You can easily place your order on the touch screen, and they have it ready in no time! My go to order is always their matcha latte with oat milk and simple syrup, and it never disappoints. It's so good every single time! They also have a nice selection of pastries, and I have to give a special shoutout to their pandan cookie. It's seriously baked to perfection! Always super soft, moist, and full of flavor, just the way I like it. Definitely one of my favorite treats to pair with my matcha! Aside from the drinks and pastries, I really love the atmosphere here. The space is super spacious with high ceilings and a beautiful art wall that adds so much character to the place. It has such a nice, welcoming vibe whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or just want somewhere to sit and relax. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit even better. I've had nothing but good experiences here, and it's definitely a spot I keep coming back to. Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already!

It's noticeably smaller than their main Midtown location, but still comfortable. They offer a selection of snacks for purchase, including cookies (ube, pandan), muffins, burritos, and quiches. Quiches can be heated upon request. Popular drinks: "1987" (iced) and Vietnamese Hazelnut. I tried the 1987 drink. For my taste, it was a bit too creamy and on the sweeter side. Service: Quick and efficient. You can either use the self-serve station or order/pay directly at the counter.

It's a small coffee truck tucked into a tiny lot next to another business on Elk Grove Florin Road in between Bond Road and Elk Grove Blvd. Even though there's only 2 people working, their service was professional and courteous. At first I was wondering why they took someone's order then stepped away to make drinks before they thanked us for our patience and came back a few minutes later to take the orders for the person in front of me then myself. I'm not a coffee drinker but I thought I'd try their hot chocolate and banana muffin. Their hot chocolate was actually hot and stayed hot much longer than most other places' hot chocolates. It had a really creamy cocoa taste which I loved. Their banana muffin with walnuts was flavorful as well. I kind of wish they offered the option for warm muffins as mine was cold but it was still good. The only negative I could possibly think of is their parking situation. I was fortunate enough to be on my bike but it was kind of worrying to see cars trying to enter and exit. Maybe 3 or 4 cars tops can park in their tiny lot and I witnessed people constantly honking at each other while trying to enter and exit. However, that has no bearing on my review of their food and service. Overall, I enjoyed my little visit here. I'll have to try their giant chocolate chip cookie next time with a nice cup of hot cocoa.

She chose Carpenter coffee roasters which is a small local coffee truck right off Elk Florin. We parked and walked up to the truck. I was hesitant because of the small menu, but don't let that fool you because the coffee they use is really REALLY GOOD! We ordered an iced vanilla latte and an iced white mocha. I usually stay away from drinks with dairy (lactose intolerant, LOL) but my daughter ordered my drink and gave me the: "just try it" look. And boy was she right! The coffee they use cuts through but the white chocolate created a smooth creamy aftertaste. Soooo good! As for my daughter Latte, it disappeared, but failed to give me her review jumping on the plane Like any place, for food or drink not everyone's palette is the same so you'll have to try for yourself but be honest for other yelpers out there. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by Carpenter Coffee Roasters

The specials are especially great. On my first visit to Mast I tried their churro inspired latte. I loved the cinnamon and brown sugar flavor and especially appreciated that it wasn't 'too sweet to the taste. My wife, who also enjoys coffee with a little less sugar, was impressed with their Tokyo Fog matcha. She really enjoys the natural earthy matcha flavor and the Tokyo Fog gave that to her with some beautiful floral notes. Service was fast and we had our coffees very quickly. The cafe itself is well furnished and would be an incredible place to do some work on the go or just to hang out with friends. The ambiance is calm with some really great decorations around. It's not gaudy at all - just a smooth vibe. The food here is also of high quality. The pastries in the front case look beautiful and also have a rich flavor profile. I had their savory bacon bear claw and it was packed with bacon bits and cheese. I just wanted a latte with a little bit of honey and cinnamon. Was kind of surprised that they don't carry cinnamon at their shop, that's a coffee shop staple. I did enjoy the latte, though, the roast on the beans was very nice. The vibe in this old home is so cool, lots of people just chatting and hanging out. They've gotten exceptionally good at standardizing their drinks across the board as well. We have also tried many of their drinks outside of what we ordered today, including the 1987, 18 to the Brain, Thai Coffee, and Mexican Mocha. They have a food menu as well, which ranges from rice bowls to breakfast sandwiches. It's a great place to go to meet with friends, studying, or working on a project. They also have a good amount of seating inside, but it does fill up quickly! They do have WiFi (and outlets) and one single bathroom. Given we have been coming here for years, it is a must whenever you're in the Arden area!
