I came in to get my flats fix on my electric bike which it was all good, but when I got home, I notice that they took the original bolts from the kick stan and replace them with random ones and now the kick stan is really stiff and my bike won't stay up this was a Brand-new bike. It sucks that a place like this would take parts from bikes even as small as a screw or bolts. I won't take my bikes there anymore. Plese double check your bike when leaving the place. read more

I have been to a lot of bike shops in Los Angeles and I think the staff here are very nice and helpful. I came in needing my gravel bike converted to tubeless and they were able to help me out. I hate going to bike shops where they look down on you or try to upsell you. That didn't happen here. There is easy parking in the back. I will definitely come back. read more

Second time I've came to this shop. It's conveniently located on Van Nuys Blvd and just north of Burbank Blvd. Two entrances one off of Van Nuys and one off of Burbank. The parking is located in the same shopping center as Chipotle, Panda and Jersey Mike's. First time I purchased a bike lock and the staff member was very helpful. The second I needed a seat post installed and they took care of it faster that I thought possible. I went in on a busy Sunday and amongst all the chaos they managed to do my job. No pressure to buy anything, very relaxed, open space, very very clean, and they have options for bikes. Road, mountain, beach, and kids bikes. Dropped off my cruiser to be repaired on a Saturday around noon. It was ready by 4 pm. I asked for the $70 tune up but when I picked it up they said I didn't need it, so they only charged me $40 for the repairs. It's nice to have honest people bc I wouldn't have known the difference. read more

I had a minor crash a couple of days ago and my bike didn't feel right. After my ride today I stopped in to see if they could help me get to the root of the problem. They were complying with the new ordinances and only allowing one customer at a time so I waited outside -but they saw me as quickly as possible. Froy was so helpful and accommodating. These guys know what they're doing. With Benny's expertise, my bike as good as new in 15 minutes. While I was waiting I decided to get some necessities. Turned out my minor crash was major enough to knock my brake completely off track and kill my bell so I got a new one and a bike pump. Their prices are extremely reasonable and you can't put a price tag on customer service now a days. I hope they can stay open through these challenging times. I'll definitely be back!!! read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I REPEAT. DO NOT COME HERE. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR BICYCLE. I cannot explain how terrible this bike "shop" is. Basically, I brought my e-bike in for a routine brake adjustment. NOTE: I literally RODE the e-bike to the bike shop USING the THROTTLE to get the brakes adjusted and it was working 100% fine. After they finished, I came to test my e-bike only to see that the throttle does not work. Again, it was working perfectly before they touched jt. I politely asked if they could take a look at it. They rudely replied "Not my problem bud". I then tried to speak with the manager. I was repeatedly saying "May I please speak with you sir?" And he was being COMPLETELY IGNORANT and was LOUNGING back watching his phone smoking his cigar. I finally got his attention and told him the issue. He began being OUTRAGEOUSLY rude to me saying things like "this ain't my F*ckin problem" when his workers were LITERALLY THE ONES WHO TOUCHED IT. I once again politely asked him just to take a small look at it and se if he knows a solution. He the began shouting at me saying "GET THE F*CK OUT OF MY STORE" and "I'M GONNA CALL THE F*CKING COPS". Now, I'm dealing with a broken bike. Please, do yourself a favor, DO NOT listen to any of the other reviews no matter how good they seem. Very busy with customers .. I took wife's bike in to get new tires put on. After giving them my wife's bike I asked to see a newer bike for myself. Guy was real good about it, I got to test drive 2 bikes before settling on the one I wanted. Excellent Customer Service. The prices are ok ... I could have saved some money elsewhere .. but on a Sunday .. great selection of bikes .. great customer service .. I had an accident on my bike one morning and my wheel was pretty bent. I was testing fate when I continued my commute knowing the damage on my bike. Later that day, I looked around for bike shops on Yelp and I landed here on Pedalers West Bike Shop. I called ahead of time to see their prices on realigning bike wheels. They brought to my attention that the wheel was very damaged and offered me replacement wheels at amazing prices. I thought I was going to spend at least 80$ just for a new wheel but they sold me a new wheel and installed it for a little under $60. This store is a godsend. They got a new customer. read more

We went to this shop about a week ago to fix my daughters tire. They were fast, quick and safe. But then I noticed that both my daughters really needed new bikes as they are tuning 12 soon. They were ok. Didn't find the staff to be all that friendly or helpful - just lacked communication overall. Was gifted a bike and brought it in for a tune-up, new tires, etc. When I picked up the bike, they just handed it to me with no explanation of what they did. I asked the guy who was ringing me up, he just shrugged and said "you know it regular tune-up." (insert eyes rolling emoji here). The shop is nice, very clean and organized but I think they need a "tune-up" on the customer service. Will probably try someone different in the future. read more

Since the beginning of the year I've been riding my bike which I haven't used in several years and knew it needed some love, but just never got around to a tune up. Finally on a ride as soon as I started I knew something was wrong and returned home and brought my bike to get a tune up. Now this bike hasn't been seen by a professional in a long time. After an inspection from an employee in addition to a tune up I needed new break pads, a new chain and an axel for the rear tire. I was prepared to need to fix a lot of things and was happy to do so. I was told it would take a week. About a week later when they got to work on my bike they discovered that some spokes were also broken and while I did not need to replace the whee for only $10 more then I was already spending a new wheel would prevent future issues. I was happy to be noticed and agreed. Having gotten my bike back today and given it a good 10 mile ride the only thing I am disappointed about is that I did not bring it in sooner to be looked at by a professional. I feel like I have brand new bike in every aspect. The lead time took about 3 days longer than quoted, but I was prepared for that and at the end of the day for quality work I was happy to wait a little longer. I would definitely go back again for the quality work and knowledgeable employees. read more
