (What a nightmare the referred specialist was. Did the extraction anyway and finally) Tried to continue standard care with Pearl, such as getting a spacer (they create a mold, make and then you pop it into the spot extracted) and the standard checks ups they have done in past but they said it was best for my son not to be in their care any longer. But you do see pictures of other children in their pictures, right? Or maybe I need an eye specialist.... Lame Let me include I was seen also and they said I needed gum trays to wear at night, that my gums were desperately in need of them. They cost almost grand. Went to a family members dentist to get second opinion and they said my gums were healthy, could be better with more flossing but did not need gum trays. Maybe because I never went back to spend my money on something unnecessary, they didn't want my son any longer. Hmmm Another thing don't book an appointment on their site for any Saturday, even though it's an option, because they are usually closed. read more

I've been to a lot of dental clinics in my lifetime around the world, the staff here is definitely top of my list when it comes to etiquette and professionalism. Not one DA or tech was distracted with Dr. Liu's request. They were always ready to serve Dr. Liu's request. Tools in hand--check, suction is primed ready--check, water and air on standby--check. You only get this type of assistance in a luxury dental clinic setting. Not one tool was ever pulled from the rack and placed back. The DA and techs knew what was next. I'm sure this clinic screens, probates, and approves their techs and DAs before going full time. THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT AND MOST CLINICS DON'T DO THIS. Lastly, Dr. Liu. Such a great dentist with a wide perspective on attentiveness and comfort. This dental clinic really cares about pain management. I was hesitating going to a family dentist, because these dentist have a reputation of being quick and efficient. But after going through Dr. Liu's care--getting cavities patched, deep cleaning, action plan for whitening, implants and veneers--I think I've found my match. It's hard now a days to find a decent dentist, especially with COVID--but I feel Pearl Dentistry is beyond decent. Came to Pearl Dentistry to get a consultation for Invisalign braces. The entire team was wonderful and easy to work with. Yvonne and Lourdes were quite informative and helpful with providing a step-by-step on what needed to be done and breaking down the costs so I could make informed decisions. Scheduling was really easy with them working around my available times, and their appointment reminder texts helped me be on top of things. Dr. Lu was easy to talk to and quickly created a plan based on a diagnosis of my oral health, which provided steps I needed to take before I can safely get braces. If I had any concerns about the way my teeth were being aligned midway through, she would check immediately and make adjustments to the aligners as necessary. Regarding cleaning, Connie has been quite excellent. Her cleanings are relatively painless compared to other dentists I've been to, and her oral health analysis and advice have been great for keeping my teeth and gums healthy. I normally do not write reviews but I had to write one for Yuki and Connie. My son and I have been going to her office since he was only two. My son is 8 now and because of the care and patience they had with him he is never afraid of going to see them. In fact he looks forward to going to the Dentist. As for me, I been doing the deep cleaning and using the Perio Protection tray which I use only 10 minutes a night and found it really helpful in maintaining the health of my gums.
