I approached Chase and greeted me looking sharp and professional, exactly what you'd expect from someone in his role. Without any hesitation, he jumped right in to help .. even after I admitted I was completely lost. He walked me through where the jackets, shared his impressive knowledge of the products, and guided me through long sleeves, pants, and even suggested the right shoes to complete the look. This guy went above and beyond. He turned what could have been a stressful experience into a genuinely enjoyable one. Chase absolutely deserves a raise or some serious recognition. Highly recommend asking for him if you walk in! He just know his shit-- pardon me but the guys is excellent and a subject matter expert.

The videos I saw showed the strip mall being so packed with vehicles & people that there was actually a police presence just to help manage with crowd control. I recently moved closer, so I took the first opportunity I could to take a look at their goods in person yesterday...I was a little taken aback at how small the space is. From the moment I walked up to the front door- I was shocked to see that, that many people could have been waiting in line for hours and that the store would have enough merchandise to accommodate ALL those customers?! That said, I found the shop inside decorated in that retro style very suitable & quaint, but also only about 8 racks spread out openly throughout the store. The prices in my opinion were ridiculously high except for the $10 clearance rack by the front entrance. Even at that, many shirts I found stained, logos cracking/fading, with holes, or paint marks and overall just not in great condition for the cost! Additionally, they do have some pants, jackets and hoodies as well. Employees never welcomed us in. Too busy eating sandwiches. Find it very unprofessional to eat your food on the floor and at the registers counter to boot! They buy daily for vintage. You'll receive cash or credit. Generally, you will get more in store credit than in cash. Currently, they're accepting winter items and are being very "picky" ( as the two employees told me) about t-shirts. Odd since that's mainly what they carry & with that Tik Tok craze you'd think they would have needed a heck of a lot more merchandise unless it didn't fair well? Yet, again it's a small space with not a lot to offer, so wondering if they have things in storage and they rotate often or seasonally? Doubtful this will be a place I'd return. Think you can get more money by selling your goods on-line thru numerous apps. Or, going to a thrift store and finding vintage gems!

I handed her my Non-Driver ID card, a perfectly valid, state-issued government ID. What happened next left me genuinely speechless. She stared at it, then looked up at me and asked, "Is this a green card?" A green card. My state-issued Non-Driver ID, issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles, with the state seal on it -- she looked at it and her brain went straight to immigration status. I told her no, it's a Non-Driver ID. It doesn't have an expiration date -- which, by the way, is completely normal for this type of government ID in many states. Her response? She doubled down. Asked me AGAIN if I was sure it wasn't a green card. Let me be very clear about what happened here: a manager, someone entrusted with training and leading others, saw a Latina woman hand her an ID she didn't personally recognize, and her immediate assumption -- stated out loud, twice -- was that I must be showing her an immigration document. She has apparently never seen a green card, nor a Non-Driver ID, yet felt confident enough to question MY identity documentation not once but twice. The ignorance would almost be funny if it weren't so deeply offensive. As a proud Hispanic woman, this interaction was humiliating, infuriating, and frankly discriminatory in its assumptions. I did not come into your store to have my citizenship quietly questioned by someone who cannot identify a standard government ID. Aerie corporate needs to see this. Your management staff needs mandatory training -- not just on ID verification, but on basic human decency and the implicit biases they are apparently carrying right onto the sales floor. This is not acceptable from any employee, let alone someone in a leadership role. I will not be returning, and I will be sharing this experience everywhere I can.

I went into the Buckle store at Santan Valley to return an item and had my proof of purchase ready…read more The return itself was simple, but the manager told me I had to provide my full name, email and phone number in order for the return to be processed. Buckle's own policy only requires proof of purchase for in‑store returns, so I was uncomfortable being forced to give personal information that wasn't necessary. I provided it only because I was told the return couldn't be completed otherwise. I hope Buckle addresses this, because customers shouldn't be pressured to share private contact information for a basic return.
