This project included both removal of existing concrete and replacement with pavers, as well as overlaying and extending a backyard patio. It took us a long time to find a project vendor we felt comfortable with. Their portfolio of work is long and I immediately felt in good hands with PHX Pavers and Landscaping. PHX Paver even helped us with a small sitting area (pad) in the rear of our yard. Thank you for the experience and I would wholeheartedly recommend PHX Paver for any landscape hardscape project in the valley.

He provided several addresses that we could go look at it which really helped us narrow our options. The big plus here is that Chris and his crews followed through on all promises and every detail discussed. Our large driveway and motor court turned out exactly as expected, on time and on budget. The color and design choices that Chris helped with look great and match our house and landscape as expected. And to top it off, the final clean up crew did a great job, putting everything back to normal. We highly recommend PHX Pavers.

Originally we were going to have the posts dug into the ground, 3 posts and attached to our house roof and then I was going to hire out pavers to be placed under the structure. In the end, I went unpermitted with posts attached to the top of a cement pad. We went through another company for the cement pad. Install only took one day, just as they said. I am thrilled with the interactions I had with the installers and Manny in particular. If you call them you'll reach someone or they will return your message. My favorite is that you can text them and that they check their email frequently. Sadly, after 3 days or so of patio structure ownership something fell from the sky, be it a stray bullet or a small rock from the sky, I really have no idea. It went through the roof. I contacted the company and they came out and repaired it right away at no cost. They used caulk from below and above. They checked everything out. They painted the area to color match. Then, they left me with cans of spray paint that color matched in case anything else happened in the future. Our structure is 26x12 with 4 posts and because it took so long for all the permitting and cement pouring the material costs changed. They actually kept the original material costs! I originally paid for 6 posts and they easily returned money for the 2 posts we didn't need. I would recommend them for sure.

I have a complex roof and a medium to large home. When I needed estimates for my roof replacement, I added Ready Roofing into the four estimates I received. When I was comparing the estimates, I did not just go on price, I reviewed references, the quality of the workman used and the materials being spec'd out for the complete job. I also went with my gut feeling for the people with whom I spoke and their professionalism. I was working with a neighbor down the street and we were comparing notes as he too was looking to have his roof replaced. For the same reasons we both chose Ready Roofing. Steve was in constant contact with us and let us know what to expect, when and who would be running our job. His teams were neat, on time and very professional. They cleaned up after themselves every day and were able to finish the job on the early side of the estimate. There were no added surprises for the final bill. Roofing can be a costly expense and is typically one of the most dreaded repairs a home owner faces. I would recommend Ready Roofing and Steve without reservation.

This was an awesomely positive experience, which is unfortunately rare these days…read more Sunset provided a quote by email, after I provided words and pictures to describe what we were looking for. Their guys showed up on time. They were courteous. They were respectful of us, and respectful of our home. They asked for our input when they got to a part that required some judgement. They performed mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and drywall work. All done nearly to perfection. And they passed the acid test; after they left, I noticed two small things which I thought could have done better. They returned immediately and made these right. And they sent an invoice almost a week later (giving us an opportunity to discover any other issues, which we did NOT), and the invoice was for the exact amount of the estimate. They accepted my credit card payment over the phone. Our job was a small one, but they have definitely encouraged us to contact them again for our next job - small or large. From start to finish, Jeff and his crew delivered on every promise -- on time, on budget, and with craftsmanship that exceeded our expectations. The scope of work was significant: full lawn re-landscaping with new rock, a beautiful new paver patio, an outer patio and porch extension, and a walkway connecting the driveway to the back patio. On top of that, they installed a full irrigation system serving all our trees, shrubs, and pots in both the front and back yards. It's a lot of work -- and they made it look effortless. Jeff, the owner, was a pleasure to work with from day one. He was communicative, professional, and clearly passionate about doing things right. We weren't sure what we could afford since we had a modest budget, but Mike came out and discussed the possibilities of our kitchen design. He followed up with drawings and several budget options. I never thought I'd be so excited by drawings, but they helped us to help visualize what the kitchen could be before the work even started. We worked with him on the design, and soon after his crew got started. They communicated well on what to expect, stayed on schedule, and the work is beautiful! His crew has such a high attention to detail and beautiful craftsmanship. I felt like he treated the job like his own kitchen. I engaged 2nd Avenue Design by email in February. I specifically asked if they did engineering…read more Michael at 2nd Ave responded by email saying, "yes this is something we do a lot." I subsequently met with Michael. He came to my home and we discussed the project. He said he would write a bid for the job. This is where we started to have problems with communication and follow up. I had to ask for the bid after it was due. Miraculously he sent it after I asked. I decided to use 2nd Ave and gave a deposit to start the process with the agreement that work would begin by June 1st. Between my first contact with Michael at 2nd Ave and now (July 15th) I've had to hound him for updates and communication. He said he was having a difficult time finding an engineer. He brought one by finally (an engineer who he never worked with) and the engineer kept asking me what I wanted and he had no solutions except to put large obtrusive posts and beams in after jackhammering my foundation. Clearly this is not what I discussed with Michael and it was clearly a lazy solution for the engineer. No work has ever been started and my last text to Michael on July 5th was ignored until July 14th when I texted again and asked for my deposit back. I'm sure 2nd Ave is good at ripping out your old kitchen and putting a new one in when it's just new cabinets and appliances. But they definitely are not your company if you need any thought put into your project. I would not recommend 2nd Avenue Design for any project other than anything very simple.
