The deal is great--$35 for members and $50 for non-members--for a 4-hour session (5-9 PM). This location offers so much for kids to enjoy, including an indoor ninja warrior gym and a multi-level play gym with thick netting and slides to climb and explore. They even have electronics for watching shows, which is perfect for kids who might prefer a more introverted vibe. I was a bit hesitant at first since we hadn't done any parent night outs before, but our kid was raving about how much fun they had when we picked them up. They loved the idea of a special event at the gym without parents--it made them feel like it was their own little adventure. Also was worn out when we collected them around 8:30 and slept well! This experience has definitely opened our eyes to participating in more of these events in the future. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're on the fence--your kids might love it as much as ours did!

The studio is clean, with the right amount of fitness equipment, good vibes and background music. I really like the fact that I am not entertainment for the people on the cardio equipment, like in a gym atmostphere. Also there are not guys staring you while you are working out. I have not repeated the same exercise twice. It is a full body workout with an emphasis in core training that is fun and challenging. John stretches you before and after the workout and provides Myofascial release with a foam roller. Now I can say, I now feel energized after my workouts. I have had 5 other personal trainers in my past and, I have to say, never have I received results so quickly. I am not talking about the beefy, bulky muscles, but lean, long, sexy fit bod, which are my desired results. I have been training with Fitness Aspects for 7 weeks, twice a week and the rates are very reasonable. I decided to seek John's help due to an accumulation of various pains and wanted my 20 something year old butt back. I rarely feel my pain anymore and I am able to enjoy running with an increase vigor. John is so likeable and motivating, I really feel he cares about his clients. I so look forward to my workouts. I have recommended Fitness Aspects to closest of friends because I know they will be taken care of and get results. If you are looking to make a change in your life, please give John a call. Notes regarding previous reviewer concerns: John has a Purell dispenser by the front door now. His bathroom has a chair in it and it is large enough to comfortably change your clothes in.

At that point, I had persistent sciatica pain which, while not disabling, really impacted my day. As a psychotherapist, I sit all day for my job. I had started running at 48 and loved the way it made me feel--strong and "lighter"--but got a compression injury and had back surgery--which didn't help. Working with John has literally transformed my life. He is an expert trainer who is an expert in exercise physiology and nutrition. I realize now that I probably did not need surgery --the key to relieving my back pain was strengthening my core. I am now largely pain free and feel so much better. It's hard to sum up John's level of expertise in a brief post--he understands physiology, nutrition, and the body in a way no PT or orthopedic doctor seemed to. His classes are group classes but each exercise is tailored to each person's level of conditioning, strength, and injury profile. It is like having an individual trainer with the fun of a small group workout. I have learned how working out with incorrect form can cause injury. My body is strong, I have no back pain, and my overall health is improved. My goal has been overall health rather than "weight loss" --I am in my 50's and my focus is on reducing my stress, enjoying my life, and feeling healthy. I URGE YOU TO GIVE JOHN A TRY!!!

When I signed up, I was led to believe that personal training would function similarly to the regular gym membership (flexible or term-based). Unfortunately, it was not clearly explained that personal training comes with a separate long-term contract and very different cancellation terms. What's most concerning is that I attempted to cancel before the personal training contract even began, after realizing the terms were not what I had understood. Despite this, I was told there was nothing they could do and that I was locked into the agreement. This felt very misleading and lacked transparency. The differences between the membership and personal training contract should have been clearly explained upfront. I have since filed (or am in the process of filing) a complaint with the Virginia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Section. I would strongly advise anyone considering personal training here to carefully review all terms and ask detailed questions before signing anything.

That being said, let me tell you I've never learned how to work out as well as I have learned at this gym. I have never been stronger or felt more sculpted, even on my very bad weeks personally. And I think that has so much more to do with their top level trainers. This review is mostly about their trainers. I work with their female trainer Kirsten who really stop at nothing to make sure that you get your desired results. We have talked about everything from food to sleep to nutrition, hydration. Personally, i've never had a personal trainer before but I paid an insane amount of money for a trainer for my mother at lifetime, and let me tell you it's night and day difference. And at a fraction of the cost. The trainers at this gym collaborate together and share ideas to try to make sure every person is getting a solid pump. They they are engaged in your process, your form, your weights lifted. I'm so glad I found this gym when i moved. Clean, organized, open 24 hours. If I had one quam, I would just say you still have to use a card to get in and I don't always have that. Most places just use your phone now I recommend getting the personal training if you really want to start seeing results quickly and get a jump start. It sounds expensive at first, but i've broken down the cost and it's totally worth it and especially compared to other gyms, tbh they're double the value for a much lesser price. Especially with Kirsten or ryan. This is what a small business should act like. Gem 10/10

I came in for my regular workout around 8:00 PM and started a warm-up on a machine in the personal training area. I understand that this area is prioritized for personal training between 6 AM and 7:30 PM, but at that time (8pm)there wasn't anyone using this specific machine. I even asked another member nearby, who confirmed he was not using it. A trainer with tag name under Michael L approached me in a very aggressive and confrontational manner. I had my headphones on and barely heard him yelling out, but before I could even respond, he walked up and pretty much forcefully pulled the machine cord and told me to leave this machine because he claimed to be using it for his trainee. What made the situation worse was that even the trainees he was working with appeared uncomfortable, and another member who witnessed the interaction told me not to mind him and kindly offered me his machine instead. This was a very disappointing experience and not the level of professionalism I expect from someone representing this gym. I hope management addresses this, as it reflects poorly on an otherwise good facility.

I've been going here for five years. The owners have gone through instructors like a 90 minute class goes through wipes. They have come to the point where they are shipping in coaches from DC and MD. Where do I begin? You walk in and the front desk is too busy talking about what's in their milkshake to greet you. Then you're waiting around a cluttered lobby with two piles of lost and found. The decorations from Christmas are still up. They have 39 spots for the class but only 4 coat hooks. The water fountain spits out warm water which tastes like it was run through the gym shorts of the previous class. Suggestion, it might be time to clean out those pipes! The class itself is a popularity contest. The regulars (people who suck up to the coaches and assume they can bully other class members) like to talk at a decibel higher than the music to update each other on which pre school is the best, which Range Rover car salesman has the hots for them and which "Starbies" they are going to after class. The workouts have gotten more repetitive and the music sucks. Please avoid and wait till the next fad gym comes through.

Also, it seems to me to be a wide range of ages and fitness levels.
