After a few relatively good experiences with this type of ATM I ran into all sorts of problems in order to get a transaction completed. One hiccup it kept having was acknowledging my ID. And then after that hurdle was crossed then the machine had problems detecting just what kind of device I was trying to have assessed for cash value. This was attempted a few different times and on more than one occasion. Finally I had enough of playing around with this machine and have washed my hands of using it any further.

It couldn't read/identify my unlocked old phone(that was NOT a dinosaur or broken or cracked or damaged AT ALL) it couldn't read/scan my Driver License, the plug didn't work, it offered a far lower amount than the online estimate for NO REASON. Today was the worst. 1st, I had an offer for $130, I took the code to the location the website said was near me & available. I get there & it has a message on the screen to the effect of out of order & gave the nearest working locations. I go to the nearest one, big surprise - it can't identify my phone, then it can't connect, it rotates a new connector, it can't connect to my old phone??? it asks to scan it unconnected, it identifies my phone as 128 vs the 512GB I KNOW IT IS. it offers 54% of the online offer because it says the phone is 128GB when in fact I KNOW IT IS 512GB, These machines SUCK, I have every time ended up doing the online/mail in with sellcell or the like, & EVERY TIME I did that, I got exactly what the online offer was, although I had to wait a few days for the check(my preferred pay method) to arrive. Summary: eco atm-100% PROBLEMS & ERRORS of 8to10 tries, Online Send In phone - 100% GREAT. eco atm sucks don't waste your time. Seriously, I'll never try them again, even if they were the only game in town, fortunately, they are NOT.
