Was super excited to check out Eclipse Cafe, especially after seeing all the fun coffee and tea options. The girl at the counter was friendly. I ordered the Strawberry Lavender Matcha Cold Foam since I love those flavors and had never tried them combined. I even double checked with the girl that my order was correct because the picture showed a pink cold foam and mine came out white. I wish I had tried it before leaving because all I could taste was matcha. The strawberry and lavender flavors didn't come through at all, which was really disappointing.

Stopped in while on the road to grab coffee and didn't realize this was a mushroom coffee spot (I'm not from Florida, but apparently it's pretty popular there). I didn't order anything with mushrooms and instead went with one of their specialty lattes with cold foam. The drink was very expensive (around $11). Unfortunately, the espresso wasn't my favorite and the cold foam was just okay. The drinks also weren't particularly cute or unique, which is something I usually look for when visiting coffee shops on vacation. Service was fine, but nothing stood out. There are plenty of tables inside if you're looking for a place to sit and get work done, though the interior itself wasn't especially cozy or aesthetic. Overall, it just didn't feel good enough to justify the price point, especially compared to other coffee shops in the area.

We decided to try Eclipse Cafe Sunday morning. The place was clean, had a cool aesthetic, and the staff were very friendly. The food was a bit of a let down for the price. Two of the items we purchased were 3/5 - Asiago bagel and my wife's bagel was fine but not great, the lunar eclipse coffee (3.5/5) was good but not over the top. The pistachio latte was spectacular and the waffles in a cup were such a great idea, delicious, and perfect for kids. Chocolate milk is always a hit. I'd not recommend this place if you want breakfast (with the exception of the waffles in a cup, or whatever in a cup you decide). If you just want a cup of coffee or one of their more exotic drinks I'd recommend this spot.

This poor cafe has been through it. It went from tiny, hometown owned restaurant to a larger corporation type place and back to small business. And we know I love a small business so here I am. The remodeling is pretty good. Very intentionally moon themed which makes it a bit dark but not necessarily bad. It's pretty and I enjoy that. I also like that they're obviously trying to make it a welcoming atmosphere. Theres even a corner of games and books and puzzles so you can settle in and enjoy your treats while being social - or not so social! The food options aren't a super wide variety and they're very egg heavy - as a non egg eater i was worried, but there's a couple of savory non egg options that looked really good. I ended up with a creme brulee filled sugar donut and it was definitely a good choice. Rich and sweet and delicious. Drink wise, their focus is on mushroom coffee which isn't really my thing, but they also have some safer latte and coffee options for those of us who aren't as adventurous. I got the Almond Joy this time - really tasty but beware the chunks of shredded coconut because I wasnt prepared for those coming up my straw! The servers were very sweet. I ordered to go and the service was quick and efficient and they were happy to help. I hope this is the last change to this location for a while because I enjoyed my visit and hope to keep coming back!

Came here for their fun Halloween coffees and intrigued by the functional mushrooms in them. My friend got the caramel apple iced coffee and WOW, DELICIOUS. Id come back just for that. I did try one of their features Halloween coffees and was disappointed it didn't come with the red icing, syringe shot or candy bones! Definitely disappointing because it lost the novelty. Overall though staff was very friendly and the inside was super cute. I do love supporting small coffee shops. I will be back but will probably skip any featured holiday drinks. Otherwise definitely give them a try!! The functional coffee concept is amazing and new for the area

Came here with a friend to cowork. Service was prompt and friendly, they had a ton of options, even beyond coffee: Red bull refreshers, teas, mushroom drinks, and snacks. I ordered a pistachio latte and a bagel with cream cheese. They were both ready quickly; the latte was delcious and the bagel was decent. They had a lot of comfy working spaces and wifi was good. Would recommend this place for a drink or a good working space!

The Lion's Mane Latte is smooth and earthy--surprisingly refreshing. The Tiramisu Latte feels like sipping dessert without the sugar overload. Friendly staff, chill vibe, and great for a quick escape or hangout.

Such a great spot! They've got a wide variety of amazing coffee drinks and refreshers, plus tasty breakfast sandwiches and desserts. The service was incredibly welcoming--everyone was super friendly, patient while I ordered, and even offered great recommendations. I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I walked in!

Came here on my remote day of work. The coffee girl at the front worked with me to make me a custom drink that was specifically half-caf. Add-ons are BOGO right now. I added Lion's Mane and Reishi. Wifi is strong and easy to connect. It's a quiet space. Music is not too loud like it is at Starbucks. The space is also very spacious so you definitely can find your corner in the cafe to lock in and get work done. Cinnamon coffee cake is super soft and has a wonderfully strong cinnamon flavor. They service here is super chill and they staff is so accommodating.

I love this location and they've been going through names and owners quickly, but the drinks and food always are amazing. I loved my reese's latte and my mom enjoyed her strawberry refresher. The place is still being redone but i'm sure it'll look even cooler soon. This is my favorite location to sit and study, the vibes are always amazing, the workers are super sweet, and the music is always good.

Love this new cafe! I try to stop by at least once a week now for their strawberry lavender cold foam brew, it's become my go-to treat. On my first visit, one of the baristas helped me choose something I'd like, and she absolutely nailed it. I'm slowly making my way through the breakfast menu, and everything I've tried has been delicious. The banana nut muffin is incredible, today we the chicken chile burrito, the pesto provolone, and the Swiss and egg sandwich on a bagel, all were amazing! The staff here is genuinely the best, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting; if I worked from home, I'd definitely spend a day here. The only thing that could make it better? A few cute photo-worthy corners or setups as I'd love to snap a few fun pics during my visits.

I was very excited to try this hip looking coffee bar and with the mushroom enhancers offered. I got an iced latte- with two types of mushroom enhancers. They had buy one get one. The coffee was amazing. I had the chicken chili verde burrito- it was okay. I was expecting it to be a little spicier but still good. lastly, I got the cutest hat! I will definitely be back for the coffee- everyone was so welcoming! Customer service top tier!

However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. I've brought people coffee from here, and each person has agreed that it's some of the best we've had in Tampa recently. The ambiance is interesting - it's in a kitchen store. But it works! Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.

We chose to sit on the patio and waited for nearly 30 minutes without a single employee checking on our table. The line inside was all the way to the door, so at first we assumed someone would eventually come by, take our order, or at least acknowledge us. Instead, we watched multiple tables on both sides of us receive service while our table was completely ignored. Eventually, we ordered through the QR code on the menu. What wasn't clear is that QR code orders are apparently treated exactly like takeout orders. When our first item was ready, it was handed to us in a plastic container inside a bag. We explained that we were dining in, not taking food to go. I specifically asked a staff member named Graham if the remaining 3 dishes could simply be served on regular plates. He told me "that wasn't possible and that QR code orders automatically come in to-go containers". That explanation made very little sense considering we were sitting at a table in the restaurant. A few minutes later, one of my friends flagged down another server, who had no issue arranging for the food to be served on actual plates. That inconsistency was honestly mind-blowing. To make things even stranger, one coffee arrived in a ceramic mug while the rest came in disposable to-go cups. Nothing about the service felt organized or logical. As for the food, it was fine. Not bad, but nothing particularly memorable or worth making a special trip for. Given that I drove about an hour and paid tolls to visit, I definitely won't be making that drive again. I understand places get busy, but basic service still matters. If you're asking customers to tip when ordering through a QR code, serving dine-in food on actual plates instead of plastic takeout containers doesn't seem like an unreasonable expectation. There are simply too many other coffee shops with better service for me to return. 3 stars because the atmosphere was decent and the food was okay, but the service was disappointing from start to finish.
