I stopped by this Foot Locker to see if that had a couple shoes I had my eye on but could never locate my size. Lo and behold, Foot Locker Hillsdale had not just one but both shoes! I honestly have to just say thank you to JR (Jonrick) for being so patient and grabbing me both shoes in the multiple sizes that I wanted / needed to try. I was there for a nice chunk of time. I had tons of questions too, which he so happily answered. I cannot mention enough how hospitable he is. In the season of Christmas shopping and the hectic mess of life, it was so nice to have assistance with a smile. I'll definitely come back to this specific Foot Locker and ask for assistance from him, again. read more

I went there today 12/14/25 to buy a xmas gift for my wife . and these fuckers gave me a broken box for the shoes and they told me that "ITS THE LAST BOX THAT COMES WITH IT" so when i asked for a decent box they gave me a brown shipping box so out of options i accepted it instead of that broken fucked box. and since i started askin them for a fixed box they got frustrated and started giving me an attitude specially the bitch in the cashier .i mean i don't really mind about this fucked up box but its not for me its for my wife as a gift you want it at least nice and fixed ITS JUST SO SAD THAT YOU HAVE TO REACT TO GET AN ACCOMMIDATION..they're customer serviced are horrible and these assholes has an attitude. and the best of all THEY DIDNT EVEN SAY SORRY!!! NO WONDER YOU ONLY HAVE 2 STAR RATINGS. Not recommended for anyone. be mindful specially they're customer services.. read more

The customer service is just horrible at this location. This morning I was in a time crunch to get a gift. I went with a hat also get an embroidered. I came back like an hour later to get my hat and they tell me the machine is not working. I literally was like why couldn't you call me? Then I say ok let's go with a jersey I pick out a medium and it was wrinkled and had stains on it. When I ask about the stains the manager gave me push back on it. Saying it's not dirty. I was like whatever. Also only managers can do returns. So I had to wait around to return the hat because manager was on lunch and no one else can do a return. They are lucky I was in a time crunch. However we have shoe palace now and I'll be going there from now on. read more

I just want to make this review because I am not sure if I actually talked to a manager. I walked into the store today and was greeted by a sales associate that thought I was wearing a MAGA hat. How the interaction started was the sales associate approached me and said that she thought I was wearing a MAGA hat. I continued by saying that I don't mind MAGA hats, and she replied to me saying "that's crazy" basically implying that I was crazy for not minding that. There should be absolutely NO REASON that someone is talking politically to a customer on the job. So unacceptable 1 and 2 keep those opinions to yourself and mind your business. Do your job and sell shoes, not comment on peoples political beliefs. read more

I was standing waiting for an associate to come ask me for a size even though I was holding a shoe I wanted walking around the area where the shoe was on the wall, which is pretty much near the entrance wasn't much of a busy day. Still there for about maybe 10 minutes put it back on the wall decided to leave then somebody finally asked me. Did you need some help? I said no forget it. read more

Probably the worst selection of any foot locker I've been in recently. No problem with the staff or the location just not a great selection of shoes. Then there's this issue with their House of hoops side front entrance locked. Essentially they're creating a death trap if you happen to be in there and there's some sort of emergency. read more

This is solely a customer service review. We were greeting but associate Arlene C. She was hella dope. I came in to buy some shoes for my 2 year old daughter. She was hella helpful.. she picked out some shoes for her cuz I told her how she has hella pairs already (daughter of a sneaker head), so she grabbed the pair sat her down and proceeded with putting them on for her. I didn't ask her for this. She did it. I have been in shoe stores countless times with my daughter for shoes and never had this happen. They just had you shoes and walk away. The shoes didn't fit to Arlene liking. I double check and agreed. She grabbed her a 6C put the shoes on her again and interacted with my daughter so great my daughter was smiling and clapping and she takes a while to warm up to ppl. This was very heart warming. Customer service is a lost art and she just showed me that she got skills... read more

I went to Foot Locker on the evening of December 12 and I was looking for a pair of high top sneakers. Unfortunately Gabi wasn't able to help me find something in my size but we were able to find a very cool black Nike zip up hoodie. It was great so the trip was not made unnecessarily. Gabi was so professional and ridiculously kind. She complimented me when she didn't have to. Thank you, Gabi! I hope to shop with you again. read more

I came in to find a running shoe, but unfortunately they did not have the size I needed. Alexa was attentive the entire time and worked hard to help find me a solution. She offered to order the shoe I liked best and still honor the in-store sale. This was my first experience inside a foot locker and based on this experience alone, I am highly likely to return. Thanks Alexa! read more

This store is under stocked in kids' shoe sizes. They never have the size my son wears. Surprisingly, they had one pair today, but, unfortunately, it was stained. They had the next size up. I asked them to hold it for me while I checked in with my wife to make sure the bigger size would work. No problem, sir. I came back to pick up the shoes that were on hold for about 1/2 hour. Sorry, sir. Someone bought the shoes that we were holding for you. Really????? Yes, really. read more

Above and beyond. Their customer service is great! Love Foot Locker because they have super cool selection of shoes/apparel. They carry the latest Nike's, Jordan's, etc. My boyfriend introduced me to street style and this store carries some staples and is probably the best one at the mall. We went shopping today and they were the only store that gave you hand sanitizer when you walked in. Great staff. Super dope products and people read more

Came here on a weekday afternoon to try on some nike lunarglide 6's. First thing i noticed was the price was same as amazon, cause i dont want to "showroom" if i dont have to. Service was good, got to try on various pairs and wasnt rushed at all (i took a while to walk around in new pair by the staff to verify fit). They also had the color i wanted (amazon was out), so they won the business read more

Haha looks like the experience I had is quite common based on other reviews. No one pays attention to you. I had a store pickup that's usually responded to within an hour. Didn't hear anything so I came to the mall to see. Of course it's ready. No one cared enough to do anything about it. Then, the guy who helped me seemed perturbed like I was bothering him and gave no thank you or anything. It's a bunch of bros hanging out, thinking they're cool. Weak service. read more

This is a great store. I've gone to buy shoes for my lil boy. They're always attentive. Bring ALL the shoes I ask for. He's at the age where he's not kids size and definitely not youth. So a lot of shoes are requested by me and some more from an eager 7yr old. There's a tall kid working there. He smiles while he's helping. Now... we all are tired and grumpy at some point on any given day at any job. So not holding it against them when it hasn't been excellent every time. Overall, they're a good bunch of kids. Because, honestly, it's a bunch of kids working there. read more

Rude, called to see if they had something in stock and she immediately said no and hung up . Called kids foot locker upstairs and the guy was very nice, put me on hold and found my shoes. Rude and attitude for no reason. read more

Horrible! I asked the guy the size I wanted and instead he told me "oh that's the highest I got 9" and the shoes was 11.5. Ridiculous! Instead of going to the back and check it's really ridiculous. read more

AWFUL service! The kid working there was too busy high fiving and chatting it up with his friends that it felt like a HS hallway rather then a business establishment. The older gentleman (white guy with a beard) was helping another customer behind the counter and he actually was trying to multitask by ringing someone up and hearing our needs. Yet this young kid was still chopping it up with his "boys" like he wasn't on the clock! Acting like a little punk, thinking he's bad ass cause he sells shoes!!! NEVER PURCHASING from this location, I don't recommend it unless you want to be treated poorly and expect bare minimum service. read more

I enjoy and keep enjoying there sneakers they look great on me and there retail is smoooth intelligent

Awful or should I say no service etiquette. Tries to help others and not finish with the customeer...Leaves to get shoes for others. I would have lefrt had not my Granddaughter been in one of her moods which surely would have caused a scene. Need a customer service class...I told Daniel he helped me then another then another ..not finishing my transaction..No One wants to sell just get shoes...I would have left except for potential scene. I told Daniel he knows he is doing this from customer to customer...Awful store service not even a one star rating...Bad business... You guys need to hire better. We walked in on 4/22/16 and looked around a bit for the Adidas Ultra Boost. We know it's a limited shoe but decided to try anyway. We were greeted in the women's section by a girl named Taylor. She had thick rimmed glasses, was about 4'9", and had braids. She quietly greeted us and asked if we needed help and this is where it all went downhill. We asked for our size in the shoe and her widened. She started to giggle as if it was funny that we asked for the size. I'm almost certain she didn't even know what the shoe was. She claimed that the biggest size they had in women's was 8.5, which, if true, means that this location not only has terrible employees, but a very limited selection. We said thanks and walked out. I normally don't give bad reviews unless it is warranted, and Taylor definitely didn't do you guys any justice. All she had to do was check or let us know that the shoe wasn't in stock. read more

Went in and once the employee there Mauricio saw that he couldn't make a sale he forgot about customer satisfaction and service, making this a very negative experience. He offered no solution nor did he bother to think of one for the exchange I was attempting to make. I won't be coming back here again. This store does well because it's the only athletic shoe store in the mall. Once a finish line opens up, they'll lose a lot of clients. I work in the customer service industry and customer service was completely absent here. read more

On a Tuesday late afternoon, the store wasn't busy at all. Go during the week and avoid peak hours. I can imagine it getting packed, making it difficult getting attention. Rodrigo gave me the grand treatment. He immediately offered assistance and brought five pairs of shoes I had interest in. Rodrigo had a good understanding of the newest technology, features of various form factors, and brand differences. He even brought out a shoe unprompted, based on the feedback I was giving. It felt as if I was in a Nordstrom rather a shoe store. The store has a solid selection of the latest in men's sports shoes (even the far out styles). For something that you'll be wearing everyday, it's great to get personalized guidance. read more

This is my favorite place! I was first helped by Ryan. He was super helpful and polite. I was looking for some new Jordan's for my kid and they delivered! HORRIBLE experience and HORRIBLE customer service. I ordered a pair of shoes online and it's been over two months and I still haven't received them. The order shows that the shoes were delivered, however I never got them. I've emailed customer service multiple times and all they've said is they would launch an investigation - which they never did. I've called customer service and it goes straight to voice mail before it hangs up on me everytime. I still haven't gotten sent another pair of shoes or refunded. Unbelievably horrible experience and waste of money !!! read more

Horrible. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. 4 employees texting, no one else is in the store and no one helps, no greetings, no customer service, and just an overall bad environment. I really hope they shut this place down, or at least fire everyone there and get new management and associates. There's no excuses for what happened today. I don't recommend this specific footlocker to anyone it's not worth it. Also sports authority has all the same shoes at a much cheaper price. read more

Came here on a late afternoon Saturday. Had my kids with me and was shopping for high tops for my little one. So, I was trying to get the proper size and it was difficult to get help. When I did find someone and ask to check for the size. He simply said sorry we only have it in the size I was holding . WTF!! He did not even bother to take a close look at the shoe I was holding and just walked away! Later I try asking another employee for help with a different shoe and he just ignore me & kept walking away from me towards the back warehouse/employees area. I'm sure he heard me calling out "excuse me" because I was pretty close to him. The only bright side was this girl at the counter actually ask me if I needed help with a shoe size. Anyways, I'm just venting and i had way better service at the Footlocker in Tanforan mall!! read more

Not very helpful. When my son asked for some help, the guy just pointed to the wall. We left and went and got some vans.

Standard Foot Locker selection of clothes and shoes. This review more about the service this past weekend. The service experience is pretty bad. They do acknowledge you when you walk in, but when I'm buying something, I hate it when cashiers are chatting with their other employees, as if I'm interupting their conversation by buying something. read more

"Seriously, a return? This is so annoying..." Even if you hate your job, you don't say things like this in front of customers who try to give you their business. Whoever was working/managing the floor (especially the one wearing the all black uniform) between 7:00-8:00pm on 11/28/18 gotta go. Customer service = both thumbs ALL THE WAY DOWN. read more

I'm done with this store I've been trying to give them my money every single week since they opened and they keep lying to me about releases and frankly all the releases probably just go to their own friends they could care less about the average person. Came in here this past Saturday. There were 3-4 employees with one helping customers and the others standing around the store chatting. I needed help finding shoes along with other customers who needed help, and it was difficult actually getting service. I'm not a hypebeast and don't need to have the most limited kicks, however, don't expect to find the latest Jordan drop here as they have a meager selection of most other FLs. Good general releases if you need to get some shoes for everyday but not when you wanna floss. read more

I give this store 2 stars because overall they were friendly- but only 2 because I had to do their job for them. I walked in to get Nike shoes.. Asked for a size larger than a 9. They said they didn't have it, so I asked them to check if any other store does - they realized they did have a 10. They found me a size 10 but it was still too small so I asked for a size 11. Again, they said they didn't have it - so AGAIN, I asked them to check if any store has an 11. Surprise surprise they had an 11 in the back. So they grabbed it. After almost walking out twice, I finally purchased my shoes- BUT he rang them up as $110 not seeing they were on sales for $89.99. So I asked him to change the price to the sale amount and he did. Without apologizing or anything. Sooooo yes they were friendly, but if I didn't know better - I did their job better than them. Go me! read more

If I could give a negative star I would give 10 of them to Nichole the assistant manager of this location. Really, if someone hates their job that much or lack the minimal skills expected in their role of greeting customers and thanking them after spending $130 on kid's shoes, they should do everyone and themselves a favor and get another job! I came in today to exchange a pair of shoes I bought 3 days ago (mind you I had a receipt) for a pair that my son had put on hold and had the unfortunate experience of being assisted by Nichole. If you can call what she did assisting, it felt more like retail torture to have to stand there while she gives me the cold shoulder and "honor" me with her doing her JOB and ringing up my purchase and at the end of this "pleasant" experience I get to fork out $130. Awesome. In general the customer service in this location has always been meh...now I know why since their assistant manager is allowed to behave this way. This is the example that management has set and the rest just follow. It is safe to say I will not be shopping there again. read more

I took my two well behaved grandsons to San Mateo Kids Footlocker today. We waited a few minutes before 10 and entered when Store opened. We were the only customers. There were two female employees. I had to repeatedly ask for assistance. No inquiries from employees. One just stood at register the whole time next to the one tagging merchandise. No help given to lacing or fitting of shoes or adjusting of sizes. Why? This is not the usual or expected service here. read more

Came here on the weekend not that many people in store for the weekend. Five employees all stand around in a circle, just hanging out. Usually at other footlocker every single employee ask if I need help as soon as they make eye contact, which is nice to be acknowledged. At this location I was standing looking at shoes for 20 minutes until finally I went up to an employee and asked for help. He looked annoyed as if I was disturbing him and asked another employee to help him. Worse customer service. read more

Terrible service. Bought shoes & socks. Get home, problem with the shoes, bring them back the next day. Pick out different shoes that happen to be cheaper. Will they refund the difference? No. Gift card only. They want me to spend the money on something else. So I have to drive home, get the socks, return them, and buy them again using the gift card. In the end, I effectively got my refund, just after a stupid waste of time and effort. Every new pair of shoes I've bought for the past five years has been from there. After this, I will never go back. Avoid them! read more
