We stopped by Echo & Rig for lunch and overall had a really solid experience. The space is clean, modern, and has that upscale-but-still-comfortable vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your meal without feeling overly formal. Service was friendly and attentive, which I always appreciate. I will say, I was a little disappointed with the lunch menu. I had my heart set on the rib cap, but found out it's not offered during lunch, and unfortunately they were also out of the skirt steak, which is what I was really looking forward to. That part was a bit of a letdown. That said, we still had a good meal. My husband went with the signature burger and fries, which were cooked perfectly and super satisfying. I ordered the Wagyu filet tenderloin, and it was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right, definitely a great choice. Even with a couple menu hiccups, the quality of the food and overall experience made it worth the visit. I'd absolutely come back, next time for dinner so I can finally try that rib cap.

This is where the magic happens. Just look at that grill... It was amazing to watch those meats being prepared.

Okay, if you've been a reader of my Yelp reviews for any period of time, you know that I don't wax poetic about too many places. I appreciate a fine dining experience, and I also appreciate a good bargain. Echo and Rig has to be in my top five meals of all time. For starters, the place is a little deceiving. When you walk in, you can feel your wallet cinch up like it's about to be assaulted. The wait staff was dressed very upscale, the place was neat as a pin, and the interior looked like one of those very expensive steakhouses. We got taken to our booth, and we're immediately brought some water. Awesome and attentive wait staff. Not hovering, or overbearing, but they were absolutely perfect. Our waiter Alex was top notch. First thing he did was take our drink orders, and then scurried back to the kitchen. A few moments later he brought out an order of fried olives and their fried spinach salad on the house. Let me tell you something as someone who kind of stopped liking olives, since I had worked out at all lip processing plant, I reluctantly tried one. Wow, was not expecting that. That. It was wonderful and I would absolutely order those again! The fried spinach salad was amazing and that vinegarette that they put on it just took it to a whole nother level. It was one of the best salads I've ever had. I ordered the ribeye steak, and my girl friend had the wagyu filet. I normally have my steaks done medium rare but Alex's suggestion of going rare was spot on. Seriously! This was one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life! I chose the mushroom sauce to go with it and that was a perfect choice.. I tried a bite of my girlfriend's wagu filet, and that thing literally melted in my mouth. I don't even think you'd have to use a knife to cut it. Both dishes came with a panko stuffed mushroom, which was amazing. We also ordered a couple sides. The broccolini, and the garlic mash potatoes. Absolutely wonderful! Like no kidding, every bite was fantastic. It's very rare that I've had an experience at a restaurant that hit on all cylinders, food quality service atmosphere, and price. Echo and Rig nailed it on all accounts. So let's talk about price for a second. I was blown away at the price of the steaks. Like no kidding, I would have expected (and would have paid) 120 bucks for the steak I got. It was that good! But the price was only $48 for that steak, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted like a million bucks! But the hits aren't done yet! Since it was my girlfriend's birthday they brought out a turtle crunch Sunday. OMG! What an amazing capper to an already amazing deal. I could have eaten three bowls of that stuff. Thank goodness, I have some semblance of self-control. Bottom line? I would have given this place 10 Stars if Yellp would have let me. But since I can only give five, I will tell you that it was definitely worth 10 Stars in my book! Run, do not walk to this place as it will definitely change your life, and become your next favorite steakhouse.

Stopped by my favorite place for brunch and small plates teaser. Had the Portobello Fries and a crab cake. The service was excellent.

Lobster Cigars excellent, little greasy, but 4/5. I dabbed it w/ paper napkins. The Butchery on the right is no longer there but you can order meats still. The wines by the glass were limited. My server Jaquoia never brought utensils or a napkin for the food. That is the first thing to set up I'd say. After that I overheard the couple next to me say the food they ordered was ok, not worth it. Everyone's preference is different, but no ambience & super slow service. The restaurant had less than 10 people so utensils should've been more attentive as a bartender. I almost walked out because it took so long to get a menu. Most of the time she was on the other side of the bar leading me to get the check & leave. Honestly, there are too many great restaurants w/ excellent service in Vegas to waste my time coming back.

Went there for the Chef's Special steak & lobster dinner! It was such a great experience! We sat at the bar and service was fantastic! The best steak I've had in a long time! I do have to say, the hostesses were RUDE & NOT WELCOMING! We almost walked out because of them! Do better! Other than that, highly recommend!

Very fine steakhouse with prices that are reasonable. Love when a great steakhouse is open during lunch hours. The prices were all great for the high quality meal presented. Waiter Celsito went above and beyond to make the meal exceptional. The only adjustment that should be made is the decor, which seemed to be missing with the walls bare and plain.

Had an incredible experience for dinner! Normally go to the tivoli location but this was a nice switch up. Service was impeccable our server Alex was amazing and Austin the manager was thoughtful enough to come around and congratulate us on the anniversary. Ambiance was vibrant and very elegant. I love when I can see the kitchen moving and groovin in full swing. Open floor layout with mosaics on the pillars of the restaurant We started with the table side fluffy bread and oyster! They were phenomenal alittle sweet and with that horseradish cream, Jesus take the wheel!! Highly recommend. Also got the crab cake which was good but had some filler to it. The spicy cream sauce that they had was outrageously good. Definitely worth a try! We ordered a marg and old fashioned for drinks. The cut of steak we wanted was sold out so we got a 25oz t bone which was pretty good. They came out with six sauces the blue cheese and Mushroom something sauces were my favorites next tot he chimmichurri and the Demi glaze. Also got broccolini and mash potatoes both were delightful. Highly recommend the mash potatoes They were kind enough to bring us alil night cap espresso martini and a dessert that was tremendously good, had toffee on the bottom with vanilla ice cream and Carmel ontop! Phenomenal dinner Also have HH and daily food specials and $5 drinks. What's not to love!

    Cuban style grilled cheese

We were staying on the strip eating our way around Vegas and on the search for a decent grocery store eventually finding Whole Foods. After getting our shopping done, we were looking for somewhere to sit and unwind and get a bite to eat and a drink. I found Echo & Rig on Yelp! and as it turned out, we had pulled into a parking space to research places right about 150 feet from the door. We were greeted warmly by the bartender and sat at a high top. None of the beer taps were working and their liquor selections were very limited, but we found selections we enjoyed. We ordered the happy hour tacos, burnt ends, bone marrow, and cuban grilled cheese. This was mom's favorite stop so far, as she is passionate about bone marrow and burnt ends. Though bone marrow is not my cup of tea, this was probably the best presentation that I've seen of it and we've travelled distances for it exclusively. The tacos were good. The burnt ends were mostly good, but there was at least 1 that was a bit tough. The cuban sandwich was tasty and good, my suggestion on that one would be to shred the pork and keep the juices and keep it moist as the slab of pork was tough to eat in a sandwich and a little dry. It did shred easily with just a fork, I think it would just make the sandwich easier to eat and you probably wouldn't need as much which would save some food cost at the same time. Overall, we had a very comfortable and delightful mid-afternoon with the bartender, I wish I could recall her name.... Julia? maybe? She was wonderful. Oh!!! And that house made ranch! That's goooood!!

Lovely birthday celebration lunch, with my partner, daughter and a couple of her pals. We were spoiled by Jennifer, our server, as well as the manager and another young man who brought most of the food. The small plates were amazing and everyone loved it all! The steak tartar, burnt ends, calamari, avocado hummus and cauliflower were all just incredible! We topped it off with a rib eye and Jennifer gave us a few sauces to try and all were very tasty! My favorite was the chimichurri! Again we joked with Jennifer and her manager as well and were treated like royalty! 3rd visit and will not be our last! Thank you Jennifer for making by bday celebration special!

Cape Grim Filet & sautéed spinach

$230. For a disappointing lunch- Details below: Finally meeting my old friend for lunch and I chose to dine @Echo & Rig located in the District, Henderson. I've always loved the original Echo & Rig so I had high hopes for this location. The space is relaxed and our server was wonderful, but everything else fell flat. We walked in around 1pm on Thursday afternoon to a nearly empty dining room (2 other tables seated). We started by ordering 2 glasses of wine from the cocktail menu (Pinot Grigio and Moscato D'Asti) which were both unavailable. Our Lunch order: 1. Shrimp Cocktail: (only three shrimp, which felt underwhelming even at the lower price point of $15.). 2. Caesar Salad- She enjoyed the salad. 3.We both ordered the Cape Grim Filet -medium rare. When our steaks arrived, mine was significantly overcooked. I showed our server, who immediately apologized and brought over the manager. His solution was to comp my glass of wine, which struck me as dismissive. I declined and asked for the steak to be cooked as ordered. Unfortunately, when my replacement steak finally arrived (cooked correctly), my friend had already finished her meal. ** The manager never returned to check on us, which sealed the experience for me. At this price point for lunch and given Echo & Rig's reputation, the lack of care and follow-through was disappointing. Sadly, I have zero reason to return to this Henderson location.

    Burger with GVR fireworks!
    Priya K.

We are regulars at the Tivoli village location but decided to check the Henderson location to watch the Green Valley Ranch fireworks from their patio. We had the best time watching 4th of July fireworks, this is the best location for it. Food is amazing, pretty similar to the Tivoli location but there they have lobster cigars instead of lamb cigars. Highly recommend if you love lobster! Service is very good! Our server Laura and Zach were extremely efficient and friendly.

Happy hour Thursday: Juicy Lucy with additional of French fries
    Nathaly R.

Came here for HH 3-6p at the bar. On a Thursday. I'd say their happy hour is alright. It should offer more than what is pre selected on their menu for selected days. Started off with their Caesar salad- I was disappointed in the salad. The lettuce was soggy and the dressing did not taste like a Caesar dressing. The burger was good the portion size decedent 8.2/10- the cooked cheese was great!! Does not come with a side ordered fries 10/10. Ordered drinks I'd say the drinks, French fries, and burger made up for the salad. For it being an afternoon Thursday the service was top notch. Bartenders were very nice and always filling up your waters.

I also ordered a drink made especially without simple syrup and only fresh fruit since I'm watching my sugar. The service was great. My drink was divine. Fresh mint and blackberries! I wasn't even planning on drinking with dinner but I had two! Unfortunately the food was not so great. I didn't read the menu well enough to see the chicken breast was breaded and fried - that's on me for not reading closely and expecting grilled - but even so, after pulling the breading off, the chicken itself was rubbery and hard to cut with a butter knife. They must have run out of linguini because I got angel hair pasta. The sauce was ok and the star of the plate ended up being the dressed arugula on top. I wouldn't order it again. That drink though! Yum! Again, service was fantastic and once we all sorted out the music situation the vibe was cool.

There were 7…read moreof us and dad specifically asked to go there because of the first experience that we had. He loved the food and had a great time. This gathering was much different than the first. Since it's been two years, I don't remember a lot other than the fact that it took hours, as in more than 2 hours, for the entire dinner. The servers and busser were great, but there is only so much they can do when there is no food to serve. See the review with Sue B if you want more specifics. This last year, we decided to give it another try on Christmas. My father is now 92 and my mother is in advanced stages of ALzheimer's. We made our reservations for 7:30 and when we get there, the hostess told us that we would have to wait. She was very pleasant and apologetic. She kept us posted and when she finally sat us down 30 minutes later, she thanked us for our patience and told us that she would talk to the server about taking 20% off the bill. It went downhill from there. My mom sat down and when she went to move her chair in, it wouldn't move close enough to the table. The table was broken and the arms on the chairs were hitting it, preventing her from moving forward. The server from another table came over and opened the folded leaf part, which then wouldn't stay up straight. So they stacked menus on the arms on either side of her to keep the table straight. It was ridiculous and in hindsight, we should have just changed spots with her.    Everything took forever. We got drinks quickly and some bread, but then we waited. Finally we were able to place an order, where we were told the list of all the things that were no longer available. Fortunately, only a few of the things we wanted were on that list. I was the only one who ordered a salad, which came quickly. Then we waited again. Drinks ran out as we waited over an hour for our dinner. We sat at 8pm and received our dinner at 9:14. As we were waiting, we were able to see another table receive food they didn't order. They asked for the manager, who looked like the manager from Denny's the way she was dressed.  They received two orders of the replacement food. In the end, they had so much left over food, they left with two giant bags of food. Another table that was sat right before us, who were gamblers and had a comp for the restaurant, received their food almost immediately. They ordered, got their dinner and dessert and left before we even started. As time ticked by, I was struggling to keep my parents oblivious to the wait. Mom started to feel trapped in her chair because of the stacks of menus on either side of her. We finally got our food, which was good, but not good enough to make up for the excruciatingly painful wait.  Listen, I get it.  I know you make your money off the gamblers. You just provide this restaurant as a perk for them. Living in Boulder City, your restaurant is the closest thing to fine dining so that we don't have to drive too far. We wanted it to be great so badly. This visit was way worse than we could have even imagined.

For my first drink, I'm having the Underground Manhattan made with orange-infused whiskey, sweet vermouth and orange bitters. It's not super strong but it will pass. They use a few above average-sized ice cubes, which is nice, but the single large ice cube is the better choice. It's not a huge pour either. Decent garnish. For $10, this isn't bad. This place has a 1030's feel to it including the appearance and music. The immediately serve you a glass of complementary ice water (which is filtered). They also bring out the complementary bread and whipped butter. There are actually three types of breads. For my first item, I'm having a bowl of tomato basil soup. Tomato basil soup is a flavorful and versatile dish, often made with tomatoes, fresh basil, onions, garlic, and broth. It can be prepared with fresh or canned tomatoes and can be made creamy with heavy cream or dairy-free by using milk, coconut milk, or a dairy-free alternative. The soup is typically pureed for a smooth texture and is delicious served with grilled cheese, crusty bread, or a side salad. This is yummy! It's nice and hot too. There quite a bit of basil in this too. For my salad, I'm having a Caesar Side Salad (light on cheese and dressing). This is made with tossed chopped romaine lettuce, house croutons, freshly grated Romano cheese and Caesar dressing. This was made just the o asked. Good job! The bottom of the salad is a whole romaine lettuce leaf. That's new. For my entree, I'm having the Salmon Pomodoro which is grilled salmon topped with a spinach pomodoro sauce and served with a side of sun-dried tomato polenta. Polenta is a dish made from boiled cornmeal, originating from Northern Italy. It can be served as a warm, creamy porridge, often topped with sauces or cheese, or allowed to cool and then baked, fried, or grilled. Polenta's texture varies based on the grind of the cornmeal--coarser grinds result in a firmer, more textured polenta, while finer grinds create a smoother, creamier dish. Pomodoro sauce is a simple Italian tomato sauce made primarily from tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, and fresh basil. The flavor comes from sautéing garlic in olive oil, adding the tomatoes, and simmering with basil. While onions are often included, they are sometimes omitted for a purer tomato taste. This salmon dish is good! The salmon has nice outer crunch and is cooked perfectly. I love the pomodoro sauce and polenta! For my sides, I'm having steamed broccoli, sautéed mushrooms (domestic and portabella mushrooms sautéed in olive oil and garlic) and meatballs (two jumbo housemate meatballs with their own marinara sauce and Romano cheese). The meatballs are good with a nice crust. Broccoli is perfect. The mushrooms have a lot of flavor. For my last drink, I'm having the 1930 French 75 made with Bombay Sapphire gin, limoncello and champagne. It's quite good and much stronger than the last drink. For dessert, I'm having the creme brûlée. Crème brûlée is a rich custard dessert with a hard, brittle layer of caramelized sugar on top. It is made from a simple base of cream, egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla, which is baked and then chilled. The signature topping is created by sprinkling sugar on the chilled custard and caramelizing it with a kitchen torch or broiler just before serving. This came out quick! Nice blueberry garnish. It tastes great! What a fantastic meal here!

As a casino property, I like the M's modern look and upscale feel and its obligatory steakhouse, Anthony's, definitely fit right in. We walked up a little after its opening at 5PM to see if we could get a table since we didn't have reservations. We informed the hostess that we were planning to have a full-fledged meal and weren't there for Anthony's daily, 5-6PM, happy hour. That said, the hostess seated us in the lounge, which at first blush seemed perfectly fine. However, it was at this point things started to go off the rails. The hostess seated us with food menus, but not a cocktail or wine list, so when our server came to take our drink order, he had to get us a drink menu. Nothing on the cocktail list caught my eye so I passed on ordering a drink. The drink menu only listed cocktails, no beer or wines. We never received a wine list. As for food, we did take advantage of a couple of the happy hour BOGO apps ordering the Shrimp Cocktail ($24) and the Calamari ($18). We decided to share an order of the 18oz. Creekstone Prime Ribeye ($105) cooked medium-rare and a side of Sautéed Wild Mushrooms ($11). We received four extra-large shrimp that were presented in standard steakhouse fashion. They could've been jumbo shrimp, but regardless, the four shrimp looked overwhelmed by how it was plated. The shrimp cocktail was fine, but for the price, I didn't feel we received good value. I guess its saving grace was that the calamari was "free" as the second half of the BOGO. The calamari was nicely fried, tender without a hint of toughness, rubberiness, or greasiness. However, it ate very bland as the cornmeal batter seemed way under-seasoned. Our steak looked great. It came pre-sliced, which was a good thing because we didn't have steak knives when it arrived at the table. It's also a good thing that it was pre-sliced because I could see how unevenly it was cooked and the questionable quality of this particular steak we received. One half of the steak was practically mooing it was so rare, but the other half was dead-on medium-rare. Yes, I could've sent it back, but I didn't want to risk have the rare pieces coming out mid-rare and the mid-rare pieces coming back hammered. This wasn't my first rodeo with ribeye steaks, so I generally knew what to expect from this cut of meat. The rare side of the cut steak had more intramuscular fat than I expected based on its sourcing, price, and expectations for the kitchen's service standards. Despite it's uneven cook, the ribeye was still quite flavorful and butter knife tender...we truly were able to cut it with a butter knife. It was overpriced for what we received. I've paid the same amount or less for higher quality and better executed steaks at countless other steakhouses around town. The sautéed mushrooms were the food highlights of the night. Service from the two people who primarily touched our table was surprisingly solid especially given what appeared to the casual observer such as me that there wasn't sufficient service staff in the bar/lounge seating area that was at near capacity. Our primary server, Brian, took good care of us, but it was obvious that he had to cover too many tables as well as having to perform other, non-customer tasks, such as making a supply run to pick up more rolls of POS printer paper for the bar leaving tables unattended for a period of time and other diners looking for someone to take their order. Sorry, but in my mind, the manager on duty should've made sure the entire restaurant and staff was good to go prior to service and never should've taken a member of his service staff away from his customers for any amount of time performing tasks the manager could've handled himself. The other server, Manny, was timely and efficient in keeping our water glasses filled and promptly clearing dirty plates from our table. They were both rock stars! I'm not going to mince words. I was more than little disappointed in our overall experience. I didn't feel I received anywhere close to good value. In a town full of amazing steakhouses, average doesn't cut it in my book. I'm glad I went. I don't need to go back.
