I would use this storage facility again if I needed one. I sympathize with the person complaining about the costumer service rep who said they could cancel anytime with no fees and no penalty. However, I suggest that they should have read the contract before signing it. In the end, people who sign contracts are responsible to read and know for themselves what they are signing. Even if it takes a long time to read through the legal jargon, we should all read contracts, ask questions for clarification, and then, if we agree, sign them. I know this can be a lengthy process, but it is the only way to know for sure what you are getting yourself into.

I called to cancel my unit and was told I had to give 2 weeks notice to get a full refund!!! And now they owe me 3 days back and they are saying they won't refund me because they only refund the money if it's more than a weeks worth of days to credit back. Which makes no sense. Why am I paying for days I'm not using? Funny thing is they asked me if I'd already paid the month (which of course I had) and that's when they told me that I wouldn't get my money back.... Because usually they prorate the amount they owe you back prior to you paying your last bill..... Yeaaaa OK Sentinel, great job punishing customers who pay on time and up front. Worst company ever. To top things off the lady at this location referred me to a manager who I left a msg with explaining my situation and she hasn't even called me back (do much for regional manager Gena doing her job). Just use another company is my advice.

Hello, I am a long time user of Springbank Storage and have found most staff friendly and helpful…read more There is definitely a mouse problem but mostly it seems managed. I suffered some chew marks on expensive furniture but saw it as my own risk - storing where I knew mice lived. I have just calculated by overall payments to them as $3000+ over the last three years. Recently, 4 of us emptied my storage unit and we all checked back for any belongings left behind. The unit was empty except for the mouse traps that they provided (or the previous renter?) and which I had filled a few times. There was mouse poison and feces in one corner. As I left with my $200 per hour crew one of their staff demanded that we return to completely clean out the unit or face a $30 charge. That was an easy call for me $200 or $30. The same day they charged me a "$30 disposal fee." So because of this I will never use them again and advised my moving crew to spread the word. I am working on other remedies but social media is an easy first step. I consider this fraud and am trying to understand my options. Obviously it is not the money it is the unauthorized use of my credit card that they likely still have on file. I may need to change my credit card as advised by Mastercard. I suggest paying by cash if you need to use them. The self righteous attitude of one staff and, of course, the principa motivate me. This place might be cheaper but certainly not customer friendly.

Very happy with their service. Needed storage from start of October (still almost two weeks away)…read more They were quite happy to take my payment today, but make effective date October 1; no holding fee! Clean, well maintained facilities. Impressed.
