I came in here to study with a friend and I am pretty impressed with the service that is offered here. The people working were always willing to go farther and help their customers out. Also, they would consistently check up on me to make sure if I needed anything and even offered a cup of water. While I was there, I saw a big dog come and the workers even went outside and catered to the dog by bringing out a doggy bowl with water and you can tell the dog was really happy he got treated so well too. This is exactly what this area needs. No where near the mall/ citrus park is there a proper drive thru coffee house. The coffee is delicious (I had an iced latte) and the staff are even better. First of all, I wanted to sit outside, but the tables and chairs were all chained and locked together. I assume they forgot to set them up in the morning, but I went there a second time, and saw that they were all locked together that time too. I guess they don't really want people sitting outside! I ordered an iced soy latte the first time I was there. It was huge, but it didn't taste very good. And it was kind of weird how fast they made it- I ordered it, and it was ready before I even put my debit card back in my wallet. I'm pretty sure pulling espresso shots takes a little longer than that! Maybe they had the shots pre-made or something. Gross. A nice little coffee shop in the Citrus Park area! I am always looking for a good local coffee shop to do work or relax in. It is a quaint little cafe located in a strip mall. If you don't lookout for it, you will probably pass by it. Though, I'm glad I didn't. It is definitely a no frills kind of place, with a the decor that is very homy. I sat there for a couple of hours on my computer and had no trouble getting some work done while enjoying my coffee. They have a pretty standard menu of coffee shop drinks (ie. lattes, mochas, expressos ect.). The really nice thing about this place is the local baked items. They are made in small batches and vary everyday. Though if you are looking for one of those super sugary and caffeine filled blended drink this place is probably up your alley. They have a pretty wide selection. I personally didn't try any of those, but they look pretty good. I did get a large vanilla latte and it was made fairly well. They do use the standard syrups that most places use. They also have smoothies which a lot of people seemed to be ordering. Bottomline, stop by if you need to get a nice caffeine fix. This is a beautiful, cozy little coffee shop nestled on Gunn Highway. Apparently its very popular for drive through, which is good news for me because I always get a table to sip and nosh at my leisure. The first thing I got here was what I think is their signature drink: the Sips Mocha. The best I can describe it is a white chocolate caramel mocha. When it comes to taste and presentation, they do not skimp. This delicious drink was sweet and creamy and gloriously topped off with a thick cloud of whip cream drizzled with caramel. Even at the last drop I was slurping down more caramel. I did take note that they made an assortment of baked goods ranging from muffins, cookies, cheesecakes, cake slices and biscotti, though I didn't get any that time. On my second trip I got myself a custom made latte, which was Irish Cream with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. I paired this with a Base Culture banana bread. As far as coffee houses go, this place totally gets me. Its very flexible with custom drinks if you don't get something from the menu. I was also pleased they carried another great local brand, Base Culture. For those who don't know, its paleo baked good company (paleo is no dairy, no wheat). I have been dying to try them for a long time, so I was stoked to see they carry it! Customer service here is wonderful. The owner greets you when you walk in and he keeps the place very clean. The barista was very sweet and attentive. She even heated up my banana bread. This is definitely a must go in Tampa for coffee. They're open a little later than most independent coffee shops, which is a major plus for me as I'm an overnight nurse! Prices are also very reasonable; my banana bread with large latte was under $8, which is about what one would pay at a more "corporate" coffee place. read more

Cece truly cares about perfection and my latte with almond milk was prepared with precision and care! Only regret is that it took me so long to discover this gem which is walking distance to mi casa. That and a broken keurig brought me here for my much needed caffeine fix. They have live music and free wifi and serve up bagels and pastries. Haven't yet tried the food but will soon. If you asked me why I love Sips enough to give this mom and pop place five stars, I couldn't just give you one answer--it's the package that makes it wonderful, not just any one thing. What can I say? I only did the drive through and felt like a family member. I got a cuppa, cuppa coffee, with hot chocolate, french vanilla & whipped cream..... yummy. They brought me an assortment of various danishes, muffins & assorted goodies, that I just could not resist. I took a coco late chip breakfast bar. This was more than plenty for breakfast & it was filling, fresh & very tasty. Most protien or healthy breakfast bars taste like sawdust, not this one. Tampa needs more little neighborhood coffee shops just like Sips. Qualities like the friendly and welcoming staff coupled with the deliciousness of their drinks and treats are often missed at larger chained coffee shops. It's refreshing to experience an establishment as inviting as they have proven to be. My single complaint is the size of the location. I wish there was additional seating for those busier days. During the late mornings and afternoons there tends to be less staff to tend to orders, so be prepared to wait. I'm typically just a regular coffee drinker, but I've tasted a few of their specialty coffees and lattes and have been thoroughly impressed. Most recently I tried the cupcake latte, which was a little sweeter than I prefer, but otherwise, extremely tasty. I would recommend this with only half the pumps, unless you like sweet drinks. The drive thru is a nice addition to the busier clientele, but it isn't always a quick wait, but it is always worth it!! read more

Always end up getting the best service and coffee here. The sips mocha is wonderful but it is the enthusiastic service that keeps me coming. Supporting local establishments is important to me so I always try to make it here when I am in the area and need some coffee. The small seating areas make it feel a lot more intimate. The added bonus of them having a drive thru is great for those that like that convenience as well. I have yet to have an item off of their drink menu that was not great. One word can accurately describe this place: BASIC. We came here based on the reviews and were so disappointed. When we first walked in, I felt like I was either walking in to my Grandma's house or a nursing home lobby. We ordered two iced lattes and were shocked when they didn't pull fresh shots! That is blasphemy! The kids who helped us were pleasant but appeared as though they were both new to making any kind of coffee. Our lattes were flavorless.
