Quick service, professional and efficient! I called them on Saturday, prices were $250 or $350 for residential depending if it was new construction. They had opening as early as Monday. HERS Raters did a great job on a T24 report for a reasonable price.

Made a call, informed Brittany what i needed to be done (CalCerts certification), she said they could do it. Technician showed up, also reviewed Title 24 report, noticed it was stamped as Calcerts, and said they could do job. He inspected insulation and i paid them. At end of project, they inspected Mini split and i paid them. They sent me certification but under CHEERS, i requested that she send CalCerts certification and she said they dont do or work with CalCerts for X reasons. LA County and my inspector said i had to provide CalCerts certification or resubmit plans/T24 for resubmital and re-review which would have cost me $$ for review and who knows how long. I had to hire a CalCerts HERS rater and pay an additional fee. In short, they took my $500-$600 Knowing from the get go that i needed CalCerts certification and they only do CHEERS. This is bad business. They should have just "We only do CHEERs" and let me decide what i want to do. read more

I wish there were more people like Daniel, the owner, and Britney, the office manager, in our world. I never write reviews but I just had to share my wonderful experience with them. I was misinformed by la building and safety office that i needed to get a Hers test done for our rough inspection to replace our AC. But based on my internet searches it seemed weird that i would need one at the rough rather than at final inspection in an existing condo. I called several places, some said i did, others didn't answer, but I randomly found So- cal. Britney was extremely helpful and recommended I talk with Daniel. I called him on Sunday afternoon and he picked up immediately. He told me that it would be a waste of money for me to do a hers testing at rough inspection in our situation and told me to call the la county office back and speak to the supervisor. He said he would fight for me with the code book in hand if they insist on a hers testing at rough inspection because then I would have to pay for another one at final. I did exactly what he told me to do and it turned out Daniel was right! Every single question I had about this whole inspection process I sent his way and he knew the answers to everything. He responded immediately which is extremely helpful when you are trying schedule things. We scheduled the hers testing for our final inspection but when the city inspector came out at the rough inspection he said because we are by the beach we didn't need a Hers Test( i didnt know this was a factor and did not tell daniel we were by the beach). I felt so bad I had to cancel after multiple calls to schedule but both Britney were so incredibly understanding and Daniel said , "that is wonderful ~~ you can use the money for more important things" . If I ever need a Hers test I will definitely use this company. It's hard to find honest, knowledgeable, nice service companies with very reasonable rates. This is definitely the place to go to. I had no idea what to expect as a first time HERS testing customer. Wow. Daniel was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. I received a phone call alerting me that he was about 45 minutes away which was very convenient. He was prompt and efficient, getting to work and setting up his equipment to handle the job.
