What really stood out to me was that the front brake assembly on the bike itself was kind of Janky. It's a pretty cheap assemble yourself bike off amazon. It was out of alignment and never really worked and I had forgotten to ask them to fix it when I had dropped the bike off. When I was putting the bike in the back of my truck after it was repaired, I noticed it was all properly aligned and fully functional. They didnt charge me for it, they didn't even mention that they had fixed it, they just did it. It's the little things like that go a long way for me.

Five years later they've moved into a bigger location, and our boys still love riding over to The Hub Bike Shop. I swear we've probably bought over 20 inner tubes from them by now. The entire staff is so friendly and always willing to go above and beyond, whether it's helping with a repair, fixing a flat, or just making the kids feel welcome. It's more than just a bike shop. I've rented from him successfully before, and he was aware of our plans. With several days of rain in the forecast, the only dry day lined up perfectly for our ride. The night before pickup, Craig canceled the reservation, claiming he didn't want to rent the bikes because the trails would be "too muddy." Mountain bikes are literally designed to handle all conditions--that's the entire point of them. He was obviously aware of the weather forecast well in advance but waited until the last possible moment to back out, giving me zero time to find bikes elsewhere. I will never rent from Craig again and strongly advise others to avoid his service.
