When I tell you this is my favorite place, they always help me to sort my recycling and are so patient when I'm asking questions about the type of recycling that they do. They recycle everything here, your liquor bottles, your wine bottles, any type of plastic and aluminum as well like pineapple juice cans. You get a good return back, it's worth coming here even if it's just a little bit farther. Victor was helping me this time and he was really great! read more

I have gone to this recycling center for my last time. David the boy in charge decided he wanted to go home early so when I pulled up at 4:27 with all my items sorted and ready to go ; he told the guy standing at the door waiting for the last customers to shut the door in my face despite the fact that they would have been finished by 4:30 p.m . He then proceeded to come out and tell me 'we are done '! I have been coming here for twenty years and even gone so far to advocate via Randy Voepel to keep the benefits in California. I will now no longer patronize the business and will actually advocate against the $30,000 the recycling center gets per month from the government just for exsiting. I have found this place willing to break rules and implement their own policies when they so choose. I hope it was with it. read more

Real friendly staff they will tell you to clean your slab of aluminum and then after you do they will mark it scrap and pay you a fraction of what it's worth. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

After moving, I had so many cardboard boxes. Quality Recycling took my broken down boxes. They weee very friendly and helpful.

They are very nice and helpful. I always bring my recyclables there. They pay good money for Cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles.

Spring cleaning. Time to gather up the recyclable containers and get that CRV money back. So many nickels out there! I like that they're close to Hwy 67 and straight down the street from the highway exit. One traffic light and the next driveway after 7-Eleven. Be mindful of their closing hours because they don't stay open late. No Spidey Sense tingling even though there was only one sketchy guy loitering. It wasn't overly crowded with patrons, but just enough to have a sense of safety-in-numbers. We went on a weekend and they had enough staffing available to keep the weigh line moving. I checked online and they had a new customer coupon to add on a few more cents/lb. Mini-me 2.0 thought it was interesting to watch the forklift driving around moving things and to see the hydraulic compacting machine smush piles of materials into giant cubes. What would I change, other than the refund rate? Not much, other than maybe have more push carts available to transport sorting bins (aka empty plastic trash cans to move recyclables from your car to their weigh station), or add wheels to the bins so you're not dragging them through the parking lot. - Businesses operating during the pandemic - In my efforts to only venture out when necessary, my recycling bins full of aluminum cans and plastic bottles were overflowing. I checked some local centers and Quality Recycling was open so off I went. I arrived and grabbed some of their garbage cans to pour my stuff into. I wheeled the cans to the entrance and a member of the staff immediately started to pour my cans and bottles into the tall mesh baskets that they use to weigh the scrap. He was quick and efficient, it did not take long at all. He had my stuff weighed and dumped in mere minutes. I don't pay attention to what they are paying per pound for plastic and aluminum. I'm just happy to be rid of my junk and get a little fun money in my pocket. That said, I had enough aluminum cans to fill two of their mesh baskets and enough plastic bottles to fill another two. I took home $99.27. Not a bad take for a few minutes of work. Please wear your mask, they are wearing theirs. I always drive the extra mile just to go here for recycling. The service is great and the men that work there are always so kind! Today when I went there after washing my hands one of the employees already had a paper towel ready for me. Super kind people! read more

I admit, I have never recycled for cash before. We have a blue trash can marked recyclables & we've always just thrown all of the aluminum cans & bottles there. I read a couple of reviews from Yelp about recycling so I thought I'd give it a try. Quality Recycling is a couple of blocks from my parents' house, so after gathering their plastic bottles, I came here along with my cans & a trash can full of beer bottles from the previous weekend. One of their employees explained to me that the items should be sorted. He was cool, he even helped me sort them. He just smiled when he noticed that all the bottles were beer bottles, all the cans were beer cans. They pay $0.11 lb. for bottles,$1.70 lb for cans, & $0. 93 lb for the plastic. I was given $38.57 . I have begrudgingly come here because of the close proximity to where I live. The place has outgrown it's building. The parking is worse. They never & I can honestly say that they never have enough "cans" so you can sort your recyclables. On the most part, the guys working it are not too friendly nor helpful. I am truly disgusted with them. I am not even sure I trust that I am getting the amount owed to me , after all they don't show you weight or how they break it down by weight of the can, etc.They also low-ball you on price. My experience here as been nothing but outstanding. So I was a bit surprised about the reviews for this place. Anyways the folks here were very helpful and showed be the differences between the different types of plastics and recyclables. Although this place is farther than the one off Mast Blvd, I find these people more helpful. The people from Mast make you feel like you're getting in their way and more of a burden(not so friendly). Also another cool thing about this place is they give you 2 dollar bills :) I haven't gotten these since I was a kid. Freaking cool man. read more

Finally did my research after taking hundreds of pounds of used & scrap copper building wire here over the last few months. Can't believe I went here so many times. Lowest prices in town. Basically giving it to them. Won't be back. read more

There are many recycling centers in the area, which I tried out for the last 10 years and Quality Recycling was the best experience I've ever had so far. It's a 3 man operation and they are all friendly and helpful whenever help is needed. Well organized. They are the ones I'll be going to from now on. I have been here many times before and have always been treated well. Before I wrote this review, I wanted to try one thing, competitors coupon. I called and asked if they would accept it and the gentleman said yes. I weighed my cans at home and the poundage they gave me there was actually slightly more than what I came up with on my scale. They matched the competitors coupon and in no way made me feel bad about using it. I had cans and plastic bottles pre separated and was attended to very well when I was there. I went to this recycling center last week and when I picked up a barrel I heard rattling in the handle so I picked up another and I heard the same noise there are weights taped in all the handles, they put on your reciet that the can weights 9 lbs, I researched those rubbermaid cans on 3 separate sites and they weigh 7.5 lbs also all of my aluminum cans fit into 1 can and when the worker inspected my cash pouring them into another can he left about 10 in the original can to make it seem like 2 was needed to complete the weight process and it wasn't and both cans were put on the scale so I 18lbs was taken off the weight of my cans I was totally ripped off by this recycle center I won't be going back and I will be reporting them to the BBB read more

Would give them 0 stars if possible. Sold some copper to them and they told me to come back in 3 days. So came back in 3 days. Then they said I had to wait another day. So I would recommend no one come here. And the employees are pissed off Mexicans who could care less about customer service. Do no come here read more

The employees at this station are very nice and helpful. I had just moved here from out of state. Our landlord pays for trash but there's no recycling. My family and I have been recycling for years. I found it very difficult throwing recyclables in the trash, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Our landlord referred me to Quality Recycling. So I loaded up my car (don't have a truck) with all our paper, cardboard, cans, bottles, glass. I thought I was pretty organized. Stuffed paper in the cardboard boxes broke boxes down; all products labeled with the recycle symbol were rinsed and put into bags. When I got there a guy came over and asked if I needed help. I explained that I just moved here and my landlord told me that accept recyclables. He then explained how it had to be sorted and that different items got more money than others I said, I didn't realize they would pay me for anything other than the items labeled "CRV". He said, no they pay me for a lot of what I had brought, just needs to be sorted. I said, "okay, I'll go home sort it and come back tomorrow." By then another guy had walked over, they said not to go through all that trouble, they would help me. It took some time, they explained a few items they couldn't take, and were very understanding. I've been coming here ever since I was a little kid with my parents, and now I come myself as an adult. Haven't had any bad experiences with anyone working here, and if you come with your recyclables sorted you're in and out within 10 minutes. If you don't come pre-sorted I wouldn't expect help if it's busy as they're understaffed but they try their best to help every customer. I definitely recommend sorting your stuff at home for a faster experience, and like the other reviewer said, they're here to pay you for your recyclables, not sort through your trash. read more

Ok so I have been here a few times. I prefer to go later in the day near but not too close to closing. Every time I arrived I have found ample parking. The employees are awesome too, they DID help me unload wire from my vehicle and in no way we're grumpy or in foul moods. Service WAS professional, they answered my questions and I appreciate it. The pay for my recyclables was PROPER. I WOULD definitely recommend this place. It's obviously a no frills place but they do their jobS WELL, and I have had zero issues with them. You can tell these guys don't take any BS so don't come at them with it and you'll be fine. All I can say is: the whole experience was awesome and I'll go back. read more

I have used Quality Recycling for many years because the guys are usually helpful and I felt I was getting what I should for my cans. Today, though, I feel totally ripped off. I brought in aluminum cans, enough to fill two of the big wire baskets they use to weigh them and 11 plastic bottles. Their posted price for cans was $1.60 per pound. I had a coupon to get $0.10 more per pound, so that should be $1.70. The weight of the baskets was 87.7 lbs. I received $55.35. Subtracting the $0.55 for the plastic, that leaves $54.80. Dividing that by $1.70, it means I only got paid for 32.23 pounds of cans. Since the weight on the scale was 87.7, they are saying the empty baskets weigh almost 28 pounds each. I find that very hard to believe, especially since I have recycled this many cans before and got paid a lot more. I had my sunglasses on instead of my regular glasses, so I couldn't see the amount very well, but I did note that the second number of the total amount was a 7. I travel a ways to get to this center because I trusted them, but I don't think I do anymore. If possible, weigh your cans ahead of time or recycle them by the 50 count. read more
