Dr. Sun and his staff are amazing. There's been multiple instances where they've gone above and beyond to provide excellent care for me and my family... About a year ago, my daughter fell and chipped her tooth on a weekend (it was either Saturday or Sunday, can't quite remember). My wife and I were panicking (she's our first child and was about 7 months at the time). We called around dozens of offices and the ones that were even open wouldn't see us. Dr. Sun found a way to make space for us so he could assess my daughter's tooth and treat it. He was a lifesaver! A few months ago, one of my molars cracked when I bit into a hard candy. My usual dentist wanted to immediately do a root canal. I remembered how great Dr. Sun had been when treating my daughter so I gave him a call to get a second opinion. He took X-rays and analyzed the situation. He said I "could" have the root canal done but that he was certain he could save the tooth and place a crown on it. He quickly put me on their busy calendar and was able to do just that! I've had the crown now for about 6 months and have had no issues. Lifesaver again! I would have said Dr Sun is the best dentist in my life. Over the last year since I been switching over to creating smiles in Covina he fixed all my problems and every visit I feel so good. I did 3 crowns, deep cleaning, regular check up. All the crowns fit Soo well. He will carefully and repeatedly test and fit to make sure I feel comfortable with the new crown every time. And he will glide through with dental floss to make sure that the gap btw teeth are correct. In which all the other dentists in my previous visits never did He put Anesthesia to the right amount that after 30 mins to an hour that I can get back to normal eating and drinking. I have been looking for the perfect dentist for our family and I found the one!!! My two year old daughter developed two huge cavities on her molar. I took her to a pediatric dental office and the doctor over there couldn't do anything at that time. I was told that I need to take my baby to the hospital and get her sedated in order for the dentist to do the treatment. As you can imagine how stressful for a mom to think about this. I came to see Dr. Sun for my annual exam, and wasn't expecting he could see my baby girl. My baby usually cries when the pediatrician checks up on her, but luckily, that's not the case this time. I really enjoy bringing my "smile" to Creating Smiles Dentistry (CSD). Usually I'm nervous about dental visits but that doesn't happen when I visit CSD. The staff and dentists are great and helpful. The location is convenient and there's free parking. I have been here four times this year and with each visit I have received exceptional service. After check-in, the wait is usually quick. During my last visit, after I sat down on the dentist chair, the assistant put on my bib. I jokingly said, "I didn't get to see the menu but I'll take a mimosa, lobster and prime rib, please." We both laughed and the rest of the visit was about "creating smiles." My exams, cleanings, and fittings visits have all been handled professionally and with great care.
