The Branzino was excellent - crispy skin was well seasoned. The only problem was in the bar area while I was waiting for a table. Music was way to loud and along with a pair of boisterous ladies was not conducive to dining think it was due to lower ceilings in the bar the dining room was much quieter. Well this was my first time at the Henderson location, my boyfriend and I decided to come by for lunch around 2ish, we decided to eat at the bar since my boyfriend is a bartender and I've been in the hospitality industry for more than 12 years. The restaurant only had 2 tables that were taken. When we went to the bar, there was only 4 other guests dining. Initially our bartender was Sarah, she was pleasant and attentive, she did inform us that she was leaving for the day so she just got us water and took our order. Thus moving forward everything lacked except for the food. All of the food was exceptional and delectable. We started off with 2 drinks, finished those and our waters. We waited and waited for someone to come by and ask if we'd like another round and fill up our waters as well. Keep in mind there was more staff then guest in the restaurant, overall food was delicious but I was quite disappointed with a lack of service. -Bone marrow paired beautifully with the carne Asada and the zest from the orange. -Bibb salad was excellent, I enjoyed the bitterness from the radicchio, and I liked that it was a balsamic vinaigrette and not a blue cheese dressing. -Lobster cigars were fantastic -Gnocchi with mint pesto and pan fried peas was truly delicious, it was herbaceous and perfect for the summer time! -We also got the Sea bass a la Planca with Castelvetrano olive oil dipping sauce and a side of roasted broccolini which were both excellent. Wish I could have given them 4 or even 5 stars but the service was truly disappointing, they never checked to see how we were doing or how the food tasted. Great experience. We went here on the 15th for our valentines dinner and loved it. Service was super friendly and personable. We had a little mixup where we'd ordered Mac & Cheese and Pork Belly to come out as an appetizer and mashed potatoes to come out with our entree but the first 2 never came. They noticed it as our entree was coming out and told us there was a mistake but they'd bring us the Mac & Cheese and Pork Belly fresh but that there'd be no charge. I never mind mistakes as long as they care to take reasonable action to fix it, which they absolutely did. My wife and I split the Tomahawk which was amazing. All the food was great. Not sure where to start. The young hostess was very nice. She took us to our table welcomed us to the restaurant asked if we had been here or celebrating anything. She told us Lora would be our waitress. Next the manager Candace stopped by welcomed us, and wished us a happy anniversary. Next Miles welcomed us and gave us water. Lora came also wished us a happy anniversary and told us about the menu, made some recommendations, took our drink and appetizer order. Shortly after brought our drinks and took our dinner order. Don't need to make this extremely long, but we were very impressed watching the staff here. I am guessing it has to do with a wonderful management team. The two stars are for the service. I wanted to love this place so much, it's so close to our house and for a steakhouse it was very reasonable. Our waiter was Michael very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance would be just a meh for me. We ordered the tomahawk to share, our waiter suggested medium rare. I am definitely a medium so is my husband so that's how it was ordered. This was one of the worst steaks we've had in a very long time and I'm still rather confused by it. The outer ring of the steak was completely well done no pink dry and over done by at least an 1/8 of an inch the middle was rare. Our waiter suggested it was because of the thickness of the steak. I smiled and nodded. But this steak was terrible. I can't figure out if it was the quality of the meat or the cook. Perhaps a little of both. For a restaurant that boasts about choosing beef from particular cattle ranch's I was very surprised and disappointed. My husband ate it, but he was hungry enough to eat his shoe for me I think his shoe would have been less tough and chewy. . We took the rest home to the pups. The Mac and cheese was okay. Finally tried Echo & Rig last night, and honestly, we will continue to dine at Hanks when we want steak. Let me focus on the good. The service, the small plates/sides, and the price. The portobello fries were insanely delicious. If I judged on those three things alone, I would be back for sure! And maybe I will, for drinks and apps at the bar. Now for the steaks. Mine was essentially rare. I always order medium. I can deal with closer to medium rare, but typically don't have to worry about the cook when visiting a high end establishment. Not only was it cooked wrong, it was chewy as well. Had it been a salvageable steak, I would have had them take it back to correct it. We make filet at home quite frequently, and my husband even said, the steaks we had for Father's Day were MUCH better. He's right, they were melt in your mouth, as filet should be, and I've perfected the cook. The thing about a good filet, even when I was learning, and overcooked a few, they were NEVER chewy. Like I said, we will stick to Hanks. I'll gladly pay more for the quality of the meat alone, but let's be honest, Hanks has the service and sides mastered as well. read more

So let's start with the good. The food is good, which is why they rating is not a 1 star. It is not exceptional, but it is good. The Brussel sprouts were fantastic, the Mac and cheese was good. I had the Bone in ribeye and my wife had the filet. They cuts were good and tasty with the different sauces. But nothing special. Now let's talk about the actual restaurant. This place is nothing like the location in Tivoli. Tivoli has a great feel and it is exceptional in every way. This location in green valley is Soooooo sterile and really just not what I expected. When you walk in to the right is a pseudo butcher that has a few cuts of meat out for display, but for real it looks like they put him there in an open aquarium in the scene from Saw where Carey Elwes saws his foot off. Just not appealing. To your left is a bar that I believe is a leftover from the previous restaurant and it is okay, but where this restaurant falls extremely flat is the sterile white decor they chose. Everything is white and boring. The chairs are comfortable, but I cannot tell you how boring and unimaginative this place is. Tables are set out in weird places and the bathroom is in a far left corner where you must traverse an obstacle course of tables in order to reach them and when you want to wash your hands, the sinks don't work. Our server was great and our busser was really on top of things taking and replacing silverware while scraping crumbs off our table. The topping on this disaster of an atmosphere is the bizarre science carts that the waiters must deliver the food on. They are squeaky and just really awkward. I guess they go along with the super sterile environment of the restaurant. Finally, the temperature of the restaurant was cold. I had a very warm sweater on and I was still cold, so I would say that if they are going for the meat locker feel they nailed it. I would recommend a redesign of this place to bring it up to the standards of the Tivoli location read more

We came to eat here for my husband's birthday. The food was really good. We started with a cesar salad and calamari. I had the rib-eye steak and my husband ordered the filet. We also ordered some mash potatoes, Mac and cheese, and broccolini. The staff was nice, but we did go without drinks for a while. Our bus boy was very attentive, but our waiter only came to take our orders. Overall it was good, but it was hot! I don't know if the A/C wasn't working or what? It was hot! Overall enjoyed the majority of our meal. Would highly recommend the pork belly burnt ends and the Caesar Salad. My wife ordered the coulotte steak and was not impressed. Overall it tasted burnt but the inside was rarer than what she ordered. At first the server just said it's normal for the steak to be so charred, but they did agree to cook it longer for her correct temperature. I had the short Rib grilled cheese and it was fantastic. Delicious cheeses and the meat was great. We were given a complimentary $1.00 dessert, the berry sundae. It was very delicious, especially the ice cream. Overall would come again. Excellent food and excellent service! Our first visit, but not our last. May be a bit pricey for some, but no more than any fine steakhouse. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. She began with the Steakhouse salad, which is plenty to share and I had the Wild Mushroom soup. Her salad included lots of steak (if you are not overly hunger it could be a light meal). The soup was different, very creamy with no large pieces of mushrooms. For her steak she had the Spencer with Blue Cheese sauce. A nice large cut of meat. I had the NY Strip (a chef's favorite), with Chimichurri sauce. Sauces were nice, but not necessary to enjoy the steaks. Both steaks were delicious and tender. Both steaks were served with onion straws and mushroom Rockefeller. Our side was roasted garlic mashed potatoes; plenty for two. All-in-all, we enjoyed our visit and will return. read more

I would NOT recommend ECHO and RIG for any occasion. ECHO certainly is appropriate name for this restaurant. If you enjoy conversing with your family, or friends, or business associates, this is NOT the place to have dinner. As for the dinner; the steaks were tender BUT certainly not cooked to order. Steaks were under cooked; everyone requested MEDIUM; all four of our meals arrived more to the VERY RARE temperature; the "ONION" and the "MUSHROOM" specialty sides were cold; the two side dishes we ordered were disappointing. I have been to Echo and Rig the one in tivlolli village and I can say this is a very different and completely opposite experience. First, me and my husband was just there today for the happy hour. We sat at the bar and ordered our drink. We planned to just drink here and eat at shake shack but since we are there might as well. "Okay, maybe she's busy" but then we noticed that there's another bartender there with her. And the bar is not full. Her attitude made me feel like j was not at a restaurant but more like a diner, you know those places were truck driver stops and order steak and egg. I felt rushed and not wanted. So I let it slide and go on with our lives... I noticed that the kid that was wiping the glasses was the one refilling our water. NOT EVEN ONCE WE WERE ASKED HOW ARE WE DOING. she doesn't even look at us when she Pass by the bar, I get it you're doing job you're busy.. but you know what upsets me the most? The majority or I can say all of the customers at the bar even at the restaurant are white, and we are the only 2 brown people sitting at thr bar. We hear and see conversations from our server/bartender to other customers but not to us. So you know, we try to let go, we say "maybe she's idk. That busy...." but obviously she's not, her and the other bartender had time to have small talks with customers... but not us... NOT US BROWN PEOPLE. so tell me? How exactly should we feel?? It was definitely just okay. We had reservations at 7 and got sat at 7:15, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Their AC was also broken so it was quite warm. The service was mediocre, with my water glass being empty most of the meal and being checked on once or twice. The steak was alright and the mashed potatoes were lumpy. Came here to celebrate our 18 year anniversary with my husband, we brought our 6 year old daughter with us. Our reservation was for 4:30. For context: My husband and I have been in the Las Vegas service industry for a very long time- almost 20 years. So when I decided to bring our daughter we made the reservation at 4:30 so that we could get the dinner shift server (no need to transfer servers) and to make sure they could turn our table before their dinner rush. There were probably 3 tables in our servers section. So with that being said: Our server, although nice, she never asked us what we were celebrating (they took note of it when we made the reservation, also we were pretty dressed up for just a "regular" 4:30 dinner) anyways that didn't bother me that much. But I felt the service was lacking..could be because we came in right at the start of her shift and possibly because we had our daughter with us? I'm not sure. We ordered 2 steaks 5 sides and a soup. My husband ordered a martini. In total our bill came out to about $200 we tipped $50 by default- we are just good tippers because we are in the service industry. My ribeye was TOUGH and I couldn't even cut it!! I felt like I had to stand up to get leverage!! NOBODY asked how my steak was but damn if anyone was paying attention they'd see how much I was struggling to cut it! My husband's filet was like butter it was good. The only person who gave us excellent service was the food runner. I wish I got his name. He needs to be a server and get all the $$$ The Brussels sprouts was all hype. The pork burnt ends was too sweet. It's basically char sui style but too sweet and saucy. The portobello mushroom fries did not taste the same as when we ate them at the summerlin location. But it was still ok. The carrots were burnt in some parts. SMH. I forgot what else we had but they were all mediocre. Except for my husband's filet. That was really good. Stopped in here for a quick lunch with a family member in town. I've been wanting to come & try this place since they opened, definitely glad I did! We got sat right away. Waiter was prompt and came over quickly, explaining the menu, restaurant concept, & taking drinks. He didn't add to the experience but checked on us often. We never felt we were turning our heads looking for a waiter. We ordered the burrata, crab cake, and steak salad. Portions were on the smaller side for appetizers but we still split it between 2. The salad was DELICIOUS. Definitely looked plain but the flavors were amazing & it was dressed perfectly. In terms of the steak, it tasted like any other steak i've had, I wouldn't say it was anything special. Bathrooms were clean, we didn't feel rushed & food came out in a timely manner. 100% I would recommend this restaurant. They have a butcher shop inside which allows one to see that they cut their own meats - which gives this place some good quality meat but must save them a bit on food cost because I found the prices to be very reasonable for the steaks. My business partner and I had made reservations here as he loves a good steak and I suggested this local steakhouse as it was easy to get to from my house and we avoided a lot of traffic on the strip especially with all the F-1 construction going on. This location is their second one and I sure am glad they now opened up in Green Valley taking over the long defunct Elephant Bar space at the District. Inside is modern, open, and spacious. As soon as you walk in, there is a huge bar area which is bustling with people getting their martinis or even grabbing some food. The dining area is nicely laid out and the service is prompt and courteous. Let's hope that this Echo & Rig is just as successful as their other location in Summerlin as I can't wait to go back and try it again. read more

I saw another review on here that mentioned this and brushed it off because I thought there was no way it was true however unfortunately this restaurant is currently infested with some kind of small pest. We spent our entire meal batting drain flies away from our food and drink. Then when we went asked why there was such an issue we were told by our server it was because of the wine? Never have I asked about an issue in a restaurant and been told it was because of something they served us! The manager (after we were finally able to flag our server down to get us a manager) was gracious enough to take care of our meal and offer us to come back because we were celebrating, but between the gnats, the poor inattentive service and the general lack of care i honestly don't know that we even would return. read more
