AWESOME!... Need I say more? Of course, otherwise this will end up being a hidden review. I needed an interior door installed yesterday. That's what I get for procrastinating. There I was with a son that was coming home for winter break, and there wasn't a door for his bedroom. I called NUMEROUS handymen in the morning, and I received very high prices since I wanted same day service. I called Wilfredo asking how soon he would be able to install an interior door, and he stated he would be able to do it the following day. He gave me a price for the following day, and I then asked if he would be able to do it today. He squeezed me into his schedule, and installed it in the evening! He did NOT charge me extra for same day service. I am thankful that Wilfredo was nice enough to work in the evening just so that I would have the door installed before my son arrives. In fact, when he arrived I asked him if he could do a couple other things, and he went to home depot just to get those additional items. They wore those booties on their shoes so that they wouldn't trail in dirt from outdoors. They covered their working area. They also vacuumed afterwards! The workmanship was AWESOME! I've asked Wilfredo to fit me into his schedule so that he could give me an estimate for a floor in my attic. By the time he left my house, it was too dark for him to take measurements of my attic. We hired them to remove a step in our driveway and paid them in full. They removed the step and told us they'd come back to patch the stucco, but never came. I called them to ask them to come and finish, they told me they'd come, but they never showed. After calling them again, their voicemail was full -- I gave up and had someone else finish the job. They also only bill in full hour increments, so we have a 30 minute credit with them, which is irritating since I don't trust them to do any more work for us. read more

I found out about Will's business on Yelp, was a bit skeptical at first. Decided to give him a try. Will takes pride in his work. I had him tile both of my bathrooms. The tile work was good, but Will actually had his tile guy redo part of it, so now it's perfect! Some of his pictures are from my bathroom, so you can be the judge. We hired Wilfredo for another job b/c he did so great the first time. He showed up five minutes early, got the job done quickly, cleaned up every speck of dirt where he worked (some of was there before he got there so I'm embarrassed) and then he was out before my in-laws arrived for the 4th of July weekend. Another slam dunk for Wilfredo. I like him so much, I asked him to give me a quote for three other big projects I need to tackle later this year. Read the reviews and decided to give him a call. Was able to schedule a time and date to do an estimate. A hour passed after our appointed time and no show. I called and left a msg. After an hour later, Wilfredo calls back and said that he had over slept due to some ailment and that he will be there shortly. Upon his arrival we went down the laundry list of what I wanted done. After finishing, he told me that I would receive an estimate via my e-mai in approx two days. One week passes and still no estimate. I call several times and left msgs. No return calls. Another week passes and I call him several times and again left msgs. No return calls again. Called for the last time and Wilfredo finally answers. He said that he had sent it and promised to resend the bid. One week passes and still no bid. My e-mail is working fine. Can not give review for a job that would've easily been worth $10,000.00 since he didn't send a bid nor did any job. But I can give him zero stars for very poor customer service ie. not returning calls, makes promises that he doesn't keep etc. If he didn't want to do the job then he should of said so and not wasted my time. I CANNOT RECOMMEND WILFREDO...he just might waste your time. read more

Wilfredo has poor business ethics and no courtesy. He left our project unfinished, never called and simply didn't give a damn. I used him because my brother was very pleased with the job Wilfredo did for him and can't understand why the 180 degree. When I called Wilfredo to find out if he intended to finish the job, he said his mom had just passed away and sorry he hadn't called and that he would send his workers the following week to finish and clean up the mess they left. That was the week of Thanksgiving 2011 it is now Dec 10th and I've yet to hear from him. It is sad to loose a loved one and that is a legitimate excuse for a delay on a project, but no call no show is just bad business! read more

this is long over due, but I am glad that I am finally taking the time to post this. Initially, this company was recommended to me by an electrician that was doing work on one of my houses . I had a plumbing problem, and they took care of it, then about 6 months later I had another plumbing problem with another home that I own, they came out, gave me an estimate, and I paid them for their services - unfortunately the work was not done correctly - I tried to get them to come back, the voice mail was FULL - and then after many tries I was able to speak to Wilfredo directly - he then told me he would be sending someone out - and they NEVER came - by then my tenant was out of hot water for almost a week ! - so I had to get someone else to finish/fix the job. Its a shame that I will NEVER use them again, they make good "first impressions", but are not consistent, reachable, trustworty or timely - basically, they are just out to make sure they bill. Also, just an FYI - the "owner" who is Wilfredo, and holds the contract license - I never saw him directly, but he sends other guys out to do the work - and sometimes they are not the most "legit" - so please don't use them, find someone else - you would be better off. I know I will never use them, I own 3 homes, that need constant repair for this and that - he will definitely NOT be getting my business ever again, and I told him that the last time I spoke to him- (in fluent Spanish!). I hired Wilfredo to do a bunch of assorted small jobs around my condo (install faucets, painting and sealing, weather stripping, replace electrical outlet, install curtains, etc.). He was responsive; when he missed a call, he would return it promptly. He was on-time and clean! I found him to be very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He was able to do everything I asked of him, in about the time he originally estimated it would take him. All the repairs he did were done with care and attention to detail. His minimum is a little high, so I wouldn't hire him to do a single small job--I would wait until I had a couple projects. He's definitely money well spent when you have at least a couple hours worth of work. read more

Wilfredo's crew recently painted and refinished my old damaged kitchen cabinets, installed a new counter and sink. There were a few issues with the paint job on the kitchen walls, but they fixed it to my satisfaction after I brought it to their attention. The kitchen looks great and you really can't beat their price. They've done other jobs around our house too (installed a stackable washer/dryer, re-routed cable through attic, fixed crawl-space door) and in the end, I always wonder why I didn't just call them sooner. So far, I have to say that their work is top quality, and done in a reasonable time. They have done 3 projects for me from electrical installation, to door cut in and framing, and even removing carpet from my entry steps and restoring the wood treads and landings. EB Specialist Handyman in Pasadena Will is the best of the best. Beyond excellent. He was referred to me by friends in Mount Washington that have this killer architectural house and I learned he actually will drive out to Long Beach to do work... He has gotten my house completely together, doing everything from painting to weather stripping to redoing the floors on my deck to redoing my bathrooms (they now look like something out of Dwell Magazine), and he is a total perfectionist, awesome to deal with, and clean (no mess -- he and anyone he brings puts on paper covers on their boots to keep the floors clean and vacuums up any residual dirt from the work). He is also super trustworthy. I've left him unsupervised on big jobs with my jewelry lying out and have never once had to think about it. If you go into home improvement mode, this is the guy you want on the job. I cannot overstate what AWESOME work this guy does. Hire him and you'll never look back!!! read more
