Well, first of all, I adopted my dog through them. He's adorable. Owners are very dedicated to their work in rescue, as well as to being a hub in the neighborhood. If you bring your dog, they'll give them treats and it's a social spot as well Prices are just a tiny bit more than regular stores or especially online crappy places like chewy, but I know that my money is going to a local business that does good work and I always shop there They are wonderful and if you go in there, kindness, courtesy, and I'll freeze sample or two Can't say enough good things about these people read more

Echo Bark, Inc - cody my dog from REAL BARK adoption - Pet Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

If you know about the owner, you'll love this place. I popped in here 10 yrs ago when I first visited LA and now I live down the street and thankful it's still around. One of the few dog rescue x store places that holds up well. I know a few and I'm not that impressed. Yes, I sometimes have no idea why I only have 3 things in my hands and spent $80. But I come back at least once a month and buy something that I know is over $5 more here than a regular petco. Don't get me wrong, petco's not beneath me-- they also have nice staff and they keep prices affordable so you can spoil your sweet pet, but it's also important to acknowledge that saving & showing up for animals with decency, is expensive. Gotta support the people who do it for the love of it, not the bank roll. read more

Selections for both Cat and Dog feel equally loved and cared about. I worked for a pet supply store and I can safely say the owners and crew make this place special. I have a wonderful experience every visit. read more

The cat loves chewing ear phone wires and has a lot of energy. I asked for a toy she would like playing with. Friendly employee suggested a string toy and showed me the different varieties. The cat loves the toy! Thank you Echo Bark employees! read more

I've been here a few times, and the customer service is consistently amazing. They have a parking lot at the back, but parking can get tricky during busy hours or on the weekend. They are very knowledgeable about different treats and needs for dogs and cats- it's clear the staff loves and cares about animals. This store has a great variety of products at reasonable prices. The quality of their products is also noteworthy. I got a few items here, and they gave me some freebies for my dogs to try. In addition, they also donate to animal causes and promote pet adoptions. This is the type of business I will always support! read more

I HIGHLY recommend Echo Bark. Prices are reasonable, staff is amazingly kind and helpful, and everyone truly cares about animals. Supporting this small business also helps support the animal rescue, the Real Bark. They also have loyalty programs. I buy 12 big bags of dog food and the 13th is free! Parking is easy, in the back parking lot. Always a welcoming and happy face here, and many begging to humans. I can't say enough good about Echo Bark. Food, treats, toys, every supply item you'd want is here. Cats have a place here, dogs have a place here, and good will definitely is here. read more

Found a sweet kitty by my pool today and brought her in.. Needed to get some supplies and popped in here while trying to pick up some passes from Brain Dead. I'm a Glassell Park gal, but honestly, the guy working in the shop was such an Angel and so hopefully, I might trek over here to support. He happily helped me pick a good litter + box and even threw me a few food samples because he knew I was fostering. He was just in an all around good mood with all his customers and I really appreciated that. Just wanted to pop in and leave my appreciation! Thank you! read more

Love this place and what they do and stand for. Shop at Echo Bark and help some rescue animals please! Service was on point and they had everything I was looking to fill my bag to take to someone fostering a dog. read more

I stole my owners phone and wrote this review because I want all the humans out there to know how much your pet would love for you to go to this store!! My humans felt very taken care of and safe (with all this covid running around). They brought home some of the best treats I've tasted in a while and got me and my sisters some pretty cool toys! I would say if you're a human, definitely go and get your pet a fun treat...and if you're a cat, what's your Instagram handle? Love, Paco (2yr old short-haired gray handsome guy) read more

This is such a fabulous small business in the heart of silver lake. They have great product lines and the staff is always so helpful and eager to make sure they carry what you're looking for. Great place read more

Can we FIRST give a nod to the clever name this small business proudly wears? I mean come on--that alone is like, 3 stars. Beyond the products sold here, the people are SO unreasonable nice. A-B-O-V-E and B-E-Y-O-N-D kind, with real engagement (opposed to contrived "customer service"). They are also knowledgeable and offer advice on food and products that may help a dog with something like skin irritation (for example). The positivity in this place is noticeably heavy-handed. I often leave smiling and in a great mood (even though I've only purchased food or whatever). My girlfriend's folks live just around the corner; when her and I visit Silverlake from Oakland, we generally schlep our old-man terror (terrier) with us and bullet down the Grape Vine. While most pet-stores offer quite a bit for dogs and other animals, this business dedicates all of their inventory to dogs. The actual facility is unusually small, but is also not inundated with useless crap people would never buy. Whatever you are in the market for should be relatively easy to find (e.g. toys, quality-food, treats, or grooming products). Althoooough... Passing by this morning, I D I D notice horrible Halloween costumes displayed in the window (see attached image). While I would not have the heart to subject my old-man pup into a pumpkin costume, there are plenty of patrons who would. Probably the same owners who drag their helpless animal-"son" into grocery stores and other inappropriate places animals should probably not be. out of respect for others... (you know who you are; you're not fooling anyone with your fake-ass service animal vest... please get help, your dog needs a break from you!) They also have a welcoming bowl of water for those just passing by. When I do bring my cranky ass old-man dog inside Echo Bark, our pup often leaves stuffed like a thanksgiving turkey full of treats. Various kind-hearted employees toss snacks to him (after politely asking if its okay to feed him). Prices are also reasonably solid, with a few options of "McDonalds" and other fun animal junk-food. It's not unusual for Echo Bark to just GIVE AWAY samples which vendors send the business to try-out. I'm sure there's no ratio, but it has happened a couple times. Never a bad experience, ever. read more

I'm so lucky to live within walking distance of Echo Bark. It's the best pet store I've ever been in. Jeff and Will are not only incredibly friendly and kind but they are so knowledgeable. They stock everything in their store intentionally and by shopping local I've in turn ended buying higher quality food and treats for my dog that are better for her and the environment (and are comparable in price to what I was buying before). I should also note that this is my dog's favorite store in the world since she gets treats and loaded up on pets every time we go in, not to mention all of the samples they give out! One more thing to glow about, Jeff has a wonderful adoption service called the Real Bark that has transformed the lives of so many pets in need. All in all, they are just the best. read more

I stopped by Echo Bark today to pick up a birthday present for my 12 year old cat.. aww, where have the years gone and how did my kitten turn into a middle aged dude? They have a great selection of healthy cat foods like Weruva and BFF. Cute toys as well- we got our bday kitty a fuzzy Platypus that holds cat nip. :) I mentioned I was grabbing a few things for my cat's birthday and the guy who checked us out was so nice and gave us a free can of weruva for our kitties to try and a big sample of grain free dry food. Really love this place, thank you for spoiling our cats! read more

Funny story, I walked into this place for some reason thinking it was an arts and crafts store (it was the end of the day and dark out, that's my defense!). The man who was working there was super friendly and not weirded out at all by my very weird assumption that this was a crafts store. I don't even have a dog. . . x_x He even pointed me in the direction of the nearby King's Roost (which is great, I've been there), so five stars for being friendly and referring good local businesses. You can tell a lot about a business by how they treat their non-customers! read more

Echo Bark is a neighborhood treasure. The staff is friendly and always willing to stock products they don't yet have if you ask. Plus! The staff always remember so much about me and my dog which always bowls me over but also makes it way easier when I am looking at dog beds thinking "wait, how big is my dog?" So thanks Echo Bark for remembering the size of my dog when my spatial awareness is at an all time low. read more

Great shop, thankfully in my hood. Excellent products! We moved back tp town a bit ago and glad to find a shop in our area that sells quality brands! The folks in there are really friendly ! Great, friendly place near my home. I always get free samples when I visit to get my dog's usual food. The employees are nice and courteous.

Had a weird ass experience with the two chicks who, for lack of a better term, dressed like hipster hillbillies. One was munching on literal dog food (no exaggeration) and they were the least helpful and kind of stalked my every move. Gave me hills have eyes vibes which is unfortunate because I really did want to like this spot but they ruined my experience. read more

Echo Bark is such a great space to get meals, treats and toys for our rescue pup Gabby! Everyone that works there has been so kind and helpful to us. This place is amazing. They greeted us right away and in such a friendly manner. My dog is STRONG and we desperately needed a prong collar for her. They sized it for her and gave her so much attention and treats for being so good. Prices are incredibly reasonable and staff is wildly attentive. What a great experience. UPDATE: Still can't think of a single negative thing to say about this place, not that I'm trying. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. We always swing by here even when we don't need anything and they load our dog up with treats and samples for both her and our cat. Sweet little shop where the dog trays are flowing! Nice dudes, very attentive and helpful. Great products.

We happened to walk by one Saturday night and asked if they carry our favorite (hard to find) bully sticks; the owner Jf not only offered to order them, but held them for me to pick up. I'm going in to get them tonight and look forward to seeing what other high-quality treats they carry. They seem to be a great part of the dog community around here! read more
