I'm rating this a 1 Star because the lady that works there I think she's homeless & she has a grown son. I think her name is Gina. She was very rude to me. I have been going to this Laundrymat way before she started working there. She brings in all her drug addict friends inside to charge their phones & wash for free. She lets her drug addict friends in the restroom even though sometimes they are not washing. The cameras in this place are all fake which sucks. It's sad that the owners don't know what she is really doing. They need to keep an eye on her or get rid of her. Ever since she started working there it has gotten so bad. She was harrassing me one day because she didn't think I washed there. She was outside hanging with her crackhead friends when I came in to wash. She finally decides to come back inside & approach me as I was putting my clothes in the dryer & she asked me if I had washed there. I told her yes but then she says well I didn't see you wash! What? At this point she's accusing me of lying. Then she goes around asking the other customers if they had seen me wash. What? Who does that? Very unprofessional. I would like to give a very special thank you to an employee her name is Rachel and I'm saying this now because I have a broken foot and she helped me do my laundry. Butt I have been there so many other times and she's just so helpful and kind and I mean sometimes that place could be so crowded and she'll find a way for you to get done what you came to do she's very aware of the closing and where it should go and how to wash it and then with that smile she has in the peacefulness that I see in her face I just want to thank her so much before being there for me each and every time I came there it was her I believe once I came and it was a man and he wasn't very nice at all and I swore to myself that I would never come back until 9 news today that Rachel would be working all I have to say you have a very good employee on your hands that lady works really hard he always busy doing things washing windows mopping floors cleaning this cleaning that and I just want her to know that she's appreciated and I want your company to know that I appreciate you for hiring a person like that she's very professional and who can actually be that way and in my dream that obviously it's so because this young lady has shown me that this can be done so I just wanted to just stop for a minute and say thank you to her. read more

This is the best place to do laundry at I can literally get 7 loads of laundry done in 30 minutes they have the big washers that hold 7 loads and then the big industrial dryers that hold 7 loads and it all drives in 15 minutes and the dryers are free that's a big bonus so I can do 7 loads of laundry and half an hour total time the place is very very clean the people that work there are so nice and helpful it's just a great place to do your laundry especially after you have a lot to do if you have kids or towels or blankets I mean you're literally in and out of there very quickly I won't do laundry at my apartment complex in the little bitty washers that they have I just do it all at once at the echo laundromat another bonus is the machines take your credit card or debit card so you don't have to get all those quarters even the machine for a soda you can use your credit card and they sell laundry soap and fabric softener in the little machine very reasonable price very clean place to do laundry and it's right next to Big Lots so I can run in there and get a few things while my laundry is going read more

I been using this laundry mat for over two years. Been here all sorts of times morning to late. With the out break of covid19 I knew I had to come in the morning when Justina is working. Anytime I come she is cleaning and making sure everything is looking right. She keeps people from going crazy which is helpful when people are hoarding the carts, and other people need them. She is helpful anytime I ask her a question and she helps if I can't figure out a machine. I try and go in the morning when they open, less crowds and she has the machines clean and continues to clean throughout the day. I really like this place with the free dryer if you wash there. The thing is the people that take advantage make it hard and aren't kind. Another reason why I go when Jusitna is there, she keeps it flowing properly and it doesnt get to hectic. As for the laundry facility its a 5 star place. I come here often to wash my clothes and things..but this lady was horrible...her name is amanda and she works here ..i had a free wash from the last time i was here and she gave me problems and attitude when i came in today i paid for one wash and my other one was free....she didn't pay attention to any costumers often ignoring then for long periods of time attempting to look busy but want doing anything...her boyfriend was here and he was putting things behind the counter and he had all of her attention. My washer brok and did not spin my clothes she refused to help me only giving me yet another shitty attitude speaking to me like she hated me or something....and told me she cant do anything for me i have to pay for another washer or dry it longer...i normally dont complain but her behavior was VERY out of pocket....i was so glad when she left... read more

okay I drive from Santee just to go to this place. The machines are new it's spotless clean and I like that there is an attendant in the we morning hours . The staff are very kind and helpful and always busy . I feel safe going alone I've never experienced any problems . lots of seating snack machines just overall fantastic. The only thing that was bothersome was when a woman had her two grade school children there at around 3 am which was odd kinda wrong if they go to school. They were jumping off the tables trying to trip people walking by and being loud . The mother was not watching them . So maybe you could put up a huge sign that says "all children must be supervised or kept in the trunk " lol joking but not really . Oh and the vapor smoking that goes on even though there is a sign gets smelly . But it woukd not prevent me from continuing to use thus laundry center . read more

I've been coming to this facility for over 3 years now because of the cleanliness and extra large washers and dryers here!! Did I mention you get to dry here for free !! You also get to laid a card now and get a free wash after your 9th loaf of any size washer!!! The staff here Gina and Ray are beyond helpful supportive and patient. They always greet us and everyone around us with smiles and make everyone very comfortable too. We had forgotten my sons pillows here and Ray not only had them saved for us months and months later she also sewed the pillow back because the stitch was coming apart. She went beyond my expectations and this is why we come back here. I greatly appreciate you. Thanks again so much Gina And Ray because you ladies are always here working so hard! I just wanted to point out that I have seen this worker at the laundry at night he is Mexican all he does is chat chat with the females doing their laundry and walking around but not cleaning nothing....I've seen him alot and today I came real early to wash more clothes my gosh my washers were freaking dirty I had to ask Gage to please clean them for me and it was nobody yet doing laundry. I find it very disrespectful for the guy at night being very communicative with the women there instead of doing his job. This morning floors were disgusting and washers had dry soap n softener from the night before. No questions about the condition and quality of the equipment as they have proven themselves to me and I'll tell ya why. I've visited the other eco laundry locations and the washers are rough on your clothes but you get free drying... sorry Id rather pay a darn quarter for 8 mins of spot on drying that's quick and my clothes come out the same size and not scorched. Eco Laundry at 1043 E Main in El Cajon is the best laundromat in town! I tried a few after arriving here in CA, they weren't good. Then I read some reviews about this place, (which I'm at right now), and it's great! The washers are newer, energy efficient, and wash well. The dryers are also energy efficient, and are free! The facilities are maintained well, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Terrific place all the way around! PS: Happy Birthday Carrie! I recently moved into a small apartment. Sadly, my complex doesn't have washers or dryers. I have passed this laundry mat quite a few times and it seemed very inviting. Last week I came in and did a few loads. I don't remember the young lady's name, but she had red hair and a few tattoo's on her arm. She showed me the larger washer because I was washing my blanket. I tried putting it in a smaller washer & it wouldn't fit. She noticed me while I was headed towards the door with my blanket after a failed attempt to wash. Quickly, she told me that she had a larger washer and I was able to wash my blanket. It was my first time going there & I will be returning. I hope that she will be there the next time I come in just in case I have any further questions. read more

Eco Laundry is a corrupt establishment. The employee Gina is aggressively confrontational to customers. She publicly harrassed me at my car repeatedly while I was getting my children ready to enter the laundromat. I remained quiet and honestly confused by her aggression as i communicated already that my 3 children were in the car. My son who is autistic started crying noticing this stranger circling our car. She proceeded to yell in front of the laundromat "Dont come back!!". Later when i tried to call the manager, Gina answered the phone "Sanchos taco shop", then she harrassed me by calling me back on my phone and hanging up. I just came here yesterday. Because my Apt washers eat quarters and are broken most of the time. The attendant Gage was really helpful showing me which machines to use and how they work. I was able to do 1 load instead of 2 loads like at the Apt. They have all different sizes of washers and dryers that work and that are clean. I love how the dryers are free. I also like the free Wi-Fi and TV screens plus they have raffle drawings once a month for a $30 Walmart gift card. The regional manager and other lady attendant were also very nice and helpful to me and other customers. I will definitely recommend and use this laundromat now. read more

I had let laundry pile up once again and decided to make it a Sunday project. Eco has extra large machines, the place is clean and well kept. I was nervous about going with the current pandemic; however, Ray (the attendant) reminded everyone to wear their mask and to wait outside during the wash and dry cycles. Ray kept everything clean and orderly while being professional, courteous and engaging. Talk about great customer service. I love this place and I'll be back. By far the best and cleanest laundromat in El Cajon. I come once a week and always very clean here. The washers and dryers are amazing. I love the fact if you washer here then you can dry for free. The staff is always busy cleaning and being helpful. Also very friendly. Huge thank you to GINA. She is amazing. I called about forgetting some clothes in the washer and she called me back to verify the clothes that she had in a bag from that day. I was beyond relieved the clothes were still there. I go to this laundromat weekly or biweekly. Before COVID I would bring my four year old daughter. She would play with other kids or by herself on the machines. It is always clean. The staff is extremely friendly (especially the blonde lady. I wish I knew her name). In this time they are keeping their facility clean and safe for everyone. I will keep going here as long as I live in the area. Huge washers and huge free dryers. Also just got new machines. I was excited to learned that today!
