    Retrospec City Bike Post-Repair

Came here today for an inner tube replacement and was informed that several other issues were wrong with my bike as well. One of the associates who helped me out, Melvin, had exceptional customer service and gave me the entire run down of the issues wrong with my bike and potential reasons why. Service was quick and efficient as well! Glad to know I found this bike shop RIGHT in my backyard.

I was very surprised yesterday in a good way! When I came over to fix My son bicycle cause the chain fall off, I walked in and explained the issue to the nice gentleman that welcomed me in, he right away flipped over the bicycle and fixed the chain in a few minutes , when I asked him "how much do I owe you for that"? He immediately said "nothing it's all good my friend" I guess there are still good people out there.... Thank you again!

RX+Bicycles have amazing customer service and professional bicycle mechanics. I do most of my bicycle repairs myself,. And I am very familiar with bicycle repairs. But when I find myself in a hairy situation with complex gears or delicate components, I always bring my bike to the pros at RX+ Bicycles. Thank you RX-Bicycles

Brought my bike in just to get the whole bike tightened up, I bring it home and ride it only to find out that they didn't put my rear wheel on correctly!!! It was totally rubbing on my new ass frame. They literally damaged my new unknown bike

I love this place and have to give it a full five star review. As a former customer of the fancier ZIP Code bike shops, I can say that retro xpress offers the exact same services, expertise and products as they do. The only difference is that the services are done immediately while you wait( my flat tire repair was done in 15 minutes) and in addition, the services are a fraction of the price of the other competitor bike shops. They have all sorts of bicycles for sale at competitive prices and all of the necessary accessories one would want. The last time I went to one of the competing High rent bike shops I received such an attitude from the technician while he told me it was going to take a couple of days to do the work. Every time I have come here I was greeted with a humble smile and the assurance that the work would be done immediately. Who could ask for more? While this bike shop might not be the most conveniently located for some it is well worth the drive. You will not be disappointed.

This isn't some sleek boutique with overpriced parts and cookie-cutter service. This is Paul's shop--a one-man operation, part museum, part workshop, part time machine--and entirely awesome. I recently pulled two bikes out of storage after 25+ years of collecting dust. One was a cruiser-style 21-speed, the other my old Klein Stage Comp road bike from my triathlon days. My son is just getting into cycling, so I wanted to see if they could be resurrected. Enter Paul. From the moment you walk in, you're hit with nostalgia--cluttered racks, retro parts, classic bikes stacked everywhere, and zero e-bikes (don't even mention them--Paul will make his feelings known! ). Then you meet Paul himself: a lean, strong, greying guy in his 50s with oil-stained hands, a frayed shirt, and the calm intensity of a mad scientist-mechanic who knows his craft inside and out. He's not there to upsell you or push gimmicks. Paul is a caretaker of bicycles. He brought both my bikes back to life for a price that was literally a fraction of what the big box bike shops wanted to charge. And his work? Impeccable. No BS. Just honest, high-skill labor from someone who clearly lives and loves the cycling life. If you want e-bike talk and shiny sales floors, go elsewhere. If you want someone who treats your bike like it's a piece of living history and will get it running better than ever--go see Paul. This place is more than a bike shop--it's a living piece of cycling culture. I'm grateful I found it.

    Ebenezer Bike Shop

Ebenezer is the man. I spent $1400 on a new ebike but it gave me too many problems. flat tires,…read morebrakes going bad, and I was always having flats every day. I was biking and saw a sign on a bike lane that had his shop's advertisement and I went there hoping for the best. I walked in and found out the way this man works. I was broke, and only had less than the required amount to fix my tires and my brakes, Ebenezer worked with me and gave me amazing deals that other bike shops wouldn't have. I shopped around and found that fixing one flat tire was going to be $60. and that was just for the inner tube inside the tire not including the actual outer tire. So I called Ebenezer and asked him if he had a used tire he can give me for cheap, he said Yes I do! Other shops do not have a used tire I can buy, they only sell brand new, which would cost me more dollars that I do not have. But Ebenezer has used tires he was willing to let go for $20. So he told me that he was going to take care of me. and I went to the shop, ended up getting BOTH of my tires replaced, and my rear tube replaced. that's THREE services he gave me. And that's Ebenezer working his magic. He knows the condition, finds the best remedy, all while keeping the cost super low. Ebenezer kept my ebike in a good condition these past few months. Realistiscally, an ebike is a vehicle, despite it being on the bottom of a totem pole. You know that feeling when your car stops working but you need to go to work. But you have barely any cash to fix it. Ebenezer is the type of "mechanic" that will fix your "car", charge you for what you got, instead of what it should be, and doing it in a super quick time that will get you in and out in an hour or less. My ebike works beautifully now, and I just generally love all types of machinery, and Ebenezer, I have the feeling, is the same type of guy that loves what he does while being a great human being all at the same time. What more do you need ?

From the very first moment he gave me personal attention, explained everything with patience, and made sure I fully understood what needed to be done. The price was very fair and transparent with no games or surprises, which gave me complete confidence as a customer. The repair itself was done incredibly fast - within just two hours everything was fixed like new. On top of that, he went the extra mile and cleaned and adjusted the bike thoroughly. You can really tell he loves what he does and genuinely cares about making sure the customer leaves completely satisfied. This place is simply above and beyond - excellent workmanship, honest pricing, and customer service that makes you feel valued. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for reliable and top-quality bike service. No doubt this will be my go-to spot from now on!
