Had a very positive experience primarily due to Michael in the shoe dept. I was searching for my…read morefirst pair of hiking shoes. He went through the different brands and discussed features and benefits of each. Low pressure, just a transfer of knowledge and in the spirit of assistance to ensure I received the correct product. Great experience overall.

Never realized it was such an affront to try on more than two pairs of shoes... Came into to treat…read moremy 80 year old mother to several new pairs of walking shoes and was really surprised when her pretty basic, innocent and perhaps a bit naive question of "what sneaker do you recommend for comfort" got such a snarky reply of "couldn't answer that, all feet are different" with added eye rolls to what ended up being just really unpleasant encounter all together when she asked for a third shoe to which we were told "would take a while" even though we were the only people in the shoe section. (Two other ladies had already been helped and were chatting and no longer trying shoes.) Responded that waiting was "no problem" and proceeded to slip on a pair of shoes on without socks and then got loudly reprimanded for trying on sneakers with no socks!!! Never heard of that before actually and frankly would prefer to try on shoes with socks tbh. It was crazy because we are nice people, manicured feet people i.e clean people who like to buy shoes but that was just uncalled for attitude. To the clearly lazy sales women in the shoe section: bring a pair of socks if you want, try a freaking smile or at least talk to the elderly with some damn respect, do your job and get the shoes. Interestingly there were several sales girls just standing around so wasn't due to lack of available people....
