When they were working, there was no loud music, no screaming and yelling. These guys looked absolute professional, and it shows in their work. Before I picked Creative Concrete solutions I talked to several people about the work they had done by Joe and his team. Everybody had great things to say. I did get quotes from other companies and I did look at other companies work, which was very disappointing. I definitely recommend Creative Concrete solutions for any of your concrete work. His straight forward Approach, Honesty & Integrity are a breath of fresh air. He & his Crew took on my "small" project as if it was the most important one on their schedule. I initially explained to Joe that I needed my pool deck extended to accommodate a new pool cover but that it was only an approximate 36 sq. ft. job. He texted back a Very Reasonable Quote within 5 Minutes. When Joe & his Crew arrived, they painstakingly looked over the area where the pool deck extension was to be poured & we discussed the dimensions & layout, which was complex for a small job because there were no straight edges for reference. They began experimenting with various concrete form curves until a very pleasing shape emerged. The pour and the final dress-out were beyond my expectations ! A Work of Art ! ... The owner came out for the estimate and answered all questions. Once I said yes to the estimate, we agreed on a start date. The crew finished in the estimated time. A few points: -Deck looks great. They applied their surface material in a flagstone style. Very happy with the color palette and how slip resistant the surface is. Is it as cool as our original authentic Keystone Kool Deck coating? No. But it is cooler than other surfaces I've encountered in the valley. -We have a pool net with hooks that fasten into metal eyelets drilled into our pool deck surface. The crew was able to preserve the eyelets so we can continue using our safety net, no problem. -The owner told us that we'd see a white powder appear soon after installation, that it was part of the curing process and would eventually wash away. I was slightly alarmed to see the once pristine finish spotted with the powder, but he was right. A few months later, and the powder spots are nearly all gone. -Cash or check only. (50% down at start. 25% after initial prep work. 25% when complete). Very happy with the outcome. We now look forward to spending time at the pool instead of cringing while looking at an ugly, chipped surface.

The owner was punctual & professional. His workers were nice however, we never knew when they were going to show up, how long they'd be gone for lunch or what time they left. I asked them to tell us since we had 2 dogs locked in the house while they were working. The finished product looked pretty good, from what I could see, since it was too cold to get in the pool. I didn't like it at the separation between the pool & the in-ground spa. The owner sent them out, weeks later, to fix the area. By the end of the swim season I started seeing some hairline cracks, etc. I called the owner again but, he had just lost a loved one. So, I gave him several months before asking him to send them back out. They did eventually come out & fixed the areas. Once swimming season started again I started seeing all kinds of hair line cracks, a rather large crack by the steps & some sort of gouge right by the top step. Again, ""adequate"" seems to be the new norm.

They walked us through the showroom and were very patient and helpful when it came to the many choices that went into our remodel. They were also extremely knowledgeable when it came to questions about style and what would add resale value to our home. All of there employees are equally friendly and Antonio's craftsmanship and work ethic are second to none. Based on my initial experience with their "designer" Tiffany, I am not impressed at all. She…read morestarted off asking me a few questions about my project, what I needed done, and what my budget was going to be. I told her I needed the kitchen, master bathroom and guest bathroom remodeled. Mind you, there will be no major floor plan changes, plumbing changes, nor electrical changes, so permits will not be needed at all for this 2200 sqft home. All I am doing is replacing what is there. My kitchen is about 14' x 14' with cabinets along two opposite walls, with a 7 foot peninsula coming out of one end, with upper cabinets only on one wall. The first thing she does is take my address and goes online to find pictures of my house on a real estate website to "guestimate" what my kitchen will cost based on photos that she looks at. She tells me $50,000. That's when I got suspicious about this place. I had three other estimates for my kitchen with measurements actually taken and they all came in around $25000. But the real kicker came when she gave me estimates for my two bathrooms based on photos again. Mind you, she has no idea of the sizes for these bathrooms, but based on the overall square footage, she knows it's not a 5000+ sqft home. For my guest bathroom, which is about 13' x 6', all I need replaced is the vanity, mirror, lights, toilet, and the alcove tub with tiling in the tub area, a simple job and nothing major. She quotes me $40,000. I nearly passed out, and now I'm thinking something is up. For the master bath, which is approximately 17' x 7' which includes a 6' x 5' shower (with interior tiling), two vanities, mirrors, and lights. She quotes me $60,000. Yes that's right, $60,000. That's when I knew something was up. (A) She either has no clue as to what she is doing, (B) they are giving me these outlandish prices because they are in high demand due to these times we are in at the moment and they just want to throw the highest most ridiculous price out there hoping it will stick, and if doesn't, no sweat off their back because they will just move on to someone who will pay their outlandish prices due to the demand, or (C) she was trying to dissuade me into wanting them to do the job because my budget ($50,000) wasn't worth their time and effort. I think (C) is most likely, if not all the above. Then come to find out there is a $5500 fee to have someone come out to take measurements in order to draw up a pretty design on a computer to get actual true estimates of what this project would cost. So you can see why I'm thinking (C). Please note, If you go to their page on Houzz you will see nothing but all 5 star reviews, not a 4 star or lower in site, and you will also see multiple completed projects with the same level of remodel I proposed, all done for under $50,000, completely proving my point. I will definitely be staying away, and finding a more honest business!

***UPDATE**** Seven weeks after the remodel, Maxum did the…read moreright thing and replaced the granite with the cracked countertop with the exact granite that was installed. I am now satisfied. We had our master bathroom remodeled. One week after completion of bathroom remodel, we noticed the granite countertop was cracked the entire width. They sent someone out to repair, but we weren't satisfied with how it looked as it was still very noticeable. They agreed to replace the counter but said they would not replace with the same granite as the only piece available was larger and more expensive. We thought that would be okay. I received an email a few days later stating "the guys have found a piece to match what you have. They are going to pick it up and start fabrication again." I waited 2 weeks before contacting again to see where we were with progress. I received a call later that day and was told they wanted me to look at the granite to make sure I was satisfied. Apparently the piece was not in fabrication as I was told. Won't go into details regarding the meeting not happening as scheduled. We saw the slab, and it was darker, and thinner than our original granite. At first we said okay. And when asked when we could expect it to be done, we were not given a clear answer. But as my husband and I thought about it, we contacted them and canceled the replacement, as we did not think we would be happy with the replacement and felt that since the crack was discovered so soon after completion, it should have been replaced with the same granite we had chosen, and we would just have to live with the crack. Our big mistake was handing over the final payment before looking over everything with a fine tooth comb. This was our first remodel. It took three weeks and they finished late on the final day. We were all tired. But it seems once that final payment was made, we no longer mattered and they were pretty much done with us and on to the next project.
