We went to 5 places to look at tile before we ended up at Ed Pawlack Tile. None of these places had any selection to speak of, then we walked the showroom in Brea and couldn't believe how many options they have! There are so many pieces on display, in different types of materials. The showroom is huge!. Everyone one was friendly. Michele helped us, she was wonderful! So patient and knowledgeable. We were really undecided on what direction we would go in and she suggested taking samples home. We are so happy to have such a great resource and can't wait to start our kitchen remodel. read more

I went there to shop for bathroom tile. There were about 3 people in the store. A saleswoman (I use the term loosely), inquired in a tone that made me feel I was in an unauthorized area, if I needed any help. I knew what I wanted. There are no prices on the samples. She disgustedly went to find the prices. I had measured out my bathroom and she refused to even figure out a rough estimate. I will NEVER go back there again!!! read more

Eh Ed, you're letting me down! My wife apparently received excellent service in the store but after the sale it all went to hell. I called before closing and ordered some additional pieces, paid with a credit card, and told the gal I was going to be there right at opening to just pick it up and go immediately. (Why else would I pay with a card over the phone?) I got there 5 minutes before opening and they didn't open until 15 minutes after the posted time on the door. Then when I do get in I'm told to go around back for pickup (Ok that's fine) but when I get over there the guy who is supposed to get my tile is talking shop with someone else (with me standing there) for 5 minutes. Then finally I interrupt and the guy tells me he needs to help this other guy first (!) Finally I get the pieces we need. Insult to injury, we had some stuff special ordered and paid for it but when my contractor went to pick it up the next day only half of the order was there. He had to go back later and (of course) charged me. I actually should refute the charge with my credit card company. I won't be back here unfortunately and the reality is that no one I know will be back here. read more

My mom is an interior decorator and introduced me to this place when my fiance and I decided to remodel our master bath. I walked in and absolutely LOVED the selection of tile. Absolutely amazing! I've never seen anything like it! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I ordered bullnose, which had to be made. I was on a strict schedule and, being the control freak I am, called every day to make sure everything was going to be on time. The employees helped me as much as they possibly could, answering all of my questions. I couldn't have been more greatful! Everything was on time and beautiful. I have been buying tile here for 15 years. They have always been wonderful. They take time with you to make sure that you like what you chose and today; Ed helped me for almost an hour design the tile for my tiny bathroom. The selection is amazing.. So many choices ; and they are always ready and willing to help. It's nice to be able to purchase everything you need in a single spot. read more

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with prior posts. I have visited numerous stores and they are by far the most helpful, they have the best selection, and they worked very hard for my new construction project! Mark did everything he could in a timely manner, and they were updating their showroom, and it was very impressive. Went into today Friday around 3:45 PM staff never acknowledge me I even walked by the desk they were to busy listening to talk radio.I won't be buying my tile there, Floor and Decor much better customer service.I gave one star the tile is beautiful but I'll spend my money elsewhere read more

I have to agree with other Yelp reviews. This place has ZERO customer service. Am I not "rich" looking? Am I not white enough? They really have a beautiful selection (hence the extra star). But when no one even so much as looks at me when I walk into a store, I will not give them my business. I thought maybe they just have a non-threatening, "ask if you need help" kind of policy. But, while my husband and I were there, the employees smiled at, said hi to and helped other customers. I thought if I walked around enough, and looked seriously interested (which I was) then someone would eventually ask if I needed help. No luck! I took my business to Forever Tile and Stone in Whittier, which had excellent customer service and beautiful choices...I remodeled two bathrooms with their help. Maybe next time I visit Ed Pawlack's, I should walk in waving cash. Oh, wait, there won't be a next time. read more

We walked in the store and the first thing we thought was look at all the beautiful selections , styles, Colors, textures to choose from! It was a little overwhelming but Michelle came over with a welcome smile & helped us every step of the way! We were choosing tile for a bathroom / walk in shower Addn, & she was very knowledgeable & we were very pleased with our purchase! Now we are back a second time to buy tile for our original bathroom & Mark came to the rescue! We are so pleased with our tile selection & with the expert help we received the second visit! I purchased some tile from Pawlack's and worked with Roz --- staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They made sure I was looked after and were helpful in choosing the right tile. The only problem I had was that there was SOOOOO much to choose from it can be overwhelming, but if you go in knowing generally what you want, and your budget, they are a great resource. They have every price and every style you can imagine. I am still working on my renos and will be using them so more! I highly recommend them. read more

Well, Ed Pawlak tile has been around forever... almost !! You know why? Because his store is one of the best..they have a fantastic crew, the best designers, the best customer service and the BEST selection of unique designer-type tile in the industry.. I too am in the industry, but I send so many people here because of what they do and have done for so many years.. The showroom has been the location for the filming of a popular HGTV remodeling show.. and it stands up to its reputation.. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED-- CHECK IT OUT. Ed Pawlack Tile helped us select the correct color grout after the Stone and Tile dealer on State College we were working with put in the wrong color that ended up turning "PINK", and had to be removed. Huge mess. They know their products and color. They may be a little more expensive but I learned my lesson. Do it right the first time with someone who know what they are doing and who you can trust. We were promised we would be finished in September and now in January are still trying to get things completed with our STATE COLLEGE Stone and Tile contractor. Never again, just remember you get what you pay for. Oh, I have never had a problem with getting help when I go to their show room or over the phone with a generic question.
