Went in and ended up getting an Extremely expensive, all electric AddMotor Trike. I was ready to…read morepay in full for it, but salesman talked me into the 'Extended Pay' program through Synchrony Bank and the 'Freedom to Ride' program! IF YOU CAN PAY, DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM!! They automatically give you a credit card, over 30% interest! Before I got any paperwork for the 'free loan' they sent me an unsolicited credit card with interest on that card over 30%! I thought it was an unsolicited credit card so I cut it up and threw it away. Almost instantly, I got daily comments through text messages, why have you not activated your credit card? Your credit card needs to be activated immediately!! I don't want their over 30% credit card!! Followed by texts, counting down days to payment due! When I try and set up account on the Synchrony bank app., to make a payment, I find that without a Synchrony bank account or their credit card, They tell me that they can't find me and no payment can be made at this time. No Credit Card or Checking or Savings account, located with Synchrony. So I call them and get someone with extremely limited English at the Offshore Call Center!! This person tells me that they will only accept payments through the Synchrony Bank. Either mail a check or money order, or my personal bank debit card information. Tried to pay in FULL using my personal debit card, but would not accept payment more than $500.00. I am glad this is a one purchase only transaction, because I will never go back to a business that insists on me using their payment program, instead of letting me go ahead and pay for my purchase at the time of purchase! P.S. I do enjoy the trike, just not the company that I have to make the payments to!! I just won't be going back very soon to this business! I located a shop near me that lubed the squeaks and will do any future repairs I may need. Also, their "chat" is not actually live. They tell you they will contact you in a few minutes, but it's been over hours and I'm still waiting.

I didn't rent a bike, but I did look a the cute shop and bought a cool bandana with birds on it! I ordered the breakfast tacos and a cortado and let me tell you, you they were the best breakfast tacos I've ever had. I was skeptical because I love breakfast burritos, but these were perfect. Delicious sauce, crunchy potatoes, I added kale and oyster mushrooms. The friendly cashier recommended them and told me they are only on the weekday menu though, so keep that in mind! The coffee was smooth and perfectly made with a cute little design on it. Everything came out quickly. I saw they also have a great beer list with lots of local breweries, so I'm definitely going to come back for dinner/happy hour very soon! Oh! The other day, we were riding along the river path and decided to stop at Spoke for a beer after spending some time on the trail. We walked in, ordered a couple of beers, and the woman helping us immediately seemed annoyed that we were only ordering drinks. Her facial expressions and overall attitude made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. After taking our payment, she went to the back to grab our beers. We waited about seven minutes, which seemed like a long time considering we only ordered beer. When she finally came back, the beers were room temperature instead of cold. Normally I would have said something, but because of how short and unfriendly she had been from the start, I honestly didn't feel comfortable bringing it up. It felt like I'd just be met with more attitude. I still like Spoke, and I'll definitely be back for the breakfast burritos because they're great. I just hope this experience was a one-off, because better customer service and properly chilled beer would have made a huge difference.

bought a new bike last week, love it. Bob gave me a 10% discount on the bike price and lifelong 10% discount on all products at the store as long as I own the bike. Nice customer service and great to support local bike store. I will also say, instead of buying online, taking a risk that you won't get what you want, maybe the fit of the bike isn't right, then you have to either construct it yourself (and possibly compromise the warranty) or pay for your local bike shop to put it together, just buy it here! read more

Have lived in the area for years but hadn't been in here until recently. I'm a usual Universal Cycle customer but decided to stop in Studio Cycle for a rushed but minor bike repair. There was some young kid trying to help me out, I think his name was Stephen?, whatever he's the one with stupid haircut. Not only was he unsociable but he was generally unhelpful. These guys are optimal in great service, both on my bike and in advice. I always appreciate that they answer my questions and put air in my tires and do little extras when I have my bike in for any kind of care. While they don't have an endless array of paraphernalia for the 2 wheeler, they have a good supply of most anything you're going to need, including energy bars. Man, I miss when downtown Burbank had goth-bums hanging out in front of that one coffee shop with Alice in Wonderland painted all over the bathroom walls. I hate that stupid painting of Val Kilmer and Meg Ryan (or is it Jim Morrison and his girlfriend Pamela?) on San Fernando Blvd. down the block from that storyplace pub. As a teen, I listened to music from Manchester - cos Richard Blade (K-R-O-Q: first in Pasadena before Burbank) was spinning just great sounds, right; then Nirvana shows up -which was cool; until corp-USA missed the point entirely and started giving us Alice in Chains - worst band ever! Seriously, quit thinking they're a good band! Then, making things worst, GenX teens who thought Grunge was an off shoot of Classic Rock (nope); started this goddam Doors revival bullsh*. Leave that to your mom, man, we got our own sound! I understood Rodney "On the Rock" Bigenheimer when he sang "I hate the 90s!" Although today I totally miss them days. Honestly. Oh yah, Pure Cycles. Yah, so what I truly dig about these guys - they don't try to sell me sh* I don't need. You see, I got this Cannonball or Cannondale (?) bicycle to ride around Forest Lawn Drive up to Mineral Wells - and I want to wear one of 'em full on psycho...err...cycle outfits like the guys racing PeeWee Herman in the opening of that '85 classic movie - (filmed in Burbank, btw, cos the director was one of 'em goth-bums from Burbank). Anyhow, they're like, "no, dude, you don't need all that...just ride." So yah, if you need true guidance from a group of men who know cycling -and not trying to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need (however, I do recommend you buy one of their riding-caps) - drive up the same street Marty McFly skate-boarded when he yelled out, "I'm late for school!" -cos these gents are just up the block from Doc's house on Victory Blvd. Alice in Chains sucks; turn up The Style Council (Paul Weller, The Jam; good stuff!) instead - those dudes have a cool video of themselves cycling called My Ever Changing Moods. Give that, and these dudes at Pure Cycle a go!

Perfect for my exercise needs. Loved it so much I bought a second one for a vacation home. The second Pure Cycle Fixie was defective. Made a lot of random noise. Took it back to the shop. They spent a lot of time on it--spokes were loose & one was stripped. They also readjusted the chain. Bike still noisy. Took it in again. Mechanic said spokes were loose & made other adjustments. His colleague test rode it out the shop door to show me that they'd fixed the problem. Clunk, snap, snap, clunk--audible over busy traffic & from 40 feet away. Shop explained that the wheel manufacturing at Pure was automated & they sometimes don't get it right. Shop offered another round with the mechanic. I just returned the bike. Got my money back, but a huge disappointment & waste of time.

Ebenezer is the man. I spent $1400 on a new ebike but it gave me too many problems. flat tires,…read morebrakes going bad, and I was always having flats every day. I was biking and saw a sign on a bike lane that had his shop's advertisement and I went there hoping for the best. I walked in and found out the way this man works. I was broke, and only had less than the required amount to fix my tires and my brakes, Ebenezer worked with me and gave me amazing deals that other bike shops wouldn't have. I shopped around and found that fixing one flat tire was going to be $60. and that was just for the inner tube inside the tire not including the actual outer tire. So I called Ebenezer and asked him if he had a used tire he can give me for cheap, he said Yes I do! Other shops do not have a used tire I can buy, they only sell brand new, which would cost me more dollars that I do not have. But Ebenezer has used tires he was willing to let go for $20. So he told me that he was going to take care of me. and I went to the shop, ended up getting BOTH of my tires replaced, and my rear tube replaced. that's THREE services he gave me. Realistiscally, an ebike is a vehicle, despite it being on the bottom of a totem pole. You know that feeling when your car stops working but you need to go to work. But you have barely any cash to fix it. Ebenezer is the type of "mechanic" that will fix your "car", charge you for what you got, instead of what it should be, and doing it in a super quick time that will get you in and out in an hour or less. My ebike works beautifully now, and I just generally love all types of machinery, and Ebenezer, I have the feeling, is the same type of guy that loves what he does while being a great human being all at the same time.
