I was warmly greeted by a few different associates. And then came Kyle -- He was attentive to me while I asked a lot of product information questions about the brand. I was amazed at how knowledgeable he was and more amazed that he had only worked there for a few months. He seemed like a very seasoned and well trained employee. I ended up buying a pair of Kizik's on the spot because of Kyle's fine service. I work in a retail store that sells shoes and I get a pretty handsome discount, so I don't often shoe shop at another store. But I was so wowed by Kyle's service that there was no way I would leave the store without purchasing from him. Did I mention he pulled up one of those low stools and helped me put on the shoes and made sure they fit properly. Who does that these days! Usually, they bring the shoes out, drop them at your feet and head off to do something else, only to return if you want to buy. There's a reason his business card says "Rockstar Sales Associate." I found about 6-7 I liked, only 3 of those had my size, so I ended up purchasing those three (brands including Dr. Scholl's, Kelly & Katie, and Anne Klein), which was ideal, preventing me from overspending. I prefer simple and comfortable when it comes to shoes, nothing flashy, and DSW usually has good options. This store, in particular, stood out during my recent visit. It's the first two-story DSW I've been to. And everything was clean and organized, well stocked for the most part. Not to mention, they had great purses on display too (more than I've seen at other locations of this chain). There was hardly a wait for service to make my purchase on Tuesday afternoon. And staff was helpful and efficient at the register, which I appreciated. Also, for the quality of shoes here, the price is fair, especially if you are a VIP member like me, as we get frequent discounts and rewards.

After this long wait, we decided to leave. Won't go to this store anymore - I had a similar experience previously. Thankfully, there is the San Mateo store! Please do talk with your vendors and train them on how work in parallel and take care of customers. Nobady should have to wait 20+ minutes and not even be greeted.
