See out other review that yelp considers not recommended. Gorilla has not completed the job they started in 2015, yes, 2015. They were sending a single guy out 2x a week for about 4 hrs a day, but now they are not even showing up. If you contact me I will share our experience along with photos of the quality we received, and can share all of the public records I have received from the ROC that I would suggest you review - whether you have signed a contract with them or are considering it. read more

Gorilla built our 2400 SF custom home and we are pleased with the results. Anthony is great to work with, responds quickly, and does his best to resolve any issues. The estimate was competitive and fair. Quality materials are used to build a beautiful home. read more

Jeff Suer with Gorilla Builders built our home. My husband and I designed our home and Jeff took it from pencil and paper to reality. There were a few hiccups during our build as with any builder, inwhich Jeff (the owner) always addressed our issues in a timely matter. We are extremely happy with the quality and workmanship of our home that Jeff builds! We highly recommend Gorilla Builders if you are looking for a new build or remodel of your home. Thank you Jeff for making our forever home so beautiful. We appreciate your honesty and integrity! Mark and Sandra read more

Very satisfied with the crews that built my garage. A little longer then I expected but that's because of permit bureaucracy

We have waited over two years for an RV garage to be built. Still not completed. It has caused delays in getting other needed work done on our house. We have heard other projects for this builder are done but ours is not. So far the work done seems good. I will update my rating when work is complete. read more

Jeff and the Gorilla Builders gang built me a super high quality 4600 sq ft monster garage. The quality is amazing, Everyone who comes and sees it is blown away. I enjoyed working with Jeff on designing it and through the build process. He delivered above and beyond on my garage and I highly recommend Gorilla Builders. You will not find a higher quality or more customer friendly builder. I am an engineer and a very demanding customer and he handled me well! Jeff is honest and a straight shooter. Thanks Jeff for building me my dream garage. Tom read more

Gorilla Builders - The 4600 Sq Ft Garage Gorilla Builders built for me. - General Contractors Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

If I could give 10 stars I would. From start to finish Gorilla Builders did an AMAZING job. This is our first custom build and we could not be any happier. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. They always answered our calls and had great communication. There were a few setbacks, however that was due from covid not from Gorilla Builders on getting material. If you're looking for a company that takes pride in the work, I would highly recommend Gorilla Builders. read more

Gorilla Builders just completed an awesome 1840 SF custom detached RV garage for us. We are extremely pleased with the result, we got an excellent garage for a very competitive price. Jeff was very knowledgeable and fair to deal with. It was a difficult permitting process due to the grading & drainage requirements for our subdivision but they persevered and got it done. Bottom line, if I needed to do it again, I would still go with Gorilla Builders. read more

Gorilla Builders built us a 1500sqft detached RV garage. They did a great job staying within budget, handling all of the permitting. Timeline was doubled due to lack of trades available, but Jeff communicated well to keep me up to date. Bob oversaw majority of project and was awesome to work with. Overall I am very pleased with the end result and was done at a very reasonable price. read more

I had some issues with a shop that Jeff and the guys at Gorilla Builders built for me and I left a not so good review. Jeff called me and we sat down and came to a mutual agreement that perhaps a lack of communication on both sides had brought us to this point. Jeff made the point that his bottom line was that he will not leave a client unhappy. We agreed on a plan and even though my shop was several months past the warranty, Jeff and the guys stepped up and fixed all the issues that we agreed on. It's easy for a company to tell you about their great integrity and customer service but the proof in their actions and Jeff and the guys at Gorilla Builders practice those standards every day. Thank you Jeff, I won't ever hesitate to recommend Gorilla Builders to my friends. read more

We had a detached garage built by Gorilla Builders, the entire experience was good. I would recommend them to anyone, and I am very selective! -Dave, 206-650-8304 read more

We used Gorilla Builders to do a home addition. Were there times we wished the schedule could be expedited- yes, did we run into problems that had to be negotiated- yes. We were probably naive to the construction/contracting process so posiblly these frustrations are par for the course. Ultimately we have a 2bedroom 500sq ft addition that we love. We have had many people tell us that it looks like the addition was part of the original home- the ultimate compliment in my opinion! Since completion of the project we have had two very minor issues that Jeff (the owner) has very promptly taken care of. We had electricians at our home to look into and fix without question within one day. read more

We contracted with them for a relatively simple home addition that was suppose to take 4-6 weeks. They stuck a huge sign in our yard, mostly advertising, saying they needed it for the building permits. We thought, all right, they will be starting on this soon. It has now been over six months. Without constant calls and reminders, they do nothing. Initially they said they had to wait for inspections, which sounded reasonable, but we realized the inspectors came out right after they were called. Gorilla was just using it as an excuse to take a month off. We've also had issues with theft by their subcontractors that they refused to take responsibility for. The quality of their work is certainly adequate, but in the time it has taken for our one room addition, a four story office building has gone up around the corner. read more

Jeff the owner was a very nice and fair person. Due to a bad architect we had to make many onsite changes to accommodate issues in the plans. Jeff was fair with negotiating compromises for these changes and his crew ultimately got the house built. At the end of the day I have a beautiful approximate 4,400 sqft home on a great piece of land for a good price. Word to the wise, never try and buy stock plans and modify them and make sure your architect is top notch. I did not want to pay the .30-.45 cents per sqft all the good architects wanted, but now I wish i would have. read more

Jeff and the team are great! They helped us build a HIGH QUALITY dream home and we couldn't be happier! The city of Surprise was difficult to work with and Jeff helped us through all of the difficult permits and inspections. Jeff also got a better price on our cabinets and really had our best interest throughout the build. Crystal, Tom, Steve, Anthony and Aaron were so helpful and nice and the sub-contractors did a great job (especially Brandon and his team of electricians). Thank you for everything!! We recommend Gorilla to everyone! read more

We have been in our beautiful custom home for a year now. We are so happy with our home and Jeff's entire crew at Gorilla Builders. They were all friendly, polite and did a great job. When we moved to Arizona, we purchased property and began our search for a custom home builder. We came with plans in hand and proceeded to interview and get bids from several builders. The house plan was our design so we knew what the finished product should be. Some of the builders were not going to allow us to be on the property during the build. Out of three other bids we had, Gorilla builders was extremely competitive and more than open to our input and presence during the building process. Tom (job superintendent), Anthony and Steve were extremely easy to work with. The total footprint of the house is 8400 sq ft under roof including a 6 car garage and patio. We had a few changes from the original quote and were able to negotiate. Now that we have moved into our new house, it truly is a custom quality build. Jeff was very accommodating with installation of all the custom lighting and an antique door that we brought with us. We certainly recommend talking with Jeff and Crystal when considering a custom home builder. If we have future building projects, we will definitely be calling Gorilla Builders. I just signed a contract with Gorilla Builders to build a new custom home. I was very impressed with how professional they are and their price was more than competitive, far lower then other general contractors. I was planning on being a owner builder but after talking to Jeff I decided it would be very nice to have a builder with his reputation behind me. I also saved $10,000 on my loan by having a general contractor as my builder. read more

Had a crack in my driveway after one year in our new house. Gorilla came out right away and fixed the crack. Looks good. Can barely tell where the repair is read more

I hired Gorilla Builders to complete an extension for my garage. It was an unusual job as I was adding onto an existing building. Thus they had to work to match finishes and the existing structure. I worked with a lot of contractors prior to the hiring of Gorilla and chose them because they are a builder, not just a contractor. What i mean by that is most of the people on site were employees of Gorilla, not just subs. They did a great job and I am very pleased with the quality, pricing and service. The project took a pretty long time to complete, but we had many rain delays which is unusual for Arizona and I changed my mind on the original plan. I would certainly use the Gorilla again for future projects and am confident that they would do a great job. Special shout out to their concrete team. They had to do some pretty impressive changes to the grade and design of my driveway. they warned me in advance how things could go wrong, and the risks in the design. But, it turned out great at completion. read more

We hired Gorilla Builders to build a shop separate from our home. When we first approached them, the owner of the company, Jeff Suer, was the individual we spoke with. We stopped by their office to sign the detailed contract and went over it from beginning to end. The process was put in place and the permits obtained, building was started, and we now have a wonderful functional shop. We were truly impressed with the quality of the build from beginning to end. Each worker was friendly and knew exactly what they were doing and completed the job over and above all expectations. If we had a question during the build all we did was call Jeff who was readily available. Thank you Gorilla Builders, Jeff, Hector, Tom, Bob, all you guys! read more

Absolutely gorgeous stand alone 2400 sq ft garage looks like it was built with the original home. Extremely happy with Gorilla Builders and are considering another project - full home - with them now. From start to finish, design, permits, appropriate contracts/paperwork, follow-up and quality was outstanding. While it didn't happen overnight, a good quality job takes time and is worth the wait. Jeff Suer and team went well above and beyond expectations. read more

My lifelong dream (as a car guy) was to build a garage to store my toys. I shopped around, looking for best price, and along the way, was provided with a reference for Gorilla Builders. As it turned out, Gorilla provided the lowest price, yet still built me the most badass garage on the planet!! 2x6 construction, studs everywhere, and 100% quality. Like ALL builds, there were a few small issues along the way. Gorilla (Jeff) literally wouldn't allow me to be unhappy, fixed everything. and delivered an awesome product. The funny thing is that once he was all done, I joked with my dad that the garage was too nice to park anything in, and that we should have Gorilla build a 2nd garage purely for the storage of my toys. If I build anything in the future, I won't even bother shopping for another builder - Gorilla will be my builder for life. Jeff is an awesome owner, and was a pure pleasure to work with. His staff is awesome as well (Aaron and Hector in particular). 5 stars!! read more

My first encounter with Gorilla Builders was in May 2009. I was purchasing a foreclosure and wanted to remodel it into very nice property with an RV Garage. So I called Gorilla Builders to get an estimate and ideas.I was shocked to call their phone and a live person actually answered the phone...even better it was the owner. We talked and set up a time to review property and building ideas. So not only do they answer the phone ...they show up right on time for an appointment .Gorilla Builders was full of great remodel ideas ..workmanship was top notch...personal were friendly and trustworthy because I was out of town during most of the construction.Things were kept as clean and neat as you can on a construction project. Now I have a wonderful property to enjoy. It was a rewarding and fun experience. Let me put it this way.....if I do more projects in the future.. I will have Gorilla Builders do them. read more
