My flat tire after my visit to Ebenezer Bike Shop...
    Lucy W.

My flat tire after my visit to Ebenezer Bike Shop... I came in to get a quick pump before my bike ride around Balboa. We brought our bikes in on Wednesday morning 4/30. My tire was not flat when I came in...and the same hour after them it was flat....we didn't end up riding either because it started drizzling so it was to no fault of my own. Come to checking they didn't screw the wnd of my air valve. And a week later with my own pump at home I can't get it to inflate. We've checked the tube and found out they punctured it.... Now, I can't say whether that was an accident or purposeful but either way it was a shoddy job. I'm slightly furious. We tipped just to come out even worse needing more work. I won't be able to ride for a little while because I honestly really can't afford a new tube right now.

Wow! What a shop! Thank you so much ROMEO for the great unforgettable customer service. I came in (newbie) for a bike service and Romeo was beyond helpful. I came out with a new bike seat, bag storage and a helmet that matches my bike. I quickly took my serviced bike for a ride at the park across the street(so convenient) and she felt GREAT! Thank you Romeo for sharing your knowledge and helpful tips! I will definitely be back. Thanks again! Great prices too!

It's a small shop but he sure had a good amount of inventory in that small space. I was asking about fixie bicycles and he was sold out then asked about an aluminum women's step through bicycle. The women's bikes on the floor were more of a beach cruiser style and not something my wife needed for her riding style. One customer who came in to pick up a repaired child's bike was told by the employee that it's not a good quality bike, I'm glad he's honest and doesn't play the used car salesman games.

He was very nice and fixed my flat in 15 minutes. He also gave the bike a tune up so I was ready to get back on the trail.

A bike shop that will get the job done. Owner is kind of moody. Mostly sells used bikes.

Romero serviced my vintage late '70's Raleigh Sprint beautifully and his pricing is very reasonable

A rare gem of a bike shop--Atomic Cycles and Paul are the real deal…read more If you're lucky enough to stumble across Atomic Cycles in North Hollywood, you've found something special--an old-school, no-frills, soul-of-cycling kind of place. This isn't some sleek boutique with overpriced parts and cookie-cutter service. This is Paul's shop--a one-man operation, part museum, part workshop, part time machine--and entirely awesome. I recently pulled two bikes out of storage after 25+ years of collecting dust. One was a cruiser-style 21-speed, the other my old Klein Stage Comp road bike from my triathlon days. My son is just getting into cycling, so I wanted to see if they could be resurrected. Enter Paul. From the moment you walk in, you're hit with nostalgia--cluttered racks, retro parts, classic bikes stacked everywhere, and zero e-bikes (don't even mention them--Paul will make his feelings known! ). Then you meet Paul himself: a lean, strong, greying guy in his 50s with oil-stained hands, a frayed shirt, and the calm intensity of a mad scientist-mechanic who knows his craft inside and out. He's not there to upsell you or push gimmicks. Paul is a caretaker of bicycles. He brought both my bikes back to life for a price that was literally a fraction of what the big box bike shops wanted to charge. And his work? Impeccable. No BS. Just honest, high-skill labor from someone who clearly lives and loves the cycling life. If you want e-bike talk and shiny sales floors, go elsewhere. If you want someone who treats your bike like it's a piece of living history and will get it running better than ever--go see Paul. This place is more than a bike shop--it's a living piece of cycling culture. I'm grateful I found it.

So I walked my bike to van nuys and gor there there was only one person working. He saw me get there and he picked up the phone. And was talking a cool 8 mins and I'm like wtf in my head. I came just to get 2 new inner tubes. After he got off the phone he then quoted me which I was like damn was kinda pricey. 60 for both. He fixed it by the close of shop which was 5. He broke my chain guard. While he try to tell me that it was already broken. I told him no I walked here and I would know if it was broken. I brought an electric bike so I wish he knew if he worked with them first. But he said to come back next week and he will replace the chain guard. I came back and I called him the day before and he said to come. So I came the next day and I had to wait 30 mins and them he didn't have the part and he took the part of another bike that wasn't the same brand. I will never come back to this place. Bad customer service and there is no integrity here. The Light_skin_dragon will find a better bike shop that gives you way better service
