This Dutch Bros location has been my primary go to spot. Drive-thru only but the line moves fairly quick. There is a small patio which is kept pretty clean. Ordered a large mocha blended and large mango smoothie. These are good sized large cups in comparison to other coffee places. Both drinks are pretty good!! The baristas are nice and courteous. Went through the drive through because I wanted to have something refreshing. I ordered the Boba berry lemonade. It was pretty interesting with the popping boba. I wasn't quite sure the flavor. But it was pleasantly delicious. The entire drink was so good. It did help with cooling myself down. The weather is getting hotter. First time coming to this Dutch Bros Coffee and walked up to the order window. It took a long time to get service at the window, despite pushing the service button. The worker recommended the seasonal drink, which I ordered...the pink velvet mocha. The pink velvet mocha consisted of chocolate milk with "pink velvet" syrup, very similar to red velvet flavor. The drink was very sweet, but good. The female worker that took my order and brought out my drink was nice. For some reason, the pictures of this location on Google showed an indoor seating area, but when I arrived, I found out there was no indoor area at all. There is only one outdoor blue metal table with attached benches, which was a bit dirty. Not a bad spot for to-go coffee if you are in the area. read more

Orders are wrong a lot and they make no moves to fix it during your visit. All they say is I'm sorry and dismiss you. This has happened to me several times at this location. It could be something as simple as a size difference or even an extra caramel drizzle or an extra shot but regardless all they say is, I'm sorry and move you along. There's no correction of it or anything. It's not like other coffee places where they really care about the customers and they fix it on the spot. My mobile order drinks are always ready for pickup. A couple of times I've done drive thru I've had the wrong order but all good because they're always willing to fix it. I also had an issue with a double order on mobile and they helped me get a refund. They usually have the stickers on the first Wednesday of the month. read more

I have been going to Dutch Bros in Random areas for the longest and it is always hit or miss depending on the employees. I have been going to this location enough to get remembered by some of the employees, and this is considering the odd hours I go. What I found peculiar... was that when I tell them to add a tip, they don't sometimes. Red flag? Maybe. This place btw, in the morning don't have employees paying attention outside and you got to order at the window. Back to the point. The problem with this is that there may be some weird off topic reasonings to not add the tip, but that being said to me it screams employee is toxic or does not want to be there. I found it odd sometimes that this particular occurrence immediately happens to initiate either a Dutch bros thing, or this particular Dutch bro thing. Or maybe it is an Elk Grove thing I Dunno. Maybe they don't like the uniform I am wearing sometimes when I come get something to keep me awake. Anyhow, getting free drink suspiciously means you are the enemy itself and get salt all the way. Dutch bros supposed to be a happy atmosphere? Always smiling? Nope not here. And especially if you get something free. Even if you tip or add tip for something free. Reminds me of clubs where the bar tender is angry cause you tipped them. Because the boss takes it all. Wicked toxic. I do not know why people here for some reason do not like free drinks or coupons. If you earn it on your app (GF says I get coffee too much - hence the points), they give it to you on your Bday or from whatever reason. I remember getting too many random points and stamps when Dutch Bros introduced it. Now if you use em you get right at the window a sour face and a salty, you got the free drink? Mofo If you aint the owner don't say that; and if you the owner don't say that. Don't offer something free then say YOU GOT IT FREE with salt. Now I thought this was weird the first time, and when I get things free, I usually just add a tip as a random appreciation or statement that it was not necessary. But nah this lady straight sour faced you da free drink? Then proceeded to give me the wrong drink, wrong order, sour attitude and try to grief me into being shady by asking if I wanted the messed-up order. Anyone who drinks coffee knows you don't be greedy, especially with chocolate as it is known to cause... issues that may need a private moment of your time alone. Fast forward a few times and enough is an enough. They toxic attitude starts messing with your drink and substituting obvious bads. Like if you order a water, you get tap water. Imagine substituting your organic item for cheap dirt or left over milk that has been out of the fridge for too long? If they start doing this... imagine the two-shot coffee they think it's funny to put in your drink or a special something that helps you go ruin your day in the restroom? Funny thing is that the dude at the window knew, when I took the drink of the side of water that I knew it was messed up. Even heard the lady in the back laughing that she gave me tap. Wicked toxic culture, and the worse kind, they mess with your orders for fun. Why do you dis? Note. I can taste the bad water in Elk Grove. This Dutch Brothers had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I arrived before 6:45 PM and sat for more than 15 minutes in the drive-thru for two drinks. There were only three cars in front of us with no way to get out of the line. I got out of my car and ask if it was possible for them to park the vehicle so we could leave the drive-thru. The staff said there was nothing they could do, and I had to wait for the cars to move before I could leave. If it's your first time coming here, I would recommend looking at the menu first! Ordered at the walk up window and was greeted by a nice friendly smile even as the promo was bearing its final hour. I first tried Dutch Bros when they opened their other location in Elk Grove (by 99, off Elk Grove Blvd). At the time, I was unimpressed with having to wait in a long line of cars for the sugary drinks, and hadn't been back to any location since that visit 5+ years ago. This new location is a bit closer to me, so I decided to stop by. I do still think the drinks aren't greatest. I had the seasonal Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée Cold Brew. The drink was sweet, but still managed to taste watered down. While I wasn't super impressed with the drink, I think they may have me hooked with the stickers. Dutch Bros gives out a sticker with your drink, while supplies last, beginning on the first Wednesday of the month. The October 2022 sticker is a unicorn in a skeleton costume, holding out a pumpkin basket with the Dutch Bro's logo. Love it! I'll be back, even if their monthly stickers are my main motive for coming. I'll rotate drinks until I (hopefully) find one I enjoy. read more

I had the double torture... First time here at this location. Ohhh it gets better: first time trying Dutch Bros and I absolutely loved it. We don't have one near me. The closed one is 20 miles away and this location is over 5 1/2 miles so I don't believe I'll return any time soon but it had a lasting impression on me. The woman I spoke to raced over as soon as I pressed the button at the counter. I went there October 9th in the morning. She explained sizes of cups and told me about the muffin tops. I'm not on this side of town too often so it took me a while to come check out the new Dutch Bros location. Most Dutch Bros have double drive thrus going opposite directions but this one has two lanes in the same direction that merge before ordering. Luckily when I came on a Friday morning, there was no line at all so I didn't need to wait regardless of the drive thru setup. I was happy they weren't overly friendly asking about my life story like the original location haha and I paid and got my drinks in a timely manner - I'm talking about 2-3 minutes max for the whole transaction! This 3rd location in Elk Grove is actually my favorite spot to go to even though it's the farthest one away. It's not as busy here and you can get your drink in a jiffy. The young man who took our order was super cheerful, patient while my boys decided what they wanted, and was great at making suggestions. He knew the menu well. Our drinks came out through a back door, another cheerful server had them in hand. There were still 3 cars ahead of us when we received our order but just as quick as she passed them along to me, those customers had also been served.
